Just as Chu Feng prepared for battle, the redness on the middle-aged man's face quickly receded, his pale cheeks once again forcing a strained smile.

"Mr. Chu Feng, there's no need to go to such lengths to provoke !" The middle-aged man shook his head, tossing a small stone into the city model beside him. Seeing the stone instantly vanish without a trace, a hint of amusent touched his suddenly raised face.

"According to the information I've collected, you co from the East. Why should you care about the lives of these Westerners?"

Chu Feng's expression remained unchanged upon hearing this. He rely glanced silently at the price of the Golden Spirit Jade Liquid in the system marketplace, then back at the city model beside the middle-aged man. Ignoring the man's foolish question, his gaze suddenly shifted back to the direction from which he had co.

"It's a shooting star!" Monte's surprised voice rang out not far away; it seed he had recovered so of his Spirit.

In the distant sky, a dazzling teor instantly streaked past. Its light was so brilliant and piercing that Monte had to shield his eyes with his hands.

So, that's its purpose?! Confirming his suspicion, Chu Feng observed the city model beside the middle-aged man, his fingers twitching lightly.

The next second, his figure vanished. With a LOUD BANG, the middle-aged man's figure shot into the castle ruins. Chu Feng, however, appeared where the middle-aged man had just been standing.

Standing beside the city model, Chu Feng scanned its features: collapsed hospital buildings, crashed airplanes, broken bridges... and the tiny, busy puppets moving within the city! This wasn't rely a city model; upon closer inspection, it was practically a miniature world!

Such a treasure was sothing Chu Feng naturally couldn't leave for the Bizarre. Placing his palms on either side of the city model, with a re thought, the exquisite model instantly appeared in his Storage Space.

But the next second, his brow furrowed slightly. I still thought it was too simple!

The city model he had just stored reappeared, fell to the ground, and shattered into countless pieces. Averting his gaze from the useless fragnts on the ground, Chu Feng slowly turned his head toward the castle ruins. The city model, though seemingly shattered, now hovered intact before the middle-aged man.

"I can forgive your shaless surprise attack, but you must sign a contract with . Do that, and I will spare your life. How about it?" The middle-aged man regarded Chu Feng indifferently, his hand slowly sweeping over the city model, his tone laced with threat.

The city, once filled with skyscrapers, instantly dissolved into dust within the model. Amidst the swirling particles, the ruins of a castle appeared, mirroring the ones before Chu Feng; even the surrounding environnt was perfectly replicated. Clearly, if Chu Feng's response failed to satisfy him, the teor that had just passed would descend upon this very spot.

"..."

Chu Feng didn't reply. He simply brushed back a stray lock of hair a light breeze had tousled on his forehead. His silence and nonchalant gesture spoke volus: No matter what you say, I consider it all hot air.

The middle-aged man clearly understood his unspoken answer, and his face darkened instantly. With an outstretched palm, the pitch-black notebook materialized in his hand.

"Then we can only say goodbye, damned yellow-skinned monkey!" With a few quick SWISHES of his pen, the middle-aged man wrote Chu Feng's na into the pitch-black notebook.

The next second, a lifelike puppet of Chu Feng suddenly appeared within the model floating in mid-air.

"Don't worry, I'll make your death quick!" Knowing that a common accident couldn't threaten this Exorcist, the middle-aged man decided to act personally. His fingers, twinkling faintly, t an invisible resistance as they slowly reached for the lone puppet—Chu Feng's effigy—within the model.

Simultaneously, a colossal, pillar-like object began to materialize in the sky above Chu Feng, its target precisely the defiant figure standing below. The invisible pressure from the sky made Chu Feng feel his body suddenly grow heavy, the ground beneath his feet sinking several inches with a CRUNCH. Even as Monte stared, aghast, at the massive object in the sky, the figure directly beneath it silently vanished.

"Are your attacks always this cumberso?" The sudden, cold voice behind the middle-aged man made his expression change drastically. His finger, still reaching for the model, had no ti to react before an imnse force slamd down on his head.

"Damn it—" With another LOUD BANG, the middle-aged man's figure once again plunged into the ruins beneath his feet.

Ignoring the man's disheveled state, Chu Feng now held a sowhat crudely made Array Plate in his hand. The Array Plate for the True Sun Blazing Fire Formation was the fruit of his recent Closed-door Cultivation. Though it appeared sowhat rough, its power was not to be underestimated.

As he tossed it into the sky, a dry heat instantly suffused the surrounding air. Faint, crimson ripples pulsed through the space, and amidst the shimring haze, an indistinct, bird-like cry could almost be heard.

"Chu Feng, you've truly angered now!" Accompanying this furious roar, the world suddenly plunged into imnse darkness.

Chu Feng looked up. Countless dark, low-hanging storm clouds were roiling across the entire sky. RUMBLES of thunder echoed as dazzling bolts of lightning zigzagged through the clouds. It was as if legions of thunder dragons were rampantly venting their fury.

Amidst this terrifying scene, Chu Feng suddenly realized the lightning bolts were beginning to converge, slowly moving toward him. WHOOSH! Looking down, he saw the middle-aged man, who had just crawled from the ruins, now completely transford.

His head was now a skull with a pair of goat horns, from which a dim green light emanated. His lower body was composed of flickering, indistinct black mist. His right hand had completely lded into another, newer model, transforming into a swirling black gas. Within this ink-like miasma, countless dazzling sparks of lightning flickered. The cold, electric light cast the skull's features in a particularly fierce and ferocious glow.

"Go to hell!" With a deep howl, countless bolts of lightning crashed down, instantly turning Chu Feng's surroundings into a veritable Thunder Pond.

Heavenly Thunder Body Refinent, is it? Chu Feng, who had already discreetly activated his Vajra Glazed Body, relished the tingling, strangely comfortable sensation coursing over his skin. A sudden, uninhibited laugh escaped him.

His Vajra Glazed Body, which hadn't progressed for a long ti, actually stirred slightly under the bombardnt of this mundane lightning. Watching the arcs of electricity dance over his skin, his eyes filled with delight.

The only downside, perhaps, was that the True Yuan within his body was being consud a tad too quickly.
