When Erys woke up, he wanted to leave before A-Xuan did, but he had a tight hold on him. Still, he felt reluctant to let go of him. He can’t explain it, but since that eting in his office, he feels this pull to him.
At first, when he followed him after the eting he told himself, it was because he was keeping sothing from him, so he decided to go on the scavenging mission, but he knows it was never about that.
When he saw A-Xuan running to them when they were fighting zombies, he was stressed, when it never happened before. He is the most powerful user, so he’s never been scared or worried, but for the first ti yesterday, he was.
Because A-Xuan was there, and sothing could’ve happened to him, so he felt relief when he saw that he was just as powerful as he is. He also has three abilities, he just never said anything.
After fire, he has lightning and dark. His last ability is dark, but he doesn’t know how to use it. All he knows is that he can siphon any dark elents.
A-Xuan knows he also has three abilities, and that right now he doesn’t know how to use the last one. In the OG TL, after he got a hold of it he was able to command zombies.
Erys is basically the zombie king. The uni base thanks to him expanded, and beca a city. Everyone lived well since they were protected by him.
After watching him for a while, Erys stood up and left to take a shower. A-Xuan sat up with a smile on his face. After asking a water ability user to fill buckets, he took a shower and joined everyone when he was done.
They quickly are and left for the uni base, this ti A-Xuan rode with Erys. Maddox watched his retreating back with anger. He already knows that Erys joined him last night.
He heard sounds of soone going downstairs, and when even after 30 minutes he still didn’t hear soone coming up he went to check. He knew A-Xuan was the one in the living room. When he opened the door slightly, he saw A-Xuan and Erys asleep in each other arms.
Maddox already had a bad presentint yesterday when A-Xuan put a hand in his, but now he’s beyond angry. Finally, he’s not with Naethan anymore and he has no intention to give A-Xuan to soone else.
If he can’t be with , then he shouldn’t be with anyone else ever again. He turned around and got in the car.
A-Xuan sat in the car, he looked toward Maddox with a smile. He could tell he was angry.
"What are you looking at?"
A-Xuan turned around, eting Erys irritated eyes. He smiled angelically.
"Nothing."
Erys narrowed his eyes and put on his seatbelt. He started the car as A-Xuan looked in the passenger seats with a frown.
Erys followed his eyes.
"I told them we need to talk."
A-Xuan nodded, then leaned back and closed his eyes.
Erys was driving, but every once in a while he would look at A-Xuan.
"What?"
A-Xuan opened his eyes, eting his. Erys looked at him for a few seconds, then at the road.
"Do you love Maddox?"
A-Xuan raised an eyebrow and asked:
"Why do you care?"
Erys took the walkie-talkie and said to all the other cars:
"Go ahead."
He parked at the side of the road and A-Xuan watched as both cars passed them. He looked at Erys surprised, he looked back, his eyes full of fire.
"You can’t love him."
A-Xuan smiled, this is so him.
"Why?"
"Because you’re mine."
A-Xuan asked, amused:
"I am?"
Erys could see that he was mocking him like he wasn’t taking what he said seriously, and his anger rose. A-Xuan t his angry fiery eyes and was haunted, they were even more spectacular like that.
It looked like a roaring fire, so beautiful. Erys’ anger gradually rescinded when he saw A-Xuan’s obsessed eyes. He pulled him onto his lap and kissed him. A-Xuan wrapped his arms around his neck.
A-Xuan’s lips were sucked and bitten until they felt swollen and hot, he pushed him back, taking a breath. Erys ordered:
"Say you’re mine."
A-Xuan looked down, tight lip. Erys took a hold of his lips, kissing him again, it was intense and fierce. He ordered again:
"Say you’re mine."
A-Xuan’s eyes were blurry, and he shook his head to focus. Erys was about to kiss him again, but he stopped when A-Xuan asked indignantly:
"Why would I say that when I don’t even know if you like ?"
Erys looked at him, feeling a little guilty. He’s used to taking what he wants when he wants. But A-Xuan is a person, not an object. He wouldn’t go after him if he genuinely didn’t want him.
He just feels this intense pull to him, and he wants to be with him. He doesn’t have much affection for anything, that’s why he’s not scared of dying, but he has affection for him.
It’s more than affection which is crazy, but he intends to follow his feelings for him. Erys answered earnestly:
"I do like you, I like you a lot. I can’t stand to see you with anyone else, I just want you to be mine. Will you?"
A-Xuan’s heart softened. On a normal day, he can’t refuse much from his husband but with his fiery eyes, it’s so much worse. I’m so screwed. He nodded.
Erys looked at him excitedly.
"Really?"
A-Xuan gave him a peck and answered:
"Really, my love."
Erys eyes darken a few seconds, and he felt his heartbeat quicken hearing him call him my love. He hugged him tightly with a smile. You’re mine, so you can’t leave anymore.
After kissing him one last ti, Erys drove again. They reached the base 15 minutes after the others.
They all waited for them, worriedly. When they saw them, they took a breath except for Maddox whose eyes flashed with anger.
A-Xuan got out of the car and was about to check the dical building when Erys put a hand around his nape.
"Where are you going?"
A-Xuan looked at him with an amused smile, so possessive.
"dical building, I want to check on them."
He looked into his intoxicating fiery eyes and could see that he was a little displeased. He wrapped his arms around his neck, promising:
"We’ll eat together tonight."
Erys eyes lit up.
"And you’ll move into my house?"
Erys knows that he likes his eyes, so he knew he would be able to make him move in with him. He lives in a house at the edge of the campus, which is tranquil.
A-Xuan rolled his eyes, give an inch, and he’ll take a mile. He sighed:
"Fine."
Erys smiled, feeling like he duped him, A-Xuan gave him a peck and left.
Everyone had been looking at the scene astonished. They could clearly see Erys’ affection for A-Xuan and his soft spot for him. They all stood there frozen until Erys looked at them threateningly, and they left.
Maddox left, his hands tightened into fists. Since he’s not mine, he won’t be anyones. These past two days he’s been so happy thinking that A-Xuan has feelings for him, but he doesn’t.
His heart, hurt so much more now that he had a taste of what being with him felt like, rather than never knowing. What’s the point of A-Xuan living if he doesn’t love ?
After checking the first and second-floor A-Xuan went to his office. At least now he knows that if he’s gone, everything will run smoothly.
When he entered his office, he looked at the person sitting behind his desk with a mocking smile.
"Who told you to use my office?"
Naethan had his hands behind his head and his feet up on the desk. He looked at A-Xuan wide-eyed. How is this fucking possible? He was sure he would die during scavenging.
Khal said he would take care of him, the only reason he didn’t change the dical building again is that he didn’t want people to think he was involved.
But here he is alive and well. He took his feet off the desk and walked to A-Xuan. He explained:
"I was just keeping an eye on everything while you were gone."
A-Xuan raised an eyebrow.
"Really?"
"Yes of course. Even if we’re not together anymore I’m still your best friend."
A-Xuan smiled.
"Good, I’d like that. But next ti don’t trouble yourself, I already nad an actual doctor as a second."
When A-Xuan saw Naethan’s jaw clenching in anger, he took a seat behind his desk satisfied.
"Can you call my assistant, I need the papers to modify the formula of my vaccine?"
Naethan was about to leave, but he stopped, looking at A-Xuan.
"You have the formula for the second virus?"
"Yes, but I haven’t told anyone yet so keep it a secret."
Naethan’s eyes lit up.
"Can I see the formula?"
A-Xuan shrugged.
"Sure."
Naethan walked to him while he took a pen, writing. His eyes never left his hand. When A-Xuan finished writing he took the paper, looking at it like it was his salvation. A-Xuan stood up and said before leaving.
"Right, I gave him the day off. I’ll be right back."
When he was sure he was gone, Naethan took a paper and wrote down the formula. He folded the paper and put it in his pocket. When A-Xuan ca back, he left.
