ED: Cheerycheri
“I’m Sung Yoo-bin, Sung Yoon-jae’s younger sister.”
“…”
Sung Yoo-bin calmly opened her mouth and her gaze landed on Kang Yoo-hyun. Even though I was standing next to Kang Yoo-hyun, I was treated like I didn’t exist. But the treatnt was not unpleasant. Rather, I’m very happy about it. It’s ti for to step aside and let them have the conversation as young fellows…
“Ugh…”
Shit.
My body couldn’t move, I was like an animal caught in a trap. Kang Yoo-hyun squeezed tighter as I struggled to get out and wouldn’t let go. I an, why is he doing this to ?
Eventually, I stopped struggling, and the sound of their conversation continued in front of .
“Don’t you have sothing to say to , Hunter Kang Yoo-hyun?”
“No, I don’t.”
“…”
The cold atmosphere was unusual. I know better than anyone how short the patience of those ranked S or higher is. The system gave them great power, but it also gave them a shitty temper. They appear calm on the surface, but in actuality, they are psycho bastards that are always ticking like a ti bomb that could explode at any mont.
“I have nothing to say…”
Sung Yoo-bin’s eyes instantly beca terrifying. She didn’t expect much. If only Kang Yoo-hyun had told her how her older brother, Sung Yoon-jae, died inside the gate or whether he had left any words for her, then she would have returned without bothering him.
However, there would be thousands of people who would approach Kang Yoo-hyun if he spent so ti telling every family about their relative’s last monts. This was because the imdiate family of the first generation of awakened people who died exceeds 1,000 people.
So he chose silence. If he listened to the grieving families every wish, he might not be able to prevent future dungeon abnormalities in ti. He made the decision because if he couldn’t prevent it, there would be a disaster greater than the loss of the first generation of awakened people.
When I read the novel, that’s the part where I thought he was a cold-hearted person. Because Kang Yoo-hyun is the main character with rapid developnt, it is inconsistent with his deanour to express guilt to the bereaved families, so he makes his own decisions because surviving alone does not an he committed a cri.
Um…
However, I felt a little weak when I saw Sung Yoo-bin’s eyes, which seed to be ready to burst into tears at any mont. Still, I can at least say sothing good about her older brother.
“How could you do that? You’re an SS class, so you’re the only one who survived.”
“…”
“But, how co you never complint us?”
Um, that’s a little…
Sung Yoo-bin said this because she didn’t know how much effort Kang Yoo-Hyun had put in with the awakeners of the first generation when they were trapped inside the gate. After reading the novel, I knew the story of it, but she didn’t.
Niflheim was never an easy place to survive in just because he was awakened as an SS-class. On the other hand, the rest of the first generation awakeners, who were not SS-classes, got in the way of Kang Yoo-hyun at all tis, he did nothing wrong.
However, the public still blad Kang Yoo-hyun for being the only survivor. Many people criticized him as incompetent for not being able to protect anyone even though he was an SS-class. It was clear that they would’ve more incompetent if they were in the sa situation. Then there was an abnormality in a dungeon, so they stuck to Kang Yoo-hyun again. Undeniably, they are a bunch of selfish people.
“So, that’s all you wanted to say?”
“…”
“Don’t get in the way and get lost. It’s unpleasant.”
Our main character is so rude.
But in the novel, I don’t think he said this during his first eting with Sung Yoo-bin. Still, isn’t he supposed to beat around the bush? I don’t think he said anything so rude to her so straightforwardly like he did to her now.
When I felt the difference in the characters from the novel again, my expression hardened slightly, and an angry voice rang in my ears.
“Hunter Kang Yoo-hyun…!”
“…!”
Red flas flickered around Sung Yoo-bin. I don’t know if she can handle her fire ability properly when it explodes in such a place. Surprised, I waved my hand and shouted.
“Ex–excuse , Hunter Sung Yoo-bin!”
“…!”
Her eyes widened slightly as she turned towards . Her red eyes trembled as if she had finally recognized .
‘”Haha, I am a fan of Hunter Sung Yoo-bin.”
“Oh, you’re…”
Still, Sung Yoo-bin pretended to know a little as if she had seen at the press conference. I freed myself from Kang Yoo-hyun’s arm, which was a little loose, perhaps because he was bewildered, and I got a little closer to Sung Yoo-bin.
“I’m always watching you play well! You’re so cool.”
“…Thank you.”
Sung Yoo-bin had a blunt personality and little immunity to excessive flattery. My stiff face cracked a little. Yeah, don’t just forget about like that. Unlike you guys, Han Yi-jin, as a B-class, has a weak body, and won’t be able to withstand even the slightest impact from higher classes such as yourselves.
“The Freya Guild took the lead in clearing higher grade dungeons, right? Thank you for your hard work.”
“No, thank you.”
My mouth moved smoothly to survive. Han Yi-jin’s passive skill, which I found useless, made my tongue oily. Thanks to that, Sung Yoo-bin regained her composure without thinking about using her abilities again.
Sung Yoo-bin’s face looked like a doll’s when I saw her up close. After all, she was ranked at the top among the heroines in terms of appearance. Despite being a woman, she was almost the sa height as Han Yi-jin, probably because she was an S-class. Thanks to that, I could admire Song Yoo-bin’s face in front of . Of course, I was nervous because I saw a ti bomb that could explode at any mont.
“By the way, you…”
“Yes?”
Song Yoo-bin’s eyes looked at becoming gradually strange. Her pupils, which had lost their red and turned black, shrunk as they stared at . Like the eyes of a cat that had found its prey. It was then that I felt a little uncomfortable with her persistent gaze.
“Uwagh!”
I was dragged back helplessly by Kang Yoo-hyun’s sturdy arms and locked back in his embrace. The pungent sll of musk stung my nose again.
“Let’s go.”
“Ah, wait…”
Kang Yoo-hyun, who spoke in a stiff voice, didn’t listen to my words and continued walking. For so reason, Sung Yoo-bin didn’t stop him, she just stared blankly.
Well, anyway, I’m glad it didn’t turn into a fight. Sighing inwardly, I only realized sothing was wrong when we entered the parking lot.
“Where are we going?”
“Ho.”
“Whose house?”
“…”
His house? Am I going to his house? But why would he drag there?
In front of , who was confused, a shiny foreign car ca into sight. Knowing that it was Kang Yoo-hyun’s car, I retreated in surprise.
“Wa–wait, hey, wait!”
Then, Kang Yoo-hyun looked at as I struggled and asked in an annoyed tone.
“Why?”
“Why? Why would I go to your house?”
Going to the main character’s house is burdenso. It’s too much!
Why would he do this when he hated having soone in his territory because of his experience of being trapped inside the gate? It was his sanctuary that none of the heroines had ever entered throughout the novel.
However, there was sothing else that made my mind complicated. It was because Kang Yoo-hyun looked at as if he was going to devour with his glaring eyes.
“Why? Are you going to run away again?”
“Run? What do you an run away? When did I…”
I did. I ran away from Kang Yoo-hyun twice.
Once when I kidnapped Kang Soo-hyun, and another ti in the dungeon. Especially in the dungeon, I let him suffer from the side effects and returned through the portal with Eden. Haha, my goodness. Why did I do that?
When I smiled awkwardly, his grip on beca stronger.
“Keep running away like that. I wonder how far you can go.”
“No, that…”
Why is he saying such scary things? There seems to be sothing wrong with his gaze again. Why does he keep looking at like that? I’m scared to death, you SS-class protagonist!
“Let go first…”
“Shut up.”
I could hear his teeth grinding. I don’t know why he’s so angry. Was it because I ran away so many tis that his trust in had bottod out? So he’s gonna lock in his house?
That’s a bit of a problem. By the ti the number of dungeon rating abnormalities have dwindled, I really have to find a way to stay away from the main character. Otherwise, I don’t know what will happen to Han Yi-jin’s death flag.
No matter what, I have to stop myself from being dragged into Kang Yoo-hyun’s house. I have so things to do after the press conference. However, Kang Yoo-hyun didn’t seem to want to let go, and his body was a bit close. To the point where I felt embarrassed.
A thought popped into my mind as I looked into his glaring eyes. This jerk, is he really upset? I–I think those parts are going to touch? When I felt our lower bodies almost touching each other embarrassingly—
“Hunter Han Yi-jin.”
“Hyung?”
“…!”
My saviours appeared. Park Yoon-sung and Kang Soo-hyun had entered the parking lot and approached us. It seems that Park Yoon-sung was late because he had to clean up the ss on behalf of Kang Yoo-hyun, who left first.
“Gu–guildmaster-nim!”
“Tsk.”
I looked at him with shining eyes as if I had found my lifeline. On the other hand, Kang Yoo-hyun was displeased and clicked his tongue.
“What are you doing here?”
“That’s…”
I couldn’t honestly talk about the kidnapping and confinent scene, so I looked at Kang Yoo-hyun. I gulped subconsciously saw Kang Yoo-hyun’s eyes still staring at like a predator watching its prey—
A monotonous ringtone sounded in the parking lot. Park Yoon-sung took out his cell phone, said, “Wait a minute,” and put the phone to his ear.
“Yes, I understand.”
After finishing the short call, Park Yoon-sung imdiately turned his head and looked at . When I looked at him curiously, he said with a smile.
“Jang Tae-san will be arrested soon.”
“Yes?”
Wait, this fast?
Seeing my surprise, Park Yoon-sung’s smile deepened.
“Should we go write up a contract?”
“…”
For so reason, his smile looked a little scary.
T/N: What a bold move KYH 😂😂 anyway, I’m taking a break next week so no update. And let give you a spoiler, the next chapter is about Jang Tae-san. Thank you reading. 🙏😊❤
