The night passed rather uneventfully and more peaceful for them both and in the morning, Alix woke up after Caishen finished taking his bath. As he was leaving the bedroom, she was dressing up quickly to et him for breakfast.

He always left at seven thirty unless sothing interfered with his program and caused him to wake up early or late.

It was six forty five, and Alix figured that she was not late.

On the second floor, she found him and Xiaobo at the table, already having breakfast.

Xiaobo was dressed in his school uniform and his bag was sitting on the chair next to him. Caishen's black kitten was eating out of a bowl in the corner of the room.

It reminded her of her canaries, was the feed she put in their automatic feeder enough?

"Goodmorning cute Xiaobo," she greeted the child at the table first.

"Goodmorning aunt Alix." Xiaobo answered eagerly.

After playing a ga together, watching a movie and eating cake, Xiaobo was now more friendly with Alix.

"Goodmorning hubby Zhang." she greeted with a naughty smile.

Caishen had just swallowed so coffee and in that mont, it went down the wrong path and he started to cough fitfully.

"Oh, hubby," Alix gasped.

Quickly, she got up and beat his back as gently as she could.

"Be careful, drink your coffee slowly" she told him.

He glared up at her, his eyes sending out accusations. She was the cause of his problems and yet she was giving him advise.

"Ouuh, red bean cake," Alix moved on from Caishen's choking event to stuffing her stomach full.

For a while, all the people at the table paid attention to nothing but their breakfast.

Ten minutes passed and Alix noticed the drops of rain falling on the window.

"It's raining." she said.

Rain in the sumr, from up here, it was pretty.

"The news already said it." Xiaobo said.

Alix had not watched the news so she did not know.

"Xiaobo, did you pack an umbrella?" she asked.

He nodded his head.

"Your school, Shuhaha International is on the way to my work place. Do you want to go together?" she asked him.

Xiaobo looked at his uncle, his eyes questioning but also filled with desire to be granted permission.

"It's your choice." Caishen told him.

Normally, Xiaobo went to school on his own but if he wanted company, that was up to him.

"It's settled, from now on, I will drop you off everyday and pick you up, unless sothing cos up."

Alix was about to put another spoon full of porridge in her mouth when Caishen said sothing.

"School starts at eight, with rain the road will be congested. If you want to reach school early now is the ti to leave."

Alix got her purse while Xiaobo grabbed his bag. Wang Ma gave them both umbrellas and rain coats.

"Xiaobo, do you pack lunch or do you eat from school?" she asked him.

"I eat from school, we have a good cafeteria, they give us pork cutlets, stead buns, spaghetti, hamburger, fried rice."

While she stuffed him into his rain coat, he talkatively ntioned all of the foods that he ate at school.

"Nanny, Wang Ma, we are leaving now." Alix waved at both of the older won who were watching her with soft smiles on their faces. A few tis during breakfast, she had seen Wang Ma taking pictures.

This was probably a request made by Caishen's mother or his grandparents.

"What about drinks?" she continued.

"Bye uncle." Xiaobo loudly said as he waved.

"Bye hubby Zhang." Alix imitated Xiaobo's childish voice and waved as well.

Caishen secretly rolled his eyes and sighed. He had brought ho a noisy wife that was about to turn into a noisy playmate for his nephew.

The car t them downstairs and uncle Ji drove them to Shuhaha international school first.

Alix did not allow Xiaobo to go in alone, she held his hand and escorted him all the way to the building as so parents were doing for their children.

It seed to made Xiaobo happy, he giggled and swung their hands back and forth as he told her all about his school.

When she t his teacher, she introduced herself, showed proper docuntation of who she was and then was registered as soone allowed to pick him from school.

After waving to him one last ti, she left the school and went to her own work place.

She had barely taken a single step into her office when Jin Kang nabbed her like a thief.

"You, you are living in blossom courts." she said and squealed.

"Yes," Alix replied coquettishly.

"Gaaaaah!!!" Jin Kang squealed.

"Stop shouting." Alix's eyes widened and she sealed Jin Kang's mouth with her right hand.

Jin Kang ripped Alix's hand away from her mouth and nodded.

"I will not shout now tell everything."

Alix looked at her friend slyly and she sealed her mouth.

"Tell , tell , tell ," Jin Kang whined.

Alix laughed and fell down in her chair with care.

"It's a dream." she said with her hands spread out wide.

"Is it really as extravagant as they say?" Jin Kang asked in a hushed voice.

"It's like living in one of the best hotels we have in the country. Jin Kang, I never once in my life thought about blossom courts. It never crossed mind because I was struggling to survive and living hand to mouth.

I don't know which nation I saved in my past life but I think I am finally being rewarded.

Today morning, I took our brother Bo's son to school."

Both of them squealed again, filled with excitent as they were avid fans of Zhang Bo.

It was no secret that he had a son, other than that, no other information was available on Xiaobo.

"Friend, can I move in with you?" Jin Kang asked in a childish voice and pouted.

Alix smiled slyly and shook her head.

"Friend, no."

"I knew it, madam, you have changed so much." Jin Knag, much like the drama queen she was faked a tearful voice, covered her eyes and pretended to cry.

"Did you book the studio session by the way?" Alix asked her.

"Mmm," Jin Knag nodded. "You have no class this morning, all your teaching sessions are for the afternoon. Let's go, let's do this already.."
