[Year 2029 : The Fall - Earth - Past]

A root appeared out of nowhere.

One massive root... ancient, cracked, thicker than mountains.

It pierced through the clouds.

And began wrapping around Earth.

By the end of the day—

Everything was covered.

Buildings crushed.

Mountains split.

Roads erased.

Cities gone.

So countries?

Didn’t even exist anymore. Flattened. Buried.

The world watched it happen.

So ran. So fild.

Most never made it out.

Everyone who saw it asked the sa thing.

"What is that?"

After twenty-four hours,

It stopped.

The end of the root floated over the Pacific Ocean.

Just above the water. Still. Quiet.

Then it touched the sea.

And sothing fell.

A cracked, glowing object, barely the size of a coin... dropped from the tip.

It sank slowly, fading into the deep ocean

What it was... no one knows.

[12-Hour News | Ergency Broadcast]

"We’re live at the base of what scientists are now calling theRoot of the World Tree.

The surface is warm. There’s steam rising from the point of contact.

No casualties reported from this area at the mont.

Residents were able to evacuate as the root descended slowly.

So tried cutting into it with chainsaws... but not a single scratch.

Not even a dent."

[CMM News | On-Site Report]

"This is Bud, reporting from a boat in the Pacific.

We’re just a few hundred ters from the root’s tip.

We’ve confird sothing strange—

A massive opening near the end.

At least 100 ters wide. Looks like an entrance.

Too dark to see inside... but the surface around it—

It’s covered in vein-like patterns.

Glowing faintly. Almost... pulsing."

The world paused for a mont.

Governnts launched ergency eting the second the root landed.

The apocalypse?

An alien invasion?

Theories exploded online.

Everyone had an answer.

And before anyone could decide what to believe—

The Monsters Ca.

They erged from the entrance.

One by one... then all at once.

Running.

Climbing.

Crawling.

Small, fast creatures— two... maybe three feet tall.

Glowing veins and Leaf-like ears that twitched with every movent.

Their smiles stretch too wide.

From a distance, a group of newscasters, explorers, and scientists made their way onto the massive root.

They didn’t seem to notice the creatures yet—too focused on their own work.

The newscasters set up for a live broadcast.

Scientists took samples and readings.

Explorers moved ahead, mapping the surface.

Then soone spotted movent at the tip of the World Tree.

"Yo.... What is that?" the cara shook as the caraman zood in.

"I dunno," the reporter said, half-smiling. "Looks kinda cute though."

Then it opened its mouth.

Not to speak—

But to scream.

One pounced.

Then another.

By the ti the humans scread back, it was too late.

They tore through clothes and flesh, blood splattered across the lens.

They laughed while they hunted.

Like they were playing.

After they tore through the expedition team... they didn’t stop.

They spread.

So clambered up the World Tree’s root, using it like a highway across continents.

Others dove into the ocean, disappearing beneath the waves.

They didn’t wait.

They didn’t rest.

North. South. East. West.

The invasion had begun.

United States — New York City

"Yo, is this part of a movie or sothin?"

A guy lifted his phone, recording the tiny creature standing in the middle of Tis Square.

"Looks like a mascot for so promo, bro." His friend chuckled, sipping iced coffee,

The creature tilted its head. Blinked once. Slowly.

Then it jumped.

Wooden claws tore into a man’s leg.

He collapsed, screaming. Blood sprayed across the pavent.

"What the f—!?"

Panic erupted.

Japan — Shibuya Crossing

"Nani sore? So kind of mascot?" a high schooler asked, spotting the small figure at the edge of the crosswalk.

"Kawaii... looks like a tree Pokemon." her friend laughed, snapping a photo.

No one paid much attention... until a sharp scream tore through the crowd.

The creature had moved. Too fast. A woman clutched her bleeding arm.

"Yabai..." the student whispered, frozen.

Her friend stumbled back, voice shaking. "Uso da... this isn’t a joke..."

Shibuya’s hum turned into panic.

Russia — Red Square, Moscow

"Chto eto? So kinda snow statue?" a man muttered, narrowing his eyes at the motionless figure near Lenin’s Mausoleum.

"Stranno... little footprints?" his friend asked, brushing snow off his coat.

Children nearby giggled, tossing snowballs... until one hit the creature.

It flinched. Turned.

"Blyat..." the man whispered, watching sharp bark-like limbs sprout from its back.

The kids scread.

"Ukhodi! Get away from there!" soone shouted as the creature bolted forward, knocking over a souvenir stand.

Snow turned red.

South Korea — Seoul Station

"Is that kid dressed up?" an office worker asked, slowing as he spotted a small figure beside a food stand.

"Aniya...jeogeon ae aniya," an old man muttered, eyes narrowing.

The creature twitched... then leapt. Its claws ripped clean through the food stall.

"What do we do?! What do we—" the office worker spluttered.

"Dumangchyeo! Jigeum!" the old man shouted, dragging him away.

Screams erupted. The station broke into chaos.

By midnight, footage flooded social dia. Grainy clips of claws tearing through crowds, shaky livestreams ending in screams. Police lines broke. Ambulances overturned.

Airports filled with stampedes.

From gacities to small towns, the sa question spread like wildfire: What are these things?

In Europe, military checkpoints were overrun.

In so parts of Asia, police forces reported mass casualties.

In Australia, sirens hadn’t stopped since evening.

Governnts urged calm—through unverified posts online claid the creatures were multiplying.

In truth, they weren’t.

They only ca from one place... The vast hole at the Pacific root’s tip.

But with each passing hour, more crawled out of it and scattered across the Earth.

Giving the illusion of endless swarms...

Citizens were told to stay indoors, avoid gatherings, and wait for instructions.

But as night dragged on and reports worsened, the ssage changed.

[CMM News Broadcast]

"...This just in—military forces across multiple nations have been deployed. Early reports confirm direct engagent with the creatures. Casualties are rising. Governnts urge all civilians to head to designated safe zones imdiately..."

Outside the city, convoys lined the streets... soldiers herding civilians toward reinforced shelters and underground stations.

Mothers clutched crying children.

Old n stumbled with bags half-packed.

The roar of engines and the wail of sirens drowned out every voice.

"Move! FASTER!" a soldier barked, waving people through the checkpoint into a concrete bomb shelter. The air was damp and crowded, but still safer than the streets.

Once the bulk of the civilians had gone in, the soldiers’ tone shifted. Crates were dragged open. Rifles handed out.

"Teens and adults—line up! If you can hold a weapon, you’re protecting this shelter."

A boy barely out of high school stared at the gun shoved into his hands, fingers trembling.

A father looked back at his wife and daughter before taking one too, jaw tight.

After weeks of endless defending... in a concrete chamber far from the burning cities, the surviving world leaders argued over a strategy via a virtual eting.

"We can’t hold out like this," one voice said.

"Its only a matter of ti before we run out of supplies," said another.

Silence fell. Then, at last...

Soone spoke the words everyone feared and needed to hear.

"It’s ti to strike back."

The room went quiet. Then one by one, every leader nodded.
