Chu Feng, understanding her intention, got straight to the point.

"So? Are you asking for my help?" Chu Feng asked with a faint smile, his eyes fixed on her beautiful, deep blue pupils.

"Uh… yes, that's right!"

Selina, not expecting Chu Feng to guess her intentions so accurately, was montarily at a loss.

"Actually, Portland could have sent a commission request directly to my office. If it were suitable, I would have accepted it."

"We did send an email, but your office replied that they would only consider our commission after you completed the one from the federal governnt."

"Moreover, they said it would have to wait with commissions from other states for your selection..."

Selina's tone carried a faint plea. Her intent was clear: she wanted to ask Chu Feng to personally take on their commission.

Is there really a selection step for commissions? Chu Feng was skeptical of Selina's words. He always seed to sort them by price!

However, after completing the federal governnt's commission, he could indeed take care of Portland's as well. That would save a lot of ti.

"Alright. If this current commission goes smoothly, I'll look into that vampire-like Bizarre."

"Thank you so much, Mr. Chu Feng!" Selina was overjoyed by his response. If she hadn't been driving, she probably would have imdiately jumped out to give him a big hug.

After dropping Chu Feng off at the hotel, a delighted Selina, still in her car, imdiately took out her cell phone. She needed to report this good news to her superiors.

But when she unlocked her phone, the ssage displayed made her freeze on the spot.

"Alert! All mbers of Police Action Squad Two confird deceased!"

Police Action Squad Two? Isn't that my team?

In disbelief, Selina quickly checked the ssages on her phone.

Confird to be an unknown Bizarre... not a vampire!

All residents in the building are dead!

Several Exorcists confird dead!

...

The barrage of bad news instantly wiped away every trace of joy from Selina's heart.

If I hadn't co to pick up Mr. Chu Feng today, then...

The fear of death made Selina's hand tremble, and her phone slipped onto the passenger seat beside her.

As Selina reached for her phone, her palm brushed the passenger seat, and a thought seed to strike her.

She looked toward the hotel's main entrance and happened to see Chu Feng's receding figure as he left.

...

In the underground base of the Holy Advent Society on Portland's outskirts, Sirio gazed at the figure before him—a form seemingly coalesced from blood—his eyes wide with surprise.

"Heloise, you've truly given a wonderful surprise! Completing the transformation ritual in such a short ti!"

Hearing Sirio's praise, the blood-red figure giggled softly.

Blood-red light pulsed around her, and in the blink of an eye, she transford into an alluring beauty with flowing, blood-red hair.

"Lord Sirio, I must also thank those humans and Exorcists for their contributions."

"Indeed, they certainly deserve our thanks!" Sirio said, affectionately stroking Heloise's hair.

Yet, his eyes held no lust, only a raw desire he knew as greed.

Since you've been so eager to complete the transformation, I can't let your kindness go to waste, can I?

From an angle Heloise couldn't see, a slender crimson thread suddenly materialized in Sirio's palm.

The crimson thread twisted and writhed. With a subtle movent from Sirio, it vanished in an instant, burrowing into Heloise's blood-red hair.

"Go now. Digest this well. From now on, you will take Claudia's place," Sirio said with a smile, patting her head again.

Gazing at the Priest's deep blue eyes and handso face, a flicker of infatuation unexpectedly shone in Heloise's own.

Hearing his words, she nodded eagerly, again and again.

Wonderful! I'll be Lord Sirio's right hand from now on!

Claudia, I really want to thank you properly!

As the alluring beauty vanished through the doorway, the corners of Sirio's mouth curved into a slight smirk.

"Heh. Another fool!" he scoffed.

With a soft scoff, he turned eagerly to the goat-head bas-relief on the wall.

With a light wave of his hand, a red glow flashed.

The goat-head bas-relief suddenly slid apart, revealing a dark passage leading down.

"It's finally ti to begin!"

Sirio's figure disappeared into the passage. The sound of his footsteps echoed as he soon arrived in a pitch-dark underground space.

His arrival seed to trigger a switch. The surrounding darkness of the underground space was instantly banished by a ring of fire, illuminating the entire area as if it were day.

As his vision adjusted, a perfectly circular chamber unfolded before him.

On the flat, circular stone floor, a perfect ring was engraved with tiny, mysterious Runes, radiating from a central point.

At the center of the ring was a massive Hexagram.

And at the center of the Hexagram stood a stone throne.

The throne was carved with countless bas-reliefs of Demons from Hell.

The fierce Demon carvings made the massive throne seem exceptionally majestic and terrifying.

Before it stood a raised stone platform.

The platform wasn't large; it looked just big enough to hold an open book the size of a dictionary.

Around the throne, in the empty spaces of the Hexagram, several large, bizarre Runes were etched, encircling the throne.

"After preparing for so long, the day has finally co!"

Sirio stepped up to the stone platform. He opened his palm, and a dense red light erged from it.

Within the dazzling red light, a pitch-black book, radiating an ominous aura, slowly materialized.

As the red light faded, Sirio, holding the pitch-black book, carefully placed it onto the stone platform.

As if it were returning to its rightful place, the mont the dark to settled onto the center of the platform, the entire structure began to emanate a faint red glow.

Countless strange patterns suddenly appeared, spreading over the entire platform in the blink of an eye.

The next second, the nurous Runes carved into the ground also began to emit a faint red glow.

Watching the changes on the stone platform, Sirio fought back the urge to open the book. He took several steps back, let out a long breath, and then an unrestrained smile spread across his face.

"Next, we need the beautiful Miss Rachel to make her appearance!"

...

This presence?

On the main street, Chu Feng narrowed his eyes, looking toward the eastern part of the city. An intensely dark and Bizarre presence, exceptionally conspicuous, was drawing ever closer.

From his first encounter with a Bound Spirit until now, this was the first ti he had sensed such a brazen Bizarre entity.

It made no attempt to conceal its aura. On the contrary, it seed to fear that others might *not* sense it, brazenly flaunting its existence.

Could it be him?

Gazing in the direction of the Bizarre presence, Chu Feng pondered for a mont. Then, the Spiritual Wings on his back unfurled with a sudden beat, and he shot into the sky.

Whether it was him or not, he'd find out by going over.
