Rumble!!
The fairies looked upon the sky, their hunger and thirst still not quenched, their instincts luring all of their vision where the mana was the strongest, sensing the dense mana and the violent energy rumbling above them but what they thought as food, caught them with heavy pressure. A physical pressure nonetheless, stalling them down to their bone. Hands, legs, and wings pressed in a stalemate.
Alia stood up with Lily on her tow, not a bit of pressure distressing their body. Why would it, as it wasn't ant for them in the first place.
Lily gradually opened her eyes, her body now fully healed by the Saintess herself. She looked upon the sky. The rumble suddenly halting, the sky and the earth in silence. The ash again falling down, but the ashen snow wasn't alone.
"It's ti."
Within the dark clouds, the sparkle of yellow lights started to appear, all around the little gap where the ray of sunlight was still passing.
And with the ash, long lines of yellow light started to rain down, not one, not two but many more, their number uncountable to a degree, But it didn't follow its natural order falling to its gravitational point, instead, so chunked together, so with more, so less and before they knew it.
Bang!! Bang!! Bang!!
The yellow lines of light landed, straight into the giant mutilated fairies, the once small lines beheld from far away, now fully in view as ten feet long yellow arrows, piercing through all the monsters. The many chunked arrows, devastating their pitied body. Again and again and again.
Bang!! BANG!!!!
Before the mutilated monsters could eat away even a drop of mana from the long bright arrows, they wear all shredded to pieces, not just one but many more penetrating them to bits. Not just them. The ones still far away and the ones which were still under the sand, sleeping, all were penetrated to shreds.
"aaarggg!!!
Aaaa!!!!
Agstdftw!!!
So of them with a sense of pain scread, so just died off right away.
And after a couple of minutes of loud screams. The silence returned. Both Alia and Lily, looking at the many craters and the devastation her arrow attack had brought upon the land of ash and sand.
This single move took half of Lily's remaining mana and her deep concentration. She rarely used this move with how it taxed her mind and body but the situation was turning to its critical, and a decision needed to be made and the result was now before their eyes. Their complete victory.
"It's over." Alia said. "Let's go, the goddess's blessing can't withstand the toxic clouds longer. We need to finish this quick."
Both of them walked towards the broken lever ignoring all the now crushed half-dead fairies. Everywhere they looked, there were only long yellow arrows.
"Your visualization Improved" Alia comnted, gazing at the numbers and size of all the yellow arrows on the ashen earth.
"Thanks...."
They stopped near the lever, covered by the small pieces of rotten at spread around. The disgusting sll perating all over. Both of them would throw up but they were not normal won. They were warriors hardened to a level to be called upon by the Alibion itself. One a renowned priestess and one a Five-star adventurer. Such feats of destruction and holy purification were to be expected.
Lily kicked off the at laying near the lever and looked down at the broken titanium lever.
"I thought this lever had held the blast without any damage but, I guess even titanium could grow weaker after such devastation."
Alia could only nod shutting her gorgeous eyes, reminiscing the chaos it had brought, the healing center packed with dying adventurers and many innocent civilians. It was a bad mory indeed, watching her friends die, in front of her eyes one by one.
'If Atlas wasn't there to console ..I would have been more traumatized like my fellow sisters...don't worry my love, I'm coming.'
"How are we gonna use it then.." she asked.
Lily smiled, weeping out a white arrow of her own.
"I ca prepared...."
"Wait.is that. "
"Yes..a titanium arrow." She replied with a smile.
Alia was surprised to see a titanium arrow on itself. It was a rare tal owned by only the high-class royalties or people who were extrely rich.
Lily flushed so mana on her fist, tightly gripping the titanium arrow, and with the full force of her hand, pounded her sharp arrow to the handle. The arrow piercing its own kind, like butter, entering deep down.
"It's done." She said, gripping the now new handle. "How's the center?" lily asked.
Alia's eyes glowed green, gazing all around the center area, the green hue still doing its job.
"It's the sa as here."
"Ok.i hope you are right.." she said, moving the lever. The sound of the sa chanism echoing from underground.
Like before, the hole gradually opened at the center.
Both of them waited if the rookie would co out by himself, assuring he was fine but with ti ticking as it was and no sign of anyone coming out. They realized it was the worst case possible. the only thing in their mind was that He was either dead or sohow affected by the hazardous air.
"He's not coming." Lily said, a hint of worry in her eyes. She turned to her side, looking at Alia.
"You know what to do?"
Alia also turned to the center gazing at the now opened hole.
"Let's hope he's ok."
She knew the person inside was alright with the Goddess herself assuring her.
'The goal is finally in reach. That rookie will be the key to finding him, my precious, I am coming for you.' she thought, her soul echoing with eagerness.
She walked to the center, the harmful heat and radiation all thinned out, her white shield easily scuffing away the remaining thin layer of toxicities.
And finally, there she was, only a step away from the open square hole.
"Okhere I am."
She jumped down, gradually floating to the bottom, her white gown, and skirt, flaring upwards with her thick legs coming into view. The knee-high socks covering her legs to her thighs.
With the click of her shoe, she gracefully landed on the hard floor. For more protection, she hardened her white shield even more when suddenly a familiar scent stung her nostrils.
Sniffsniff..
"This familiar sll...is he here.?" She said in suspicion, her body turning excited with a single scent whiffing on her nose.
She walked forward, her patience running out as the whiff getting stronger and stronger as she walked past the sleeping Fairies. The infamous tomb was finally before her eyes but she didn't care as she searched for sothing else. Sothing which she regarded close to her heart.
And following the scent, she gazed upon a sleeping masked man beside the tomb, hidden from her eyesight.
"Wait.is he the rookie Lily and john were talking about, why does he sll like my Atlas."
Curiosity and impatience taking her over, she walked closer to if this person was alive or not. Her eyes glowing white scanning his body.
"He's mana is functioning well, well that ans he's still alive but why is this boy.giving a familiar feeling."
She was now up close, her hand slowly reaching for his mask, she wasn't soone rude to just uncover soone's hidden identity but her whole being was sohow itching to uncover that mask and gaze upon what was beneath.
Looking at his silver hair and his clearly familiar scent. Her heartbeat started running wild thinking that the rookie who she thought was the key to find her precious was the person himself.
Her heartbeat increased in rate beating faster and faster as her hand slowly reached the end of his mask. Her shaking fingertips gradually touching his black mask at his chin.
She gulped in anticipation when she finally lifted the cover, his seductive lips coming to her vision, then his cute nose, and then...
"I.Impossible..."
The mont his long white eyelashes ca into view, Atlas's eyes suddenly opened, his unique and srizing pupils clearly to be seen by Alia.
"..AmAlia." Atlas said in a half-conscious state.
The black mask fell down, as Atlas slowly woke up, lifting his own worn-out body.
Alia gazed at the older look-alike of her precious Four years old child in shock. Her silver-like eyes opening wide like never before.
"AAtlas.i..is that re..really you?" she asked, coming closer and closer. Falling deeper and deeper into his beautiful eyes.
Atlas was still in half daze, confused at what just happened and what his state was? Showing the toll it took his soul and physic took to take a journey to his Origin.
He looked back at her, rubbing his eyes trying to Cleary see, as he just woke up, he thought he had seen soone familiar, soone important just now but he wanted to confirm it again and with clear eyes, the gorgeous woman with her white long hair and white eyes wearing the familiar priest outfit ca to his vision.
His heart started beating at a rapid pace, his confusion turned into shock and his shock turning into full-on surprise.
"Alia!!" he shouted, looking eye to eye with the stunning won in front of him.
"It's really you!!!" Alia cried out, her both hand, touching his cheeks, tears slowly welling up in her white sparkling eyes.
"Al.mmnnnnn"
Before he could complete his words, she instantly covered his lips with her own, her delicate lips finally fulfilling their long-lasting wish. Atlas knew she liked him but he was in many ways surprised with his eyes wide open in shock.
She didn't leave his lips, her palms tightly gripping his face. Her lips were still on his. Imrsing in the most precious event in her life. She didn't care he was a child, a prince, or an Alibion adventurer.
The only thought in her heart and mind was
'Finally.'
After a couple of seconds, she finally let his lips go, her hands still on his cheeks and her eyes gazing at him, fully love-struck.
"I missed you, sooooo much."
Atlas didn't want to ruin this mont, so his hands also felt her soft and pale cheek. Coming closer, their forehead slightly touching each other, his heart also started beating hard in excitent. He didn't want to know what or how this happened and just be with her at this mont.
'If this is a dream then please. let be here a bit longer.' He thought.
"I missed you too.."
