The cannon fodder's revenge (BL) Chapter 85 - 8.8 Mystic Warfare

In the morning a van from Mystic Warfare ca to pick up A-Xuan. He handed them his luggage and took a seat.

They were already a caraman following him. He fild the building as if asking how can an orphan live in this kind of place. Actually, the whole realm was.

A week before the start of the show the participants were made public. They did a short video presenting themselves. A-Xuan told the truth about the original, how he was an orphan and how hard it was to grow up alone.

Like that when the whole realm finds out what his father and brother did they’ll be even more sympathetic.

Furthermore, the law is very strict. Death is basically what awaits you if you kill soone or try to, royalty or not.

Seeing how powerful he is he doesn’t want anyone to think he’s just doing what he wants. He wants them to think that he killed Ming and Yanzhao because of their cris, not revenge.

The witches watching felt their hearts soften when they saw how nervous and uncomfortable he was.

A-Xuan used CF to see the response online. Like I’ll ever yield. Ming will never yield either and that’s what he’s counting on to end him.

A-Xuan was driven to a stadium. He entered the field and looked at all the empty seats. The stadium was huge, it could hold more than 30 000 witches.

In the middle on both sides of the field was the royal platform for the king and royals, on the other was the platform of the president of the show and the technicians.

The technicians make sure that when the battle starts the do is on, that the feed is live and they also make sure there are no glitches.

There was also a platform for the participants to watch when they weren’t the ones battling. A-Xuan looked at the royal platform narrowing his eyes. Soon enough I’ll deal with you.

When every participant arrived the host ca and explained:

"Welco Witches. This is the do, right now it just looks like a simple field but once the cloak is on they will be no going out. Unless you yield of course."

Ming sneered in his heart. He is the heir to the throne he has to show the whole realm that he is strong, how is he going to do that if he yields?

He felt soone looking at him and his eyes t A-Xuan’s. He had a smile on, he genuinely thinks they are friends. Brother, how can you be so stupid?

He smiled back and they both looked at the host when he talked again.

"You’ll be staying in the mansion while you pass multiple rounds. The training center is open 24/7. If you have any issue you can call for an assistant and she’ll be able to put you in relation with the president. His office is at the top of the training center so if it’s urgent you’ll be able to get in touch with him quickly. All your luggage has been sent to the mansion so you can all train for tonight. So of you will have your first round today so if I were you I would run there instead of lounging near the pool."

They all followed an assistant who led them to the house. A-Xuan looked around and he was impressed with what Huang Xing did.

Behind the stadium, was the mansion hidden and the training center. Everything was within walking distance. He walked faster than the others and picked a single room.

Even if he has to be stuck here for a few days there’s no way in hell he’ll share a room. The participants started to run around looking for a single room or a room for two.

A-Xuan had his bedroom door closed but every few seconds soone would co in thinking no one had found the room so he left it wide open.

Ming was running around with Li Dagou looking for a two-person room but they were all taken. He walked into the dormitory looking around horrified.

How can he share a room with 7 people when he lived in the palace his whole life? He walked down looking for A-Xuan. He saw that he had found the only single room in the house.

When he entered he looked around but couldn’t see anyone. He walked in deeper and saw that A-Xuan was in his bathroom tidying up his product.

He even has a bathroom for himself? He sat on the bed waiting for him to be done. A-Xuan walked out and was startled to see him on his bed.

He smiled and said:

"Hello, your highness."

Ming gritted his teeth in rage. He had already told him to call him Ming to avoid that.

When witches found out that he was called Ming by everyone his reputation got a lot better it made him seem humble.

Ming looked at the caraman and coughed looking back at A-Xuan.

"A-Xuan I already told you you can call Ming."

A-Xuan tilted his head and asked confused:

"But you said I should call you your highness when it’s just the two of us. Unless you don’t mind calling you Ming always like everyone now?"

Ming laughed awkwardly and he grabbed A-Xuan by the shoulders.

"What are you talking about? We’re friends first of course you should always call Ming."

A-Xuan smiled sweetly and nodded. Ming looked at his eyes, they were shining brightly and he seed excited about being allowed that. If he didn’t know how truly naive he was he would think he planned all of this.

Ming smiled and sat back on the bed.

"You chose the perfect room."

A-Xuan smiled putting his clothes in the closet.

"How is your room?"

"I’m in the dormitory, all the two-person bedrooms were taken."

"How many beds are there?"

"8."

A-Xuan smiled in his heart. He knew he was here to take his room but he’ll never let that happen. He turned smiling.

"You’re lucky."

Ming smiled, he knew that fool would offer him the room on a silver platter. He generously offered:

"We can switch if you want."

A-Xuan’s smile vanished and he looked down sad.

"I can’t share a room easily with other people."

Ming looked at the caran excitedly, if he can destroy his reputation before he dies it would be even better.

He asked worriedly:

"Why?"

"I-I have night terror sotis because of what happened to when I was a baby. It happens when I share a room with people I don’t know. In the orphanage, they would always make sleep in the barn because of that."

A-Xuan lifted his head and bit his lip to stop himself from crying. He gave a forced smile and said:

"When I said you’re lucky I ant that at least you can share a room with people and get to know them better without them hating you."

A-Xuan closed his closet and after excusing himself he locked himself in the bathroom. The caraman looked at the door sadly. The realm felt heartbroken for him.

They can’t understand how soone who’s been through so much can be this pure. Ming looked at the caraman filming the closed door and left.

So what even a door closed by A-Xuan is more interesting than a prince? He hates that he allowed him to make himself look like a martyr. He knows how the realm eats this kind of thing. He left upstairs to unpack.

A-Xuan looked at the comnts smiling. The saddest part is that what he said was all true. The original had night terror because he was afraid soone would find out he’s a mage.

When it was too much they would make him sleep in the barn. A-Xuan also plans on dealing with that orphanage that’s why he’ll tell his experience in front of the whole realm.

When A-Xuan got out he took a step back flustered. He said:

"Sorry I didn’t see you."

The caraman smiled and mouthed it’s okay. A-Xuan smiled and left for the training center. The caraman didn’t follow him since the whole building is installed with caras there.
