Chapter 216: Breath of Life (1)

Woodrill City, the land that will serve as the capital city of the moon elf race and other beings that swore allegiance to the Moon Elf Lord. The plains are currently experiencing unprecedented peace and leisure. No moving huge rocks. No rolling logs and, most of all, no construction noise are heard. After the distribution of lands and residential houses, the Moon Elf Lord has proclaid a week-long rest for everyone— as seen in the bold and oversized text carved on the bulletin board. The strokes of Old Moon Elven characters are vigorous, as if it is yelling to the entire populace to use the ti off to rest and pamper themselves.

But for the Moon Elves, who hardly know the concept of pampering, they spent the day off practicing the Moonlight Circulation Technique with the hopes that they will get to improve their core and breakthrough and, at the sa ti, to reawaken their True Elents just like the Moon Goddess’ Temple head priest, Nicol.

The sight of a small sun floating above the head of this generation’s four-star warrior remained one of the most iconic scenes that their eyes laid on. That is why all of them aspire to unlock that power.

The mornings of the districts of Woodrill City were described as serene, but once the sun was about to set and the doors and windows of the new buildings were opened, Woodrill City would show its liveliness —just like now. There are Moon Elves who are setting up on mats on their balcony, ready to receive the moonlight needed for their training. anwhile, there are others who are doing physical exercise as a warm-up.

"Wait! Wait! Do not throw to that fast!" A pitiful cry of a man was heard in one of the open fields of the Lune Clan District. It was Ilian, who was currently surrounded by goofy little boys. The cheerful male moon elf has a few squiggly prints on his skin around his face and arms. His expression looked like he was in the middle of a war. Screwed his life.

That is close to what is actually happening.

Every now and then, a fast projectile is thrown at the poor chubby moon elf, and he doesn’t have a choice but to do his best to avoid it.

"Pretty Brother said we should increase the rhythm little by little, then change it back once we noticed that you are getting the hang of it, Brother Ilian," says Wendel. He montarily paused, revealing a brown ball of strewn dried vines. Its physical characteristics are close to rattan, only that it is more durable than the one from Earth.

Dodge ball. That is the training that Luis devised for Ilian to improve his flexibility and, at the sa ti, his combat sense. In human conditions, dodgeball is not close to being called training but to when it was done by these little daredevils who have the blood of a mythical azure wolf in their bloodline. It is a high-intensity full-body workout.

Wendel only said those words and started targeting Ilian again, to the chubby fellow’s despair. He swears that if this continues, all of his flesh will lt!

That is what Ilian thought as the onslaught of vine ball rained on him once again.

"No, Brother Ilian! Pretty Brother said it is important to keep a stable footing when dodging! You will easily die at this rate!" distressedly cried, but again, he threw the ball towards Ilian, who did not have ti to breathe after slightly stumbling. The other children excitedly cheered.

The ga continues.

"You guys are the death of !"

Not that far from the lively bunch of dangerous dodgeballs, Sibal and the other orcs are looking at the sight with slight smiles on their faces. They are living a good life indeed. Taking shelter in the Moon Elf Lord’s wing was the best decision they made in this life.

Yes, they missed their old tribe. But with it’s complete destruction, they can only visit it in their mories. For this reason, Sibal and the other orcs adopted the attitude to keep their eyes on their future, and it is with the Moon Elf Lord.

In a good mood, he approached the chaotic group of orc pups and moon elves.

"Alright, That is enough. Your Brother Ilian needs to go with us now. The Moon Elf Lord is calling us."

A chorus of disappointed whines reverberated.

"Wait, Moon Elf Lord... Is it Pretty Brother?" Tate’s face suddenly lit up, and Sibal couldn’t help but feel a dreadful feeling from that innocent expression.

"Yes, do you rember about the reward from the Moon Elf Lord? The Logistics group is one that was voted as the best-performing group. That is why we will be the ones to receive the weapons created by the Moon Elf Lord." Sibal simply cannot lie despite the bad feeling.

’Woah! Amazing! We won?!" The children blurted out, giddy.

Ilian chid in with an obvious breath of revenge. "What do you an we won? You are not part of any group!"

"Lies, Brother Ilian! You are bad! We did a lot of things! We played with the mud and helped you load the cart with materials."

"Right!"

"You are the added weight on the cart, you an," Ilian joked. The other adults only shook their heads with a silly smile.

Cain, one of the orcs, jokingly told their chubby buddy, "This is why the pups like to bully you, Ilian. You are giving them the reason. Rember that."

Ilian only laughed. Seeing that their Brother Ilian was only ssing with them, they marched to Sibal and shot sad puppy eyes.

This is really a bad on. Sibal thought. His eyes looked around to ask for help with his buddy, but none of the adults wanted to step up. They just give them a goofy grin.

These traitors!

"Can we co too?!" And Sibal’s hunch was proven correct.

In an instant, cries of agreent and pleadings sounded from the little pups. Even his little brother Nine begged him, "Please, brother. Can we go to Pretty Brother?

All of a sudden, he is in a bind. Sibal is helpless for his brother’s wishes. Every ti Nine asks for sothing, he does his best to give it since it is not always that Nine would voice out his wants. His baby brother is too mature to the point that it is distressing.

However, this situation is different. This is a formal business with the Moon Elf Lord, and although he is confident that The Moon Elf Lord will not find fault with them, the story differs from the standpoint of other clans.

"You know, pups—" Sibal was about to say sothing to turn down the naughty little boys but was cut off by so familiar voice.

"Let them," Koniel, the head priest assistant, appeared. A couple of moon elves escorted him in white priest robes and one armored sentinel. "Greetings, Patriarch Sibal."

"The Moon Elf Lord has sent

to guide you to where he is, so if you are ready," Koniel genially made a gesture that said to follow him.

On the other hand, Luis was silently sitting on a comfortable lounge chair while facing the calm blue waters of Woodrill Lake. His eyes were closed, and the leaf-patterned crescent moon sigil was lightened up. A powdery lasso of silver light was circling his outstretched arm.

He could feel the air vibrating to the presence of life energy flowing in his hand as if it was welcoming its presence.

Luis was studying how to effectively utilize the power of life that cos from his Life Bringer’s Sigil since he was about to do so fine experints with the weapons that he made.

It was a relatively simple experint, not complicated at all. But in this way, he could explore the possible minimum capabilities of this sigil.

Luis dared not do anything grand for now because that would be taxing. He is pregnant, and more than anyone else, he knows full well how fragile soone pregnant is during their first month. That is why he is extra careful now. It’s better to be cautious than lose a peanut later.

Luis has no plans to end up crazy in the end.

"They are here," Xagrien’s voice sounded from the side. Just like him, Xagarien is sitting in a lounge chair. But in the male god’s version, he is munching so bead-sized high-purity mana stone. The magical genius plans to form his sixth mana circle around his heart. Talk about speeding.

Luis opened his eyes, and just like what Xagrien said, hundreds of presences were approaching them at a stable speed.

Olyn witnessed the expression of his Lord, and he instantly knew what to do next. He went to his fellow servants and asked them to prepare with him the weapons that the Moon Elf Lord painstakingly made the past few days.

Everyone moved efficiently, and before the Logistics Group arrived, hundreds of weapons in varying forms were appropriately laid on the mat beside the Moon Elf Lord.

There were swords of different styles, sabers, now and arrows, lance, and spears, all made of wood. Precisely speaking, all these weapons are weapons of choice by everyone in the Logistics Group. "Perfect," Luis uttered with a smile on his face. He could feel a little nervous because of his planned experint, but most of all, he was excited.
