Kael charged forward without hesitation, leaving an arc of violent flas as he almost teleported ahead of Alyndra, spreading his flas as if intending to protect everyone behind him.

"Don't get ahead of yourself now, Midget." Alyndra smiled teasingly, chuckling at how Kael didn't dare attack him any longer.

Alyndra raised his arm, slapped empty air. As if that slap had struck the world itself, instantly, all flas began to spasm before a massive hole appeared in the perfect fla wall.

Kael's jaw widened as the flas spread everywhere behind him, without Kael able to control anything. The wind-like energy Alyndra had released was too overwhelming for Kael's not-so-perfect control to handle.

He had just gained this power, after all.

Instead of controlling them, he tried to lessen the flas, erasing most of them, but only the ones around him.

It was too late. The violent flas heading for us spread across the narrow hallway as Alyndra's invisible energy carried them forward, destroying Kael's giant fla pillars in the way as well, rushing without stopping for the surviving slaves and us.

"AHH! Stop it! Soone please!" Shouts of slaves rang out as they desperately used their abilities. They knew nothing could stop those violent flas.

Kael's face, from just one look at it, only intensified the fear as they realized Kael couldn't undo the forever-burning, till-killing-target effects of his flas.

Sweat covered my forehead as I watched Alya raise her hand and shoot her… blood at the flas. It traveled at insane speeds, like a water hose running on rocket fuel, in a pretty cool zig-zag motion.

But before it tore through the flas or at least made contact with them, Suge's deep yell resounded.

"Don't do that! You will activate the eternal burning effect of those flas if your blood makes contact with them. I can see it has your arcana signature!"

My face paled instantly. So that's how Kael's technique works… It was pretty overpowered, but this wasn't the ti to think about it.

Alya's pupils were still dilated at Suge's words as she thought about it a little more.

Right, Alya… Her regeneration could most likely outdo the fla damage, but I didn't think I could endure her body burning in imnse pain forever.

My face soon relaxed as Alya nodded confidently in my direction.

Calmly, she clasped her hands, tilting the direction, managing to barely dodge the flas as the blood smashed against the walls, tearing through them like they were made of cheese.

Suge, taking a deep breath, shot his sonic boom attack hundreds of tis in re milliseconds toward the flas.

The paw-shaped waves vanished just a mont before they made contact with the red flas, but on closer look, it was clear that they were exploding right before them, slowing the violent, flaring flas slightly.

He gave a panicked, almost pleading look before returning his focus to the flas, shooting them a few more tis. I knew what it ant instantly.

System… It's ti. I want to summon the echo. Use both the Elixir of First Dawn and Commandnt of Submission. Command is, follow all orders of Lucien Bloodborne.

My lips curled upward as I used the classic "unlimited wishes" trick, my grin only widening as the system didn't refute.

The card in my pocket shook violently as blinding light pierced out from my leather pants, blinding everyone.

"He's using it!" Kobi yelled to no one in particular as Alyndra's focus returned to .

The ground behind his right foot shook before the bricks and several feet of rocky ground were destroyed under the pressure of the sa invisible energy he used to deflect attacks and control Kael's flas.

My breath hastened as I realized what he was intending to do. The card was still just shining brightly, now exuding golden-bright rays mixed with white.

Kael moved without a word, his body vanishing from its original spot as he sprinted across the narrow hallway toward .

The violent flas were also just a few ters away as I looked at Suge, whose entire muscular body was drenched in sticky sweat, still shooting precise sonic booms toward them.

I blinked as Alyndra's figure shot up like a jet, the entire ground of the hallway behind him flying away. He had finally released the invisible energy building up in his legs.

As my eyes barely opened from the blink, Alyndra was in front of . I looked back into glowing blue eyes, unfazed, as Kael barely blocked him, pushing him a few ters away from .

Their bodies hadn't touched each other, a two-inch gap between them, but Kael's body, flaring with violent red flas, managed to push him along with the invisible barrier, holding him in place.

Alyndra's blue eyes glowed violently as his lips curled upward in a smirk. My shoulders stiffened. This motherfucker might've managed to do sothing.

I exhaled deeply as I felt the light from the card lessen considerably, my lips curling upward with an excited smile as I instinctively felt the summoning process was almost done.

[ECHO SUMMONED]

[Fallen Hero #1: Subaru Ozark][Class: Samurai]

Pleasant sounds of silver bells ringing echoed in my head as the system's sowhat sweet voice rang out.

My face brightened as my eyes went to the new face of a rather confused-looking, handso young Japanese man, a few heads shorter than , maybe five foot five, dressed in a loose black kimono with a simple yet elegant look, with two very long katanas tied to his hip, turned toward .

"Follow all orders of Lucien Bloodborne. Lucien Bloodborne." His black eyes, which were confused before, turned hollow, devoid of all emotion, as he leisurely walked toward .
