"Ayyyeee stop it, stop it you crazy bastarrrddd...stopppp"

A short, red haired boy with green eyes was latched on top Azazel, the latter was yelling with eyes wide open like he’d just run through a horror movie marathon.

To be honest he’d rather prefer that than receive the humiliation the red haired psycho was inflicting on him.

Passersby stared at them, then quickly looked away, as if the trio were unstable children in dire need of supervision.

But who could fault them, they indeed looked the part.

Nathaniel was clinging onto Azazel like a koala while pulling out his hair.

Elias on the other hand was locked between them, trying to separate the two redheads.

"Y-You let go of my hair... oi, your shoes are staining my dress, arghh let go, let go you demon." Azazel cried.

Nathaniel ignored his pleas with a growl, his eyes were full of silent rage.

Elias was tired of their theatrics, his mind wandered to a few minutes ago.

As per Azazel’s request he’d found a person called Nathaniel Taylor.

He’d spoken to him as well and had paid him an advance even though he didn’t know where they were heading to, Nathaniel had accepted because Elias had paid him a generous sum, three gold coins as a partial paynt, it was an offer he couldn’t pass up.

In fact Nathaniel seed like an easy going person, well that was until Azazel arrived.

The mont the two redheads t, Nathaniel’s personality had done a one-eighty-degree flip.

The calm easy going personality was gone, replaced by a half crazy, angry koala with a desire to tear off all hairs from Azazel’s scalp.

"Son of a duke hmmm, where’s your dad now you stupid arrogant fellow!" Nathaniel scowled, tightening his hold on Azazel’s hair.

"Hang on a minute, wait let’s talk... you were the one who spilled my ice cream, plus we don’t have ti for all these shenanigans... we’re going to a place far away from the academ— ah ahah, my hair, please for Loki’s sake, stopppp."

Elias sighed.

He’d already given up on separating Azazel and Nathaniel because truthfully, he deserved it and besides his body condition wasn’t nearly enough to stop the both of them from their bickering, so he just watched with silent amusent as Azazel was being assaulted.

Truth be told even he was enjoying the scene a little too much than he cared to admit.

After a few minutes, Nathaniel finally let go of Azazel, his eyes still shimring with rage.

Azazel reached for his hair, feeling the scalp to see if it was still attached.

When a strand of hair fell onto the cobblestone road below, Azazel nearly passed out, a bitter expression flickered on his face.

His eyes locked onto Nathaniel with resentnt but he didn’t have the luxury of being petty since they were running out of ti.

"And whose fault do you think that is!" Azazel yelled, his voice tinged with frustration.

Nathaniel looked away while Elias spoke.

"How did you two e— ah you know what, nevermind. Let guess he was being a jerk about a thing or two that wouldn’t normally require much of a reaction."

Nathaniel nodded.

"Exactly! He’s scum, can you imagine assaulting soone for spilling your ice cream."

Hearing this, Azazel couldn’t help but scowl.

"You’re forgetting the fact that you threw the first punch." He retorted.

"Well if you’d just been watching your steps to begin with you wouldn’t have spilled your dessert and you wouldn’t have ruined my day either." Nathaniel snarled.

Azazel felt his eye twitch, he had a thing or two he wanted to say to this rude short bastard but he held his tongue, his thoughts however were anything but calm.

’Well keep talking Nathaniel, enjoy the mont, once you’ve outlived your usefulness, I’ll pay you back.’

But of course he didn’t dare voice his thoughts out loud, not because he couldn’t but because it wouldn’t benefit him in any way.

He just had to tolerate Nathaniel till they were a considerable distance away from the academy.

Despite being annoying, Nathaniel was clearly a useful asset.

The previous Azazel had honed his skills using a rapier, a slender double edged weapon which favoured thrusting.

Unlike a sword, it required speed and precision which Azazel had brutally trained to acquire, so while he had an overwhelming advantage as a striker, he needed soone to tank the hits for him.

And Nathaniel was precisely that person.

With his rare rcenary class, [weapon master] he could properly utilize any weapon of his choice.

Nathaniel was a monster at weapon combat, any weapon he held could be used to a degree that would make seasoned veterans gasp in awe.

But he had a major flaw, once disard... he was cooked.

He sucked at hand to hand combat.

A weapon master without a weapon was the sa as a trickster without his tricks, Azazel knew that, and he also planned to use that knowledge to his advantage should he ever find himself on the opposite side of Nathaniel’s blade.

Or so he thought, until Nathaniel’s next words destroyed everything.

The short redhead stared at Elias with a small frown, then pointed a finger at Azazel.

"You didn’t tell he was involved, his presence changes everything, I’ll have to add a condition to our previous deal"

Azazel snapped, already moving to grab Nathaniel.

"Oh that’s the fucking last straw!"

Not only had the short stuff humiliated him by ruining his flawless appearance and stretching out his hair but he’d also demanded an extra condition to an already finalized deal.

Nathaniel shrugged.

"Cry a river." He taunted.

Elias quickly intervened before the matter could escalate.

"But we already paid you enough, your upfront paynt is an average foot soldier’s salary."

Nathaniel could only scoff in response.

"Then go et soone else, and besides I’m not asking for more money."

He allowed his gaze to settle on Azazel.

"What I want is the technique you used to flip during our confrontation, I want you to teach it to ."

Azazel froze.

Then his eyes turned bloodshot.

"T-This fucking piece of shit."
