Next, turning towards the interior of Sunset City, the neat roads, and the uniformly planned houses, all in European-style architecture. Such an arrangent can make the relationship between neighbors quite harmonious.
Finally, there are the thousand steps of the Royal Palace, and then the aerial view of the palace platform. This forms a general outline, and the last scene is completed with aerial photography, taking a helicopter to overlook the entire Sunset City from mid-air, magnificent, grand...
Of course, the filming work is not done in one go, and the production of the film is not done overnight. To create a satisfactory work, it must be done slowly. Random shooting is not acceptable. Zhang Yimou is very dedicated to his work. He will never allow any flaws in his work and will not permit his work to be made roughly. Hence, all this requires ti.
And Feng Zhixiao had precisely that ti, spending every day with Director Zhang and the others filming in Sunset City. The workers were exhausted every day, but when they counted the money they earned, they felt that the day’s hard work was worth it.
...
Ye Chen stayed in New York for several days, also wandered around Li Ruo’s company, and almost everyone in the company knew that Ye Chen was Li Ruo’s boyfriend. So of the older employees had known about this for a long ti, while the newcors felt indignant towards Ye Chen, questioning why this guy got Li Ruo.
"Buddy, I advise you not to be upset. He’s Li Ruo’s childhood sweetheart!" said a fellow next to him, deliberately adding fuel to the fire, "What makes you think you can pursue Mr. Li?"
"I never thought of pursuing Mr. Li, just feeling a bit unfair for our vice president!" the fellow said helplessly.
"Haha, let tell you, there was once a vice president who resigned because he couldn’t accept Li Ruo being with Ye Chen!" the person continued, "Guess what happened next? Mr. Li directly approved it, following the company’s policy, when an employee wanted to resign, the boss should talk to them and try to retain them, but Mr. Li didn’t even say a word to retain them!"
"No way?" the fellow looked at him in astonishnt.
"Of course!"
While the two were talking, Ye Chen and Li Ruo walked out from the company. Li Ruo said to her assistant, "Xiao Bing, please help send Ye Chen to Washington. I have an important eting I can’t leave!"
"If you can’t leave, then don’t bother, Da Xia and I can go!" Ye Chen grinned and said.
"How could that be?" Li Ruo hurriedly shook her head and said, "If I don’t send you, I’ll always feel that I owe you, so let Xiao Bing help send you."
"Mr. Li, you should go to your eting, let send Mr. Ye!" Xiao Bing nodded and then contacted Li Ruo’s designated driver.
After saying goodbye to Li Ruo, Ye Chen and Da Xia, accompanied by two dancers, headed straight for Washington. This ti, Ye Chen went to Washington mainly to discuss the Middle East issues with Obama. No matter what, he must persuade Obama to withdraw troops from Iraq. This issue is more important than anything. As for whether he could admit in front of the whole world that no bioweapons were found in Iraq, Ye Chen himself found it challenging, but taking it one step at a ti, Ye Chen believed Obama could not refuse for the sake of the country’s economic developnt.
Speeding along the way, the U.S. highways were still very smooth. Upon arriving in Washington, Ye Chen let the driver drive directly into the White House. The Secret Service agents at the White House gate stopped Ye Chen’s car, and upon learning that Ye Chen was a friend of the President, the agents imdiately allowed him to pass. The old butler at the gate was waiting for Ye Chen with a smile.
Seeing Ye Chen enter, the old butler imdiately ca up and welcod him, saying with a smile, "Mr. Ye, you finally arrived. The President has been waiting for you in the study since he received your call!"
"Then please lead the way!" Ye Chen laughed gently.
"This way, please!" The old butler quickly led the way.
Ye Chen asked Da Xia to settle the two dancers first and wait for his news in the guest room. Subsequently, Ye Chen followed the butler into the study, where the light was bright, and Obama was sitting in a chair reading a book, holding a tiless favorite, "War and Peace."
"Your Excellency, did this book give you any insights?" Ye Chen smiled and asked.
"Have you read it too?" Obama smiled.
"Of course!" Ye Chen nodded and then smiled, "If I hadn’t read it, how could I ask you?"
"Hmm, war doesn’t necessarily bring disaster!" Obama laughed, "It might bring opportunities, perhaps developnt. War can make a country on the brink of economic collapse develop again. Peace might relax people’s vigilance against war. Am I wrong?"
"War causes death; without war, this world would be a beautiful spring!" Ye Chen looked at Obama and then said, "Why must there be war, can’t we coexist peacefully?!"
"Without war, how can there be developnt?" Obama snorted and then said, "Excessive peace will relax people’s vigilance."
"Alright, I won’t discuss this with you!" Ye Chen smiled calmly, walked to the desk, sat down opposite him, and said with a smile, "Your Excellency, do you know how many of your people died in the NATO war? Do you know how many died in the Gulf War? And do you know how many died in the Iraq War? Have the deaths from nurous wars and those broken families not made you vigilant?"
"Ye Chen, what are you trying to tell by saying this?" Obama looked at Ye Chen with a smile and then said, "Are you trying to make give up on betting on wars in the Middle East?"
"No!" Ye Chen imdiately shook his head, "I believe you should have known about yesterday’s news, right?"
"What news?" Obama was taken aback.
"There was an explosion in Iraq, causing four U.S. soldiers to die and ten to be injured!" Ye Chen looked directly at him and then said, "This news has caused a huge sensation within the United States. I believe Aricans must be very angry about this incident, so Your Excellency, can you tell the real culprit behind this event?"
"Of course, it’s those damned Iraqis!" he said furiously.
"Wrong!" Ye Chen imdiately shook his head and then said, "The real cause of this incident is none other than you!"
"Why are you pointing the finger at ?" The President looked at Ye Chen angrily.
"Hmph!" Ye Chen snorted lightly and said, "If you say it’s not your fault, then why did you launch a war against Iraq?"
"We suspect they were developing biological weapons!" The President said blandly.
"Where’s the evidence?" Ye Chen sneered, "Whatever one does, it requires evidence. You launched a war against others without any evidence. Do you think this is right?"
"How do we get evidence without fighting them?" Obama looked at Ye Chen, frowning.
"Alright then, what’s the final result? Where are the biological weapons you found?" Ye Chen asked again. This question left Obama in a tough spot because from beginning to end, U.S. soldiers never found any so-called biological weapons. In his heart, he knew very well that the so-called biological weapons were just a pretext, without which he couldn’t wage war abroad nor shift the growing unemploynt rate and dostic tension.
"They were not found!" He shook his head.
"Since they were not found, why are you still so adamant?" Ye Chen smiled, then said, "Your Excellency, this is not sothing a great power can do!"
"The situation has already happened; what should I do now?" Obama exhaled a breath.
"You should have the deanor of a great power!" Ye Chen looked at him and continued, "You should openly apologize to the people of the world. And tell them that launching the Iraq War was a mistake and that biological weapons were imaginary!"
"No way!" He shook his head and said, "If I say this, not only the international community, but even the dostic public will be very angry and dissatisfied with !"
"No!" Ye Chen waved his hand and said, "All this has nothing to do with you!"
"Why?" Obama asked curiously.
"Because all this is the problem of the forr president!" Ye Chen smiled calmly, "I believe even if you co out openly to admit these things, not only will the dostic public support you more, but internationally, you will also beco a pioneering figure!"
At this point, Obama fell silent. Ye Chen’s words sowhat moved him. The Iraq issue had always been a thorn in his side. Removing it was fear of excessive blood loss leading to death; not removing it, it would continue to hurt. Is it to be a persistent pain, or a one-ti gamble? He had no certainty in his heart, maybe removing this thorn would lead to his demise. But if not removed, he’d have to endure such pain forever.
"Your Excellency, think it over!" Ye Chen glanced at him and then turned to leave, adding before walking out the door, "I’ve talked with the Middle Eastern countries. As long as you withdraw your troops from Iraq and admit not finding any biological weapons in Iraq, they will resu oil exports to you. It’s up to you to decide!"
"No!" Obama imdiately jumped up and said, "I absolutely cannot let anyone hold by the throat. If so, I’d rather start a war!"
"Suit yourself!" Ye Chen shrugged and then smiled, "I’m going to rest now, will co back to discuss with you tomorrow. Think it over well, I believe you’ll figure it out. Starting a war will bring you countless harms and no benefits. So, think it through. War causes death, if you’re willing to let so many families be torn apart, suit yourself."
