335: A heart of steel.

335: A heart of steel.

[Warning: Player Alix had killed too many unard NPC’s, one more and she will be locked out of the ga for an hour.] [Warning: Player Dark Death has killed too many unard NPC’s, one more and she will be locked out out of the ga.] [Warning: Player Hero Jen has killed too many unard NPC’s, one more and he will be locked out of the ga.] Alix cursed silently when the warnings covered the entire screen.

More warnings were sent out by the ga, halting the players from killing every resident of Packer’s city.

Alix’s invitation had worked as she hoped and almost every player that was online dashed into the city to do what she was doing.

“What do i do, i haven’t completed my mission?” she asked the system.

She was already approaching the center of the city where a large number of soldiers were concentrated.

With one explosion, she could complete her mission easily.

“Risk it.

The penalty is just being locked out of the ga for an hour, nothing scary.” The system advised.

“Here i go,” she muttered.

She was a woman with a heart of steel now.

In whatever she did now, it was all or nothing.

Already, one of her most deadly explosive devices had landed sowhere on the ground, in the middle of an active training ground and it had gone unnoticed so far.

The bad general’s training forces were arming up, preparing to go after those that were attacking the city.

They were behind a fortress in the middle of the city.

There was a tal wall surrounding their living area which separated them from the rest of the occupants of the city.

Her reason for causing commotion had been to get to this place without showing anyone in which direction she was going or where her weapon was pointing.

In a ga like this, where solo rankings mattered, it was best to confuse everyone, friends and foes alike.

Alix took one deep breath and activated the device.

As soon as the boom went up and kill count started climbing, the screen froze .

A big glaring red notice appeared on the screen in front of her character.

[Player Alix banned for twenty four hours for flaunting the rules of the ga.] The announcent surprised her because the initially promised punishnt was a one hour ban, not twenty four hours.

“This is cheating.” she muttered in dismay.

She tried to activate her character again but no matter what she tried to move, nothing worked.

“This is cheating, outlandish, outrageous, i demand to speak to the ga developers.

System, do you see this?” she screeched in her brain.

Physically, she stomped her right foot like an unhappy child whose treat had been snatched.

“Do not stress about the ban so much, it’s only temporary.

Your kill count is still going up despite you being locked out of the ga.

I will inform you about the final outco.

Congratulations in advance, it looks like you are on your way to completing the mission.

Also, your flaunting of the rules has impressed millions of fans and you are receiving many gifts as i speak.” The system inford her.

“I guess there is nothing left to do but wait.” she mumbled.

She removed the gaming glasses and disconnected from the virtual gaming world.

Before doing anything else, she stretched her arms and legs.

Then she rubbed a hand on her stomach and said to herself, “I am hungry.” She turned around and finally noticed her small audience which was still quite invested in the ga.

Her eyes also fell on Majesty who had fallen in the chair laying face up with an expression of soone that was high.

The gaming glasses were her first worry.

Thirty million would go to waste if the cat played around with them.

She approached the cat and took them off while asking the others, “So, what is everyone doing here?” Even the boys were there instead of out doing sothing or resting.

It was a school day tomorrow after all.

“Young madam, you are aweso.” Bi Cang broke the silence first and he gave her a thumbs up.

“Really aweso, you took only head shots and they were all lethal.

How many years of training do you have?

Which ga did you play before to sharpen your skills?” She laughed and wondered what he would say if she told him that she had less than two weeks of shooting expertise under her belt but she had beco a master overnight.

“Many years, of training.” she replied.

She left Majesty and walked over to her brothers.

Wu Gang was still drawing while Wu Wei watched over him.

So already finished sketches were laying on the chair and ground.

They had been drawn with a pencil, so they were black and white but were expertly drawn.

The angles, particularly, Alix noticed were sharp.

She tousled the boys hair and said in a deep voice, “Wow, our Wu Gang is very talented.” Wu Gang shied away and he covered the sketch book.

Blushing red, he got away from her and picked up the rest of the the sketches.

Then, to her amusent, he run away quickly, retreating to his bedroom.

“Tch!, that kid is still shy around .

I should have kissed his cheeks and teased him so more.” she said.

Her eyes were full of dotting as they stayed in the direction Wu Gang had taken.

She turned her eyes to Wu Wei, glistening with mischief.

Wu Wei sensed the danger and he tried to evade her octopus like arms but they were faster.

Alix trapped him by putting one arm around his shoulders.

“My beloved brother, have i ever told you that you are adorable?” Wu Wei sighed instead of replying.

In a reluctant voice he said, “Just kiss my cheeks already.

I have to study for the upcoming tests next week.” Alix laughed, in that villain voice of hers.

She kissed both of his cheeks and let him go.

As he walked away, she shouted, “I love you Wu Wei.

You are the best, really, the best.

You will ace those tests i am sure.

Our Wu Wei is the most handso and smart boy in school, and Wu Gang too.” After teasing he brother to her satisfaction, she turned around and realized her audience was gone.

Caishen was the only one left behind.

“Hubby baby, did you see how aweso i was in the ga?

I was like bang, bang and bang.” she skipped over to his side happily with her hands held out to form the shape of a gun.

Her facial expression was bright and expectant, like that of a young child seeking praise.

Caishen changed his mind and thought that was not the appropriate description.

She looked more like a dog seeking praise for returning a stick or ball to it’s owner with a wagging tail.

As silly as she looked, she caused his heart to flutter with the pure joy in her eyes and excited expression on her face.

Cute, she is so cute.

Why is he so cute and adorable, he asked himself.

He smiled mischievously, taking on a similar appearance to the one she had given Wu Wei before teasing him and then he proceeded to say sothing that shocked her to her very core.

“I love you Alix.” he answered.
