"Baby doesn't like it when I leave her at ho alone. She terrorizes the canaries and tries to get into the fish tank." he noticed where she was looking and explained.

He could not tell her the truth which was that he felt safer when the cat was close to him. All the fatigue, headaches, pains and stress miraculously vanished when baby was in his laps.

"You nad your cat baby." she replied, flatly.

Caishen, looking ever so unbothered shrugged. "She is young and clingy. Not that I mind being paid a visit by my mother but why are you here mother? I have a lunch appointnt with president Yueguang, so I have to leave the office in thirty minutes for kingdom hotel."

His mother looked at him curiously. "Kingdom hotel, why?"

"They are expanding and I want their business." he told her.

"What about peach hotel? Your grandfather had a conversation with their president yesterday. He is not too pleased about you turning them down." she went on to share the conversation she had had with grandpa Zhang.

"They are cheap mother, what they want will cause a disaster. In this wheelchair, I know more than anyone the consequences of...." he was raising his voice at his mother so he took a deep breath and stopped talking.

His mother's face paled and she looked visibly sick.

"I have known her for less than a week and you want to have children with her."

And you are going around with that baby, the cat which she gave you. From the little information I have received so far, she seems to be taking care of Xiaobo as well. "We have baby, you can consider her your first granddaughter."

His mother hissed at him and folded her mouth.

"You, don't even try that joke. I don't need animals as my grandchildren when I have a perfectly healthy son who is capable of reproducing. Why are you making this difficult, she even picks food for you now and you eat it.

I heard that you are planning to take her to the hospital for a check up. That's a smart move, you should ensure that she is healthy. Make sure to know that she is fertile and in good shape."
