The students were still discussing what happened during the entrance ceremony with excitent even after returning to their classroom.

Compared to the musical performances, they were more excited about the stage play.

The play was an adaptation of the previous year’s graduate students’ raid of a tier 6 Shadow World.

There were many twists and turns to the story. In the end, with several raiders cooperating with each other, they finally successfully cleared the Shadow World. It was a moving ending.

Evidently, the stage play evoked a strong fighting spirit in the hearts of the incoming freshn.

They all looked forward to the day when they would be able to raid high level Shadow Worlds.

The classroom beca even more clamorous than when the students first arrived in the morning.

It seed like all the students had let go of their guard against each other and were starting to chat with one another.

There were also students that tried to chat with Dekan and Cornelia.

However, while they were able to understand Dekan, they weren’t able to understand Cornelia.

It seed like Dekan needed to translate Cornelia’s speech for them every ti.

In the end, the students confird that Dekan and Cornelia were much more approachable than they originally imagined.

If one was to ignore the kind of cards Dekan uses, he would be an ordinary young man.

As for Cornelia, even though she appeared quite cold, she was not soone to put on airs.

“Thanks.”

Cornelia said to Dekan.

“No problem.”

Dekan smiled helplessly.

Cornelia was very happy.

It was her first ti being able to efficiently converse with this many people since her arrival in the Norton Kingdom.

The two of them were still seated at the back of the lecture hall. However, it seed like the ‘boundary’ between them and the other students was no longer that distinct.

Although the students were all in Class A, they were all students of the Knight College, the college of fighters and martial artists. Few among them were fond of reading.

To them, the classroom was no different from a cage.

However, to their surprise, the first place scorer, Dekan, was earnestly holding a book.

As for the second place scorer Cornelia, she was quietly sitting there without saying a word.

She seed to have attempted reading the materials handed out by the college. But, she soon closed the book.

For so unknown reason, the other students began to imitate them.

Gradually, the classroom beca quiet again. It seed like the excitent in the students’ hearts had cald down.

So this is the mindset of the strong.

They’ve all achieved enlightennt.

When Professor Arnold returned to the classroom, he was shocked by the strange scene.

He passed by the other three classes on his way back. They were all still extrely noisy. However, upon returning here, it seed like he arrived at a library.

Professor Arnold breathed a deep breath of air, walked up to the podium and began to explain the colleges’ various matters and lessons.

Actually, the college had issued written materials. One would be able to learn all of that from its contents.

However, it seed like there would always be fools that wouldn’t bother to read those materials every year. As their horoom teacher, Arnold must stress everything to the students again.

For the Knight College’s freshn, they needed to take four required courses for their first sester.

Battle.

Mathematics.

General knowledge about the Shadow Worlds.

Basic theories about Magic Cards.

The students from Class A had to take the four courses together. They would all be automatically enrolled in them.

As for the other courses, the students were all allowed to do whatever they wanted. They could even take the other three college’s courses should they be so interested.

The courses provided by the College of Alchemy were especially extensive. There were even courses on psychology, economy, dicine, herbs etc.

To the students from the College of Alchemy, those courses might all be nightmares as they would all be required to take and finish the majority of those courses.

After all, they weren’t required to enter instance dungeons.

As for the students from the Knight College, the majority of them wouldn’t bother taking too many academic courses.

Instead, they would hunt in the adventure region or raid Shadow Worlds for course credits.

The electives were to be taken with the students from other classes. Moreover, the students must finish deciding what sort of electives to take within two weeks.

During the first two weeks, the students were allowed to sit in lectures to choose their electives. They were also allowed to enroll in and cancel from electives.

Dekan was interested in economic and magic engineering courses.

But, he was not planning to take on too many electives as he planned to focus himself on card making.

If he were to not have enough course credits, he would just go and raid a couple Shadow Worlds to make up for it.

It would be an easy task as long as he found a hard carry and played as their support.

As for the candidate for the hard carry…

Dekan took a glance at Cornelia.

Although Cornelia was only tier 3, her strength was comparable to that of tier 4.

If he was to team up with her, they would most likely be placed in matching tier 2 or 3 Shadow Worlds.

Their team could be said to be completely unstoppable.

It was perfect.

“Make sure to carefully study the materials being handed out. It’s a good thing to think over what courses to take as electives. Well then, this would be it for today’s lesson!”

After saying all the important things, Professor Arnold left straight out the classroom.

Dekan packed up his books and materials and planned to leave too.

It was then that he discovered Cornelia seed to be sowhat distressed. The materials handed to her were crushed in her hand.

If she was to put more strength into her hand, that paper might be crushed into fine dust.

“What’s wrong?” asked Dekan.

“Math…”

Cornelia was bad at math.

Mathematics was fundantal in the raiding of Shadow Worlds and the utilization of magic cards.

But, Cornelia had no idea how to do math.

She nearly failed her written exam portion of the entrance exam.

Apart from that, she also didn’t know what sort of electives she should take.

She thought about not choosing any electives and to simply earn course credits through raiding Shadow Worlds.

All she would need to do would be to find a teammate who’s very good with their studies.

After all, the majority of the Shadow Worlds cannot be cleared with brute force alone.

Intelligence people would generally live longer compared to brutes.

Alas, the students of the Knight College were all fighters and bad at studies. She also didn’t know anyone from the other three colleges.

That was the reason why she was feeling so distressed.

Dekan: “Teach.”

Cornelia: “Good?”

Dekan: “Bet.”

Cornelia: “Food?”

Dekan: “Go.”

Cornelia’s mood got better.

It was truly simple to communicate with soone smart.

……

Cornelia and Dekan left the classroom together.

They captured the attention of many other students as they walked through the building.

They were surprised to know that the two of them were not only classmates that would sit together, they would even move together after class.

If they were in other colleges, they would most definitely be deed as an ideal couple.

They would be the best gossip topic for the new school year.

But…

These two people…

They were the two most dangerous people in the Knight College.

Their union… gave off the feeling of a criminal duo.

Seeing them together, one could only feel fear.

…….

Dekan and Cornelia found a restaurant. It was a western-style buffet.

As neither of them were certain of the hunger level and food preference of the opposing party, they decided to choose this restaurant.

Generally, one would end up overeating in a buffet restaurant. Thus, Dekan did not get too much food on his plate.

Cornelia didn’t get much either.

The two of them were both quite quiet while eating.

Neither of them were the type that enjoyed chatting while eating.

Soon, Dekan felt full.

He took a glance at Cornelia across from him. She seed to have finished her food and was waiting on him. “You’re done eating?”

“Mn.”

“What do you plan to do about your elective?”

“All raids.”

“Together?”

“O-Okay.”

Although Cornelia didn’t know how book smart Dekan was, she knew that he must be smarter than her.

She was certain that he was an intelligent man.

And, most importantly, she acknowledged his strength.

Cornelia: “Where to next?”

Dekan: “Library.”

Cornelia: “Together?”

Dekan: “Sure.”
