"Stop! Stop! He is still alive. He's regenerating, and his power is increasing. He had used his ability on ti." I yelled at the top of my lungs as Alya and I dodged a blunt long sword heading at us with the intention to cut us in half.

The other giants were closing in.

Alya's eyes glowed bright red as she continued where I left off, "We need to retreat, Ren. You aren't strong enough to damage it. Kobi wouldn't want you to get hard." Alya tried her best to calm Ren down, but the bluntness probably made it worse.

Surprisingly, Ren listened, her painful sobs stopping with a bewildered look as she looked at Kobi again. With desperate steps, she raced to Kobi's side, pulling out his bloody, torn apart body from Kael's head.

Zhenny jumped as she noticed the giants charging at Kael. She was very close to him and didn't have fast enough reflexes or [Eye of Sanguine]'s prediction to save herself if the giants decided to attack her instead.

Now she hung by the ceiling with her long, cat-like nails inserted in the stone surface. But now, both Ren and Zhenny had stopped attacking; thus, Alyndra's gravity was much freer.

Suge's face changed as his sonic boom didn't hit Alyndra and now exploded an inch away from his face.

Zhenny, noticing, instantly raised her free hand, about to release the strongest of elental spells she could conjure, before her heart stopped beating for a mont.

All the lightning spells she had launched, hundreds of violent thunderbolts concentrating against each other, with Alya's blood she had attacked with before, rushed towards her.

Alya tried to call her blood back, but it was controlled completely by Alyndra's gravity.

Her short body instantly curled up in a ball as her bare feet launched a small fla burst, launching her almost instantaneously towards the ground as she landed at all fours, panting hard.

She rushed on all four to Alya's side, her eyes wide open with fear. Nobody could bla her; she had just avoided certain death only by a hair. The spot where the attack was was literally vaporized, replaced by a wide hole and a suffocating sll of tal burning.

With a movent of Alyndra's blue eyes, two of the giants charging at Kael turned towards Suge, who blinked while scratching his chin, naturally stopping from attacking Alyndra too.

He aid the sonic booms at wildly sprinting giants with soft smiles that made them look even scarier.

Suge slowly backed off while slowing the giants, only slightly, before he jumped against the wall behind, using a sonic boom towards the wall to launch himself towards us.

The four clones of Shen sprang into action, their eyes determined to restrain Alyndra's gravity, punching the gravitational force from different positions, quickly switching their positions from back to leg to head before they could be struck.

But it was clear from Alyndra's cocky eyes that bothered not even bother to register Shen's presence, that Shen wasn't doing much.

But, he wasn't there to do anything but one thing, "What are you doing, Lad?! It's ti to back off." Shen's real body, from beside us, shouted.

Kael's burning eyes didn't budge, his face growing more stoic by the second as Alyndra and Kael glared at each other.

"I can't," Kael replied before his fist struck Alyndra's face, stopped precisely before it could touch, though. Kael didn't stop, digging his nail in Alyndra's hand, he was already holding, instantly piercing Alyndra's skin.

Alyndra placed his free hand on Kael's chest in a one swift motion, releasing a violent gravitational attack at a very close range that instantly made Kael cough up blood.

Kael pierced Alyndra's entire hand with his finger, inserting it deeper in his flesh.

A deep exhale escaped my lips, not moving my eyes from Kael's unmoving, broad back. "That's our only option." I turned back to Alya and others.

"We need to protect Kael from the giants and survive while he holds Alyndra back. Until Subaru turns the artifact off and deals with everything here, it's all up to us."

"I can't believe you," Ren shouted and then pointed at Kobi lying lifelessly on the ground. His attack power had clearly increased a lot.

"The ugly monsters... They broke through the toughest tank there could ever be, and you want to face them? Kael needs to run away. We need to run away. We can't win."

"And I can't believe you, Ren." Zhenny suddenly interrupted before I could argue, her voice raised, "Do you think that cardinal, when at the peak of conditions, would just allow us to run away?

Kobi is still fine; his ability just wasn't on a high enough level to block the attack completely. But I am sure he regrets nothing. He will soon return stronger than ever."

Zhenny took a deep breath, "Unfortunate things happen. You can't let emotions control your decisions, Ren. Running is not a choice." She tapped Ren's trembling shoulders. "Our best chance is to put our faith in Subaru and play our part. Louis and other Alphas will be here too by then. We can go back ho."

I felt the amount of sweat covering my forehead increase significantly at her words; the fifteen minutes Subaru had his powers, and I controlled him… If my calculation is correct, only four minutes are left…

I gotta think of sothing to fight A-rank Titans and help Kael win against a kind of invincible Alyndra, head-on for one and a half minutes. All on the hopes of Subaru getting it all over before the tir runs out.

"Unfortunate things?! Are you really the person preaching this to , Zen? Emotional decisions got you stuck here with ! You shouldn't be here in the first place. Ren or Dad never asked for your help." Ren's eyes flared as she shot back.

Zhenny's face changed, "T–That's different."

"Oh? So that's different?!"

Thammm!

Before Ren could argue further, a massive fist hit the ground just an inch away from their bodies, sending everyone flying. Ten giants sprinted towards Kael with resounding, fast footsteps that caused small earthquakes.
