Shuo let Isaac pull him until they were out of A-Xuan’s office, he then took back his arm, angrily. When he heard Isaac snicker he was angrier, he walked to his office faster, slamming the door behind him. By the ti he sat at his desk, Isaac had already opened the door, coming in.
This is far too much for him. Even if he had this crush on him for a few months already, he didn’t have to be with him constantly. Shuo could forget about him for so ti since he was out of sight, but now he can’t even do that.
When he saw Isaac laughing at what A-Xuan said, it was harder than he thought it would be. He’s always known that Isaac would never have feelings for him, but hearing his mocking laugh was too much. Isaac looked at Shuo who still looked angry.
He walked to him leaning against his desk.
"Do you have to get this angry at a joke?"
Shuo looked up at him with clear resentnt in his eyes. He looked away, sighing.
How can Isaac be so oblivious? Isaac put a hand on his shoulder, but Shuo pushed it away as though even the thought of his touch repulsed him. Shuo t Isaac’s hurt eyes, then looked ahead.
"Don’t touch anymore, I don’t like it."
Even if he wants to avoid hurting him, it’s so much worse for him. Isaac’s a flirt, and he doesn’t even realize that just a simple touch to him isn’t nothing.
Isaac looked at him for a few seconds then took a seat on the sofa. Since Shuo hates his touch so much, he’ll leave him alone. He should be resentful when he gets this angry at a joke about being with him. Am I that disgusting to him?
The worst is that he only teases him because he likes him. That’s how he communicates he doesn’t know any better. But every ti it happens, Shuo takes offense to it, but this is how he is. And clearly who he is is not good enough for him.
Isaac swallowed, Shuo is the person who makes him feel like himself again. He always makes him smile when he didn’t think anything ever could again.
When he is around him he feels light and all those dark pictures in his mind disappear. Shuo managed to do what his therapist couldn’t do, but to him, he’s nothing more than a nuisance.
Darren was in the car on his way ho. Usually, he would eat lunch with Victoria, but his mother called him. When he arrived, he got out of the car and knocked. A butler opened, and he walked to the living room.
When he entered he saw his mother sitting on the couch taping her fingers on the table, next to it was a white envelope. Darren approached her calling.
"Moth..."
Before he could finish Shengi got up and slapped him. Darren looked at her incredulously, he watched as she walked to the table and grabbed the envelope.
After opening it she threw the content at his face, and dozens of pictures flew everywhere. Darren bent down, picking one at his feet, he looked at it wide-eyed. He stood up, looking at his mother with worry.
He opened his mouth, but she cut him.
"You fucking moron, of all the people, you had to choose that whore? Can’t you see she’s just using you for the company?"
"No mother, she’s not using , she’s really in love with ."
Shengi sneered:
"She’s your sister! You’re a bigger fool than I thought. "
Darren looked at her pleadingly. She yelled:
"I’ve sacrificed the person I loved, so you could have his company, and this is how you repay ?"
Darren looked down, not saying anything, what can he even say Shengi ordered:
"End it with her and deal with whoever’s behind it."
Darren looked up and nodded. Shengi walked out after saying:
"Break up and fire her today."
When she left, Darren bent down picking up all the pictures scattered on the floor. They were pictures of him and Victoria in bed. He can’t understand who would do that to him and why. There’s only a handful of people who know about their relationship.
He put all the pictures in the envelope, then closed it. He thought for a few seconds. Those two n he paid to kill A-Xuan, not only did they lie about his death, but they also disappeared.
He grabbed the note on the table and read it.

Darren put the note in his pocket. His hand tightened around the envelope. His cell phone rang and he checked the ssage. He opened his mail, looking at the file he received of A-Xuan. When he read the integrity, he was shocked.
All this ti he thought he was dead, but he was actually at B Country building Song PharmaTech. No wonder he’s so rich, that company is worth millions.
He knows that he has an expensive contract with the military and that they’re at the forefront of biotech. Darren also knows that he can’t compete with them, and that’s why he wanted to beco partners with them until he gets their patent.
But now that he knows it belongs to A-Xuan, he can just talk to him, and they could rge both companies. Ever since A-Xuan was a kid he would work at the lab, he clearly has sentintal ties to Wu Pharma. He’ll never refuse, plus he knows how he worshiped their father.
Thinking of him, Darren felt like throwing up. After everything, he put him and his mother through, he can’t understand why she still loves him. No matter what, she sacrificed a lot for him, so he’ll never let her down.
He has to end things with Victoria and fire her. His mother is the reason he is where he is. He took his cell phone and made a phone call while leaving.
