Chapter 246: The Dark Bible and Satan
“You’re taking my tablet again!”
Rabbit was about to continue ssing with the tablet, but Lu Shanshan quickly hoised it by the ears, preventing it from fighting back.
It flashed an appealing smile at Lu Shanshan while cursing her deep down. It was humiliating enough that Lu Xuan was a monster in human form, and now it had to even deal with Lu Shanshan, who seed to have beco quite a monster herself before anyone knew it.
Rabbit recalled the sparring a few days ago, where it had quite literally been hamred by Lu Shanshan. The fight was so horrifying that this king of monsters was traumatized sowhat.
The Lu family sure was filled with a bunch of sickos!
While Lu Shanshan, under Lu Xuan’s guidance, had been able to make a breakthrough and beco an Invincible Vajra not too long ago, she was already capable of beating down the Rabbit—a king of monsters at Invincible Vajra Level.
The animal never stood a chance throughout the fight; it was a one-sided slaughter throughout.
It had to reluctantly acknowledge that the Lu family would still be able to stand strong even without Lu Xuan. When the world beca more restored, and Celestials erged by the dozens, Lu Shanshan would be able to beco one of the best among them all.
What it found even scarier was Liu Wanrong, the mother of the Lu siblings. While she hardly ever fought, the aura about her alone was already sufficient to strike fear into others.
Worse still, even Lu Guogu—the baby—was anything but ordinary. The baby girl was literally capable of crushing a stone tablet with ease if she were to not hold back.
Lu Tianxiang was the only weakling in the entire family. The power difference between him and the rest of his family was very obvious. However, if one just looked at the ti Lu Tianxiang had been spending in cultivation, one would have found him frightening nonetheless.
Lu Shanshan took the tablet away and checked the news on the dark web. Over half of it had sothing to do with her brother.
That battle was deed unlike any other. Not only did that battle manage to shock those in Huaxia, but it shocked every cultivator throughout the world as well.
Everyone learned what the powers of soone at the Celestial Realm were like through that battle.
What transpired put governnts throughout the world on edge.
“My bro, aweso as always. And that ans I have no ti slacking away. It looks like I’ve got my work cut out for ,” she said as she took the tablet away and resud training.
All who reached Invincible Vajra Level in Yunxuan Villa were training hard at that ti in order to fortify their foundation and break into the Celestial Realm.
Those who were not yet at Invincible Vajra Level were busy training as well in order to get to Invincible Vajra Level as soon as possible.
While Count Dracula had been unable to do much when he attacked the villa, what he did had nonetheless frightened everyone there.
That shock alone was more than enough to get everyone in Yunxuan Villa to train harder than before.
The sluggish atmosphere in the air brought about by many who had reached Invincible Vajra Level was quickly dispelled before it was able to spread far.
Lu Xuan was checking out the Dark Bible in one of the hidden rooms in the villa.
The Dark Bible had cracks all over it, but it still contained dark energies of very high purity.
While the Count lost to Lu Xuan all the sa while using the Dark Bible, that did not an that there was sothing wrong with the book.
In fact, as one of the prominent weapons of the Covenant of Darkness, it was an item that was forged using the lifeblood of many legendary figures. As far as quality went, it was every bit above that of the True Force Sword.
However, the damage taken during that war all those years ago was severe enough that the book suffered a huge drop in terms of power.
But then again, it was still capable of enabling the Count to fight Lu Xuan head-on, and one could tell just how fearso the book was from that fact alone.
There was a mysterious barrier on the Dark Bible, but Lu Xuan was able to break through it without breaking a sweat.
The Dark Bible was not all that different from the Light Bible in that both books propagated genesis, but the dark book sang praises instead to the legendary lord of hell—Satan.
Satan was a being who stood at the pinnacle of dark Western myths. In the eyes of many, Satan was soone who stood toe-to-toe to God.
Other than the contents of religious nature, there was also only one spell inscribed in the Dark Bible—the thod to summon Satan.
The blob of that dark shadow that the Count summoned back then was none other than a projection of Satan himself.
It was said that the Satan that was summoned varied from one form to another depending on the powers of the ones who wield the book.
Supposedly, whoever had ample powers and held the complete, undamaged Dark Bible would be able to summon the legendary Satan himself to their plane of existence.
The Covenant of Darkness had only been able to fight the church to a tie due to having summoned Satan. While the church was severely crippled, they were by no ans eradicated.
The Dark Bible was also severely damaged in that battle.
But then again, all of those were hearsay and legends. In the hands of the Count, the book was hardly able to summon more than a projection with a fraction of the dark lord’s powers.
The Count was far from being at the peak of his powers as well. That, coupled with the fact that the Dark Bible was so banged up that it was only a shadow of its forr form, ant that what was summoned was little more than a blob of a dark shadow.
The Dark Bible itself was also a very, very powerful power item. The book was capable of amplifying the power of any spell of dark nature by more than 30 percent, even doubling the power of said spells if the Dark Bible was in its complete form.
That ant that the fighter wielding the complete book could have their powers doubled, which would play a determining role in a fight between two fighters of the sa level.
Unless the wielder ran into so monster, like Lu Xuan, everyone else would have been made short work of before the might of the Dark Bible.
That was also the fundantal reason enabling the Count to dare to co to Huaxia alone. The Count never thought there was soone out there capable of besting him with the book.
In truth, the Count was indeed so powerful that not even the common fighters of the Celestial Realm would be able to best him, and more so when he had the Dark Bible in hand. Unless the Huaxian governnt was willing to take him out using nuclear weapons, there was virtually nothing that could pose a threat to his life.
Yet, he ran into the likes of Lu Xuan, who was literally a walking cheat code of sorts, all the sa.
None of that ant much to Lu Xuan. He was indeed capable of creating thods of cultivating dark powers, as well as techniques and spells for harnessing the power of such dark powers if he so fancied.
However, there was simply no need for him to do so, which was why he deed the Dark Bible to be of little aning to him.
But then again, if he were to have any intention of selling the book, it would have sent the entire world into a frenzy—even the church—which had been the age-old archnesis of the Covenant of Darkness. They would have offered to buy the book at an astronomical price.
That was because it was said that the Dark Bible harbored the fundantal secrets to the origins of creatures of darkness, and there were many who wanted to look into those secrets.
No matter. I’ll just keep it locked up for now. While the Dark Bible is of little use to , it will do so good when the ti cos, Lu Xuan thought to himself as he narrowed his gaze.
There was soone knocking outside the door. It was Shi Danze, who ca to inform Lu Xuan that Ming Yueyao—the vice chief of the Special Task Force—had co to notify him that the Special Task Force had granted him full access to their vaults. This permitted him to pick whatever he fancied in there.
Lu Xuan went out on a trip to the capital with Ming Yueyao right away.
