Wei Zhen is a ticulous person, she asked through the security door: "Who is it?"
"Checking the water ter!" A strong male voice responded from outside.
"The water ter is downstairs!" Wei Zhen replied.

"Damn it, we’re from the police departnt, checking ID cards!" The guy at the door finally got angry and started pounding on the door with his fist. At this mont, Wei Zhen nervously opened the door, and more than a dozen guys with genuine firearms rushed in, imdiately occupying the entire studio apartnt. Leading them was a burly fat guy who resembled Chen Fugui, especially in the vibe between his brows. Ye Chen imdiately understood that this guy must be Chen Fugui’s brother.
"Director Chen, this is the guy that injured your brother!" An officer quickly pointed at Ye Chen.
"Good kid, you dare to touch my brother?!" The burly man gritted his teeth as if Ye Chen had had his way with his wife. Ye Chen smiled calmly: "I hit him, so what? Do you expect to hit the brother and then smack the brother too?"
"Damn it. You’re in my hands now, you’ll suffer!" The guy glared at Ye Chen viciously and then said: "Co on, this guy dared to hurt soone purposely, take him away!"
"Yes!" The dozen policen imdiately surrounded him.
These officers were unaware of Ye Chen’s prowess, all anxious to earn rit. Especially when they saw Ye Chen sitting still on a chair, they thought their chance had co. But these policen were gravely mistaken. As they lunged at Ye Chen, Ye Chen spun around, hooked a chair that no one was sitting on with his foot, and flung it at the dozen incoming policen.

In a flash, the room was filled with sounds echoing like firecrackers. Duoduo and Wei Zhen were scared out of their wits, the two had never seen such a scene before, not only seeing so many ard policen but also witnessing them open fire. The thing the two worried about the most was Ye Chen. No matter how capable Ye Chen was, could he really escape from the hail of bullets?
The possibility was slim, almost unlikely. Of course, if Ye Chen was God, maybe it was possible. But is there really a God in this world?
After a torrent of fire, a mist of dust rose inside the room. As the bullets penetrated the white plaster walls, clouds of dust erupted. With over a dozen rifles firing simultaneously, the room imdiately beca a sea of dust.
"Cough..." The chief coughed harshly, gritting his teeth: "Find that guy’s body!"
"Yes!" The policen donned gas masks, unafraid of the dust that clouded their vision, unable to see Ye Chen’s position clearly.

A flash of white light instantly alerted the policen. Everyone trained could sohow sense the danger around them. Once a threat erged, whether they could see it or not, the sixth sense would imdiately alert them.

Suddenly, the cries stopped abruptly, causing everyone to draw a sharp breath. What did this sharp cry for help signify? It ant Ye Chen isn’t dead, that he escaped amidst the barrage of bullets! While the officers searched around for Ye Chen, Ye Chen played cat and mouse in the mist with them. Holding a dagger, Ye Chen had already killed one policeman, and taking down a policeman wasn’t difficult for him, even handling the aftermath was fine.
The policen nervously searched for Ye Chen, who in turn dizzied these officers within the mist.

All the policen retreated out of the apartnt, blocking the entrance. Several officers hurried downstairs to seal off the windows of the apartnt. They planned to lock Ye Chen in, but they were miscalculating. Ye Chen quietly approached the corner where Duoduo and Wei Zhen were hiding.
"Wei Zhen, Duoduo, are you okay?" Ye Chen asked urgently.
"Ye, you’re... you’re alive?" Duoduo tearfully whimpered, thinking Ye Chen was already dead in the hail of bullets, only to hear Ye Chen’s voice now, making Duoduo feel as if she was dreaming. She lightly bit her finger and said: "I... I guess I’m not dreaming, right?"
"No, listen, find a place to hide in the room now." Ye Chen hurriedly said.
The two girls didn’t ask why, quickly rushing into the bedroom and hid inside the wardrobe. Ye Chen stood up straight and began walking slowly outside. The policen had set a trap outside, waiting for Ye Chen to face it.
Over a dozen policen squatted at the entrance, occupying crucial positions on the floor. Once Ye Chen ca out, they would imdiately open fire. Every eye focused on the door, anticipating Ye Chen’s appearance. As soon as Ye Chen erged, he would be shot dead.
As everyone anticipated Ye Chen, his figure indeed ca out from the dusty room. The burly chief imdiately said: "Don’t shoot, capture him alive!"
"Yes!" Everyone quickly put away their weapons.
Ye Chen smirked mysteriously. As everyone surrounded him slowly, Ye Chen’s figure suddenly vanished—it was just a flicker—and he disappeared from under everyone’s nose, shocking everyone.
"Damn it, where did he run off to?" Director Chen asked curiously.
"Director, he... he’s gone!" A nearby policeman swallowed hard.
"Pow..."
Director Chen slapped soone and angrily said: "I saw it, do I need you to tell ? Damn it, hurry and find him. Damn it, if I can’t find the kid, how will I explain? And if I can’t explain, see how I punish you!"
"Yes, yes!" The policen were scared out of their wits and quickly began the search.
