Just as Representative Julia looked around in horror, almost wanting to run away, Mr. Speaker approached her from behind. He, who usually had difficulty even walking, now strode firmly from the Speaker's seat, carrying a briefcase. He placed it on the table before her and opened it with a SNAP.

Julia couldn't help but gaze at the now-open briefcase.

Inside, cushioned by black foam, were just three items arranged neatly.

A thumb-sized vial containing a vibrant green liquid.

A flat, circular piece the size of a chess piece, which appeared to be a clear and transparent Crystal.

The last item was a pure white face mask, with a transparent Crystal the size of a fingernail embedded in its forehead.

"These... these things?"

"Yes, they're for you! As long as you choose to join us," Mr. Speaker nodded gently, his eyes steadily on Representative Julia.

"What are all these things? Why give them to ? Join you... what organization are you?" At this mont, panic and a multitude of questions were all that filled Julia's heart.

"This... this is good stuff!" Mr. Speaker said, his voice faltering for a mont. He then personally picked up the small vial with the green liquid and handed it to Julia.

"Julia, you should know, that feeling of gradually aging and weakening with ti... it's just too unbearable!"

Mr. Speaker looked at the small vial in his hand, his eyes filled with fervor.

Looking at the sowhat crazed and unfamiliar Speaker before her, Julia shook her head frantically and staggered backward, her whole body radiating resistance.

Finally, her peripheral vision caught a figure in the front row on the left side of the parliantary seats. Like grasping a lifeline, her eyes filled with hope.

"Mr. Smith, please help ! It was you who asked to propose this bill!"

In the parliantary seats, a refined elderly man in a well-fitting suit, slender and stern-faced, heard Julia's plea. A flicker of struggle passed through his eyes, only to be quickly replaced by determination.

"Representative Julia, I'm sorry!"

"No!" Julia shook her head in disbelief.

I'm just the executor of the plan; surely you are the mastermind behind this!

How could such a thing happen in this world?

For a mont, Julia felt her sanity being assaulted like never before.

Julia would never have imagined that on the very evening they had conspired about the bill, Mr. Speaker, accompanied by several mbers and carrying a briefcase, had visited Smith's ho and stayed for a long while before leaving.

And so, this scene unfolded today.

"Well? Does it seem absurd? Does everything feel like a dream?" Mr. Speaker, who had sohow drawn close, held the small vial in his hand.

"You might as well consider it a dream!"

Mr. Speaker's voice was magnetic. His gentle words carried a certain magical strength, and Julia's emotions gradually cald, though her eyes remained filled with confusion.

"Julia, be good. Drink it!" Mr. Speaker's paternal voice sounded very much like Julia's father, who had passed away many years ago. That warm, peaceful sensation made her helplessly imrse herself in it.

Unconsciously, the opened vial had found its way into Julia's hand.

Then, after a swallowing sound, THUD. The empty glass vial dropped straight to the ground.

"No, why?" Startled by the sound, Representative Julia couldn't believe her eyes as she looked at the empty vial on the floor, not understanding how she had drunk its contents.

But imdiately after, she lost the ability to continue thinking, as a sudden, severe pain swiftly overwheld her mind.

Julia, sixty-five years old and already frail, was overco by the shock and the intense pain in her head. Her body went limp, and she fell to the floor with a THUMP.

She clutched her throbbing head with both hands. If not for a strange strength slowly welling up within her, she might have already passed out.

Mr. Speaker, standing by her side, silently stopped circulating his Spiritual Power. He looked at his own hands—not exactly smooth and tender, but definitely still quite young—and muttered to himself, "Every ti I use this odd ability, it makes feel even more that my initial choice was indeed a wise one!"

In just a mont, Representative Julia, who had been lying on the ground in agony, slowly lowered her hands.

A sensation of unprecedented comfort washed through her, keeping her lying on the ground for a long while without getting up.

The sensation of comfort was intense, several tis more potent than any pleasure she had experienced, even her first taste of the forbidden fruit.

And what was that warm, soothing flow in her body? It seed like she could control it!

Julia had thought she would et her end today. Now, her mind was suddenly filled with countless questions.

Eagerly, she pressed her hands to the ground, attempting to stand up.

But as soon as her palms touched the ground, the strength that surged through her arm muscles and into her awareness took her by surprise.

What is this?

She sat up abruptly and brought her hands before her face. Looking at her skin, now so much smoother, her expression filled with shock, and a hint of joy flickered in her eyes.

She tentatively touched her cheek. A silky smoothness t her fingertips, the sensation traveling through her skin and into her mind.

I've beco younger! I really have beco younger!

Exhilaration instantly flooded her heart. Looking at the glass vial still lying on the ground, she picked it up, treasuring it. All her previous resistance had vanished.

"What is this? Is there more?" she asked, looking up eagerly at Mr. Speaker.

Mr. Speaker hadn't expected Julia to react this way. He chuckled and shook his head.

"There is only one vial for each person," he said, watching her enthusiasm fade. He continued, "However, if you wish to beco even younger, you might want to try pressing this to the spot between your eyebrows."

As he spoke, Mr. Speaker took the second item from the briefcase—the chess piece-sized crystal—and handed it to Julia, who had already stood up.

"Just this?" Julia asked. She took the crystal and examined it closely in her palm but didn't notice anything special.

But eting Mr. Speaker's gentle gaze, she couldn't help but press the crystal to the spot between her eyebrows.

The next second, Julia seed to lose consciousness instantly. Her body went limp as if to fall, but Mr. Speaker, standing beside her, caught her just in ti.

With the help of the Deputy Speaker, who had also appeared beside them at so unknown mont, the two of them gently laid Julia down on the floor.
