The villa's basent housed a specially modified room. ᴛhis chapter is ᴜpdated by novel⟡fire

Los Manchini lay on the bed, clutching a silver cross tightly. In his dream, he suddenly heard soone faintly calling his na.

"Los... Los..."

Jolted awake, Los shrank back in terror.

Only when the voice from outside gradually beca clearer did his expression slowly relax.

It's Dad's voice!

"Dad! I'm still here, nothing's wrong!"

As soon as Los's voice was heard, the calling from outside suddenly stopped. A strange silence instantly enveloped the surroundings.

This sudden quietness made the blond boy's heart pound with unease. He didn't understand why his father had stopped speaking.

He slowly walked to the golden door engraved with various Runes, wanting to check on his father.

The next second, his father's voice sounded again, much clearer this ti, as if the person had co closer.

"Los, open the door and co out. We're safe now!"

Hearing the familiar voice from outside, the blond boy inside the room retreated slowly, his face filled with terror.

No, that's definitely not Dad outside!

"Los! Los! Co on, open the door…" The voice outside kept calling, its tone growing increasingly desperate.

"Hurry up! What are you waiting for? The security guards have killed those Bizarre things!"

"No! You're not my dad! Get away…"

The blond boy shouted, his voice hoarse as he exposed the impostor outside.

After his shout, the basent fell silent once again, as if the owner of the voice had left.

Los was contemplating what had happened outside. Suddenly, the door in front of him emitted a loud bang, as if soone was slamming against it fiercely.

With a BANG, the door, made from an unknown alloy, trembled slightly. The Runes on its surface suddenly lit up.

Following a HISS, a wretched howl ensued.

"It's the Bizarre! It's the Bizarre!…"

Los looked at the glowing Runes on the door and instantly recalled his father's words.

If the Runes on this door and the surrounding walls glowed, then the thing outside was definitely a Bizarre.

「At this mont, just outside the tal door.」

A shadowy figure looked at its half-charred arm, its dark eyes filled with malice.

And around it, the scene was a bloody red.

Severed limbs and chunks of flesh lay scattered about, and a foul, bloody stench was slowly spreading.

「In another villa far away,」

George, who had just relocated, was comforting his wife and their newborn son.

He was now staring at the screen in front of him, cursing angrily.

"Damn it! Where did this Bizarre co from!"

He had planned to evacuate his eldest son as well but hadn't expected this sudden turn of events.

The screen showed the last images captured by a surveillance cara before it was destroyed by the Bizarre.

The Exorcist he had hired for a hefty sum was completely powerless against this Bizarre creature that had appeared so unexpectedly.

In just a mont, they had been entirely slaughtered.

By his side stood a group from the Exorcism Agency.

Touk, having watched the surveillance footage, touched his specially made gauntlets. A hint of fighting spirit flashed in his eyes.

Looks like a Low Rank Evil Spirit! My chance to beco a Seventh Level Exorcist is here!

However, Samor, who had co with him, frowned. "Touk, are you sure you can do this alone? This is no ti for grandstanding!"

The other Fifth Level Exorcists also chid in:

"That's right. Safety first!"

"We took this commission together, so of course, we go in together!"

"..."

Touk looked at the several people around him and curled his lip.

He was well aware of what these guys were really thinking!

Although his Exorcism Agency certification level was higher than theirs, he had no authority to command them.

"Have you all forgotten sothing? The commission we accepted is a protection detail. Please recall what Manager Taran said during our last eting. As for rescue operations…"

Touk spread his hands, his words causing the others to falter in surprise.

Realizing his aning, they nodded and turned their gazes to Mr. George at the side.

"Wait a minute…" Mr. George, who had been impatiently hoping they would take action, listened to this, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"Are you saying… I need to submit another commission?"

"Mmm-hmm." The group spread their hands in perfect unison and nodded.

"My God! What kind of boss has employees like these…"

Mr. George's face was a mask of incredulity. He gestured to his butler to quickly contact the Agency, fuming.

"Fuck! I'm going to make a suggestion to your Agency: Mammon should be your emblem! This is utterly preposterous!"

"..."

"Elias has already gone to do it! Gentlen, can you move out imdiately? Stop wasting ti here!"

Mr. George's face was crimson as he bellowed, barely restraining himself from drawing his gun.

Touk and the others were inwardly amused to see the real estate tycoon so agitated. However, they calmly looked down at the ssage that had just arrived on their handhelds.

"Okay! Mr. George, please await our good news!"

"I just hope you can send that damned Bizarre back to Hell quickly and rescue Los!"

Having lost all patience, Mr. George went straight to the door and pushed it open, urging them to act quickly.

Touk and Samor exchanged a look, a flicker of amusent in their eyes, before Touk led the way out.

As they walked towards the Bizarre's location, none of them showed the slightest hint of nervousness. They even joked about the scene back at the villa.

"Man, that was great! We finally taught those damn scoundrels a lesson!"

"Damn, the price of that house I was eyeing has doubled, all thanks to these damn profiteers…"

"Rent is rising too. After my villa's lease expires, I'll probably have to move!"

"..."

Along the way, they chatted more and more animatedly—as if they were heading out on a picnic.

When they arrived outside the villa, now shrouded in a Bizarre aura, their conversation ceased instantly.

It was as if they had all transford in an instant. Their faces beca etched with seriousness and gravity.

This abrupt shift stunned Mr. George, who was still rubbing his forehead as he watched the surveillance screen.

The next second,

the previously clear image on the screen shook and then went completely dark.

"What's happening?"

The butler, who had returned, quickly checked the equipnt.

"Sir, it seems the Bizarre is interfering with the signal, just like with the basent surveillance..."

"Damn it!" Anxious, George slamd his fist on the table, venting his frustration.
