Yan Hao looked around the huge room. He took the chair closest to him and smashed it against the wall. He roared:
"What the fuck happened, why is your base filled with corpses?"
Gao Wei, who was trembling in anger, said:
"I checked their cellphone; they all received a ssage from telling them to co so the vampire responsible could kill them all at once."
"How could they receive a ssage from you if you had your cell phone with you?"
Gao Wei hung his head, and his hands clenched into fists.
"I don’t know."
Yan Hao grabbed him by the neck and threw him against the wall, howling:
"You’re fucking useless!"
Gao Wei got up and looked at him with anger. He shouted:
"Do you think I wanted to lose all my comrades? Do you know how hard I worked to get this many who didn’t believe in the peace treaty? Everyone thinks Yan Wang is a fuckin hero for going into bright slumber for us descendants!"
Yan Hao punched the wall, leaving a hole in it. He said after calming down:
"Now that Yan Wang is back, the whole kingdom is celebrating. We will never get any more vampires to join us."
He walked around thinking:
"I have a plan. You better not get yourself killed until I need you."
Gao Wei said full of determination:
"I won’t; if whoever did this cos to get , I have a poisoned dagger that can even kill the strongest vampire. It won’t leave my side."
Yan Hao nodded and said before leaving:
"Get a new cellphone and send a ssage. After that, get yourself into hiding until I contact you."
The next day before going to the council eting, Yan Hao asked Yan Ning:
"Are you receiving A-Xu’s essence?"
"I have; the amulet you got is incredible. I receive 10 tis the amount I used to receive. In a week, he’ll be entirely siphoned."
Yan Hao smiled and walked to the main palace. The council was all assembled except Yan Wang, A-Xuan, and Yan Lo. While waiting for so long, Yan Hao gritted his teeth to stop himself from yelling and destroying the throne.
Yan Wang, enjoy your life; very soon you’ll go into dark slumber. When he heard a sound, he looked at the doors. Yan Wang entered leisurely with A-Xuan behind him.
Yan Lo walked to his seat and smiled at the council mbers loyal to the king. A-Xuan stood beside the throne and smiled at his father.
Yan Hao smiled back. After losing every radical except the leader, he only has A-Xuan left to rein in Yan Wang.
After the council mbers reported all the news from the kingdom, A-Xuan knelt and looked at Yan Wang. He asked:
"Your majesty, may I make a request? I have a plan that can help the kingdom."
Yan Wang said curiously:
"You may stand; tell your plan."
A-Xuan stood up and said energetically:
"I have a factory that specializes in high-tech products. They’re even more advanced than the ones the humans sell. If your majesty could find workers, they could produce them based on my blueprints. We could sell them to humans, and after a while, we could build a factory on the human’s land. It would make the kingdom a lot of money and create employnt for the vampires. It would revitalize the kingdom’s economy."
Yan Hao gaped at his son. They just had a conversation yesterday, and like a fool, he believed him. He sent him so he would stop the king from creating more occasions to exchange with the humans.
But he wants to exchange technology with them. They’re vampires; they shouldn’t depend on technology so much, let alone sell more to those puny humans.
Yan Hao, enraged, shouted after banging on the table:
"You bastard, what is wrong with you? Why would you help humans advance their technology? Why would you want to build a factory there? Why would we help them with anything?"
A-Xuan put on a pouting face as he looked at Yan Wang. He smiled, he pulled A-Xuan on his lap, and circled his waist.
A-Xuan nuzzled on his chest.
"So do you agree?"
"I do, Baby V."
A-Xuan looked at him with a grin and gave him a peck. The whole council except Yan Lo gaped as Yan Hao did before. They all stared shocked out of their mind.
They couldn’t believe Yan Wang, the god of death, could be this affectionate to soone. It’s clear that he dotes on A-Xuan deeply.
The king fell so easily for A-Xuan’s cute pouting face. If he doesn’t like any of them, he can destroy them so easily.
A-Xuan asked Yan Wang while looking at the council mbers loyal to Yan Hao with a cruel smile:
"Can I kill any council mber I wish to? Everyone who isn’t loyal to you should die."
The council mbers concerned sucked in a breath; they didn’t miss his threat. They know how strong he is; they could be dead in a matter of seconds. A-Xuan smiled and looked at Yan Wang, batting his long eyelashes.
Yan Wang kissed his cheek and answered with a smile:
"Of course, my love; anything you desire is yours."
A-Xuan smiled as he looked at Yan Hao’s red face filled with anger.
"Good."
Yan Hao just wanted to run across the table and kill him. That bastard actually managed to seduce the god of death?
He started breathing rapidly but cald down when he rembered that in a week he’ll be depleted of his essence. As soon as he turns human, he’ll be dead.
Yan Wang ordered:
"You may leave, council mbers."
Everyone left except Yan Lo. He looked at A-Xuan, who responded with a sweet smile; he looked so innocent and pure that you wouldn’t think just a few minutes ago he threatened council mbers.
Yan Lo chuckled.
"You’re very scary when you want to."
A-Xuan said as a matter of fact:
"Anyone who dares to go after Yan Wang should die."
Yan Lo laughed and said before leaving:
"You’re very possessive."
A-Xuan smiled and looked at Yan Wang, informing:
"Yan Hao plans on using the leader of the radicals, Gao Wei, to kill you with a poisoned dagger. When I find out when, I’ll set a trap for him."
Yan Wang tightened his hold.
"I can handle him. You already killed all the radicals; let deal with him."
A-Xuan held his chin and threatened:
"I don’t want you anywhere near him. If you are, you won’t want to see ever again. Do you understand?"
Yan Wang started to pout, which made A-Xuan laugh. This doesn’t work on , dear husband... Okay, maybe a little bit. He looked at him and said seriously:
"I have a personal grievance against him, so let deal with him."
Yan Wang sighed.
"Okay but... Just be careful."
"I will, my love."
Gao Wei is the assassin father and son sent to kill the original. A-Xuan will make sure he looks into his eyes before dying. He wants him to know who killed him.
