Chapter 246: To See You (5)
Luis stayed with the newly arrived Lightning Clan for three more hours before finally continuing his pursuit of Xagrien.
As promised, he brought a group of elite trackers from Kaldini Mountain—led by Gael, the young patriarch who carried an uncanny resemblance to Xagrien.
Luis originally planned to send Gael ahead to Woodrill City and let the others settle outside the walls.
But apparently, Gael was the top tracker of the clan.
According to the old elders of the Kaldini Lightning Clan, if the Moon Elf Lord relied on their clan’s skills, then they would send not just anyone but the best of the best.
Luis appreciated the sentint... but was it really wise to let two possibly-related people et for the first ti in the middle of a dangerous mission?
His past-life experience with dog-blood dramas whispered ominous warnings.
You don’t stage reunions during life-or-death situations. That’s how you get funerals.
Although it was not confird yet, Luis has a strong itch that Xagrien and Gael are definitely related. And if the bad foreshadowing based on dramas turns out to be true, he can only imagine how horrible it would be.
Luis was really unwilling.
Still, the clan’s goodwill won out. Their good intentions beat the Moon Elf Lord’s needless paranoia that stemd from watching stupid dog-blood drama.
Gael would lead the trackers, and Luis could only accept.
Luis revised his plans, leaving an elder to coordinate with Woodrill City and secure a long-term settlent — a job that was supposed to fall on the clan patriarch.
"Woodrill City is ready to accept our moon elf brothers," Luis told the elders. "They’ll allocate a hunting ground. Just cooperate."
"We will fulfil everything asked of us, My Lord."
They bowed deeply.
Luis smiled warmly. They’d fit nicely into his growing family.
And so, Luis, Legland, Olyn, plus Gael and five trackers continued north.
It took five hours to exit the mossy forest. During that ti, Luis and his two companions subtly sized up the new arrivals.
From a trio to a party of ten. Population boom indeed.
Legland leaned in to whisper, "My Lord, these warriors are well disciplined. Their physique is not inferior to the temple sentinels."
Luis side-eyed the bulky sentinel. Gossiping? Interesting.
Adopting the sa conspiratorial whisper, he said, "Kaldini Mountain’s harsh environnt probably shaped them. You need a tight-knit community and individual strength to survive up there."
Olyn’s head popped into the whisper circle.
"My Lord, your voice was loud enough for
to hear. But that was good reasoning."
Luis froze.
"Pubic lice—was I loud?! Did they hear ?"
He looked over.
Gael and his group all had bright red cheeks.
Yes. They heard everything.
Luis wanted to dig a grave, but since he was carrying twins, he simply thickened his face.
"You guys are strong. Very impressive."
Two thumbs up.
"Thank you, My Lord!" they chorused—excited now.
Legland added, "If you’re interested, you can join the sentinels. You have the right foundation."
"U-us?!" Gael squeaked.
Their reaction was understandable. The Lightning Clan had suffered a thousand years of ostracisation due to the previous Moon Elf Lord. Attending temple training? Hard. Interclan marriage? Rarer. They were essentially isolated.
"Yes! Why not?" Luis said cheerfully.
"My Lord, the lightning clan... we—"
Luis raised a hand. "The past doesn’t matter. This is my era. I won’t let a capable clan be suppressed under my rule."
Gael’s eyes reddened imdiately, followed by the others’.
They looked ready to cry.
Luis panicked.
Shit. If Xagrien’s maybe-relative cries because of , am I unfilial?!
He signaled for backup. But Legland and Olyn were also emotional wrecks.
Of course, they were—without Luis, the moon elf race would be a scattered flock waiting to be hunted.
So Luis resorted to one of his tricks.
He knelt.
Everyone gasped.
"What I do now is nothing compared to the hardships my predecessors caused you," he said softly. "Let
give your clan a better future, to make up for your thousand-year suffering."
Chaos.
"My Lord, you’re expecting—please stand!"
"Please think of the little ones!"
The group scrambled like headless chickens. Only then did Luis let Olyn help him stand.
Much better. Tears prevented.
Luis continued, "I an every word. Now that I’m the Moon Elf Lord, I’ll unite the scattered clans and make us strong again. You, of all clans, understand the value of unity."
He t Gael’s gaze.
"I hope your clan will join us as one family."
Gael inhaled sharply.
Before they left their ho in Kaldini Mountain, all Gael wanted was to gain the favour of the Moon Elf Lord so that the centuries-old ostracism that his clan had been suffering from would disappear. He lost count of the number of prayers he uttered for that to happen.
Now, hearing their new Moon Elf Lord say that he was willing to accept their clan as a close subordinate and had grand plans for their clan’s future, he can’t help but feel warm in his chest.
Whatever the Moon Elf Lord asks him to do, he will do it in a heartbeat!
"My Lord, the entire Lightning Clan is in your hands."
Gael and his warriors dropped to their knees. Their hearts are singing with gratefulness.
This ti, Luis didn’t stop them. These n don’t look like they’re crying any more.
He studied their expression, and in his heart, he firmly carved a place for the Lightning Clan—whether or not this earnest young patriarch was related to Xagrien.
Now that their rhythm was disturbed by their mont, Luis took this opportunity to plan their trip. He put regular stops and rest in their schedule. Gael and the trackers don’t have any opinion about it because, aside from the fact that they are simply following orders, they worship Luis’ words.
This is the aftereffect of the elation that they feel from hearing the appreciation of the Moon Elf Lord in their clan. Nobody could bla them.
But on the other hand, Olyn and Legland are particularly rattled because of so issue.
It’s about to go dark now, and yet they haven’t caught up with Xagrien!
"My Lord, this is an important matter! We must hurry up before it gets dark. You need to receive the essence of your children’s father!"
For the second ti, Luis found it weird to hear other people stressing over his need to swallow cum.
Shit! Even in wildest dreams, he never dreamt of people pushing him to milk soone’s dick!
