301: Seventeen tis.

301: Seventeen tis.

Professor He leaned back in the chair and jotted down sothing.

The words terrifying did not speak to a great start of anyone’s relationship.

That and the absence of public declaration of each other’s status in their personal spaces communicated a lot.

There was a gap between them sowhere that needed bridging.

This was definitely an important aspect of the relationship which needed looking into and fixing.

This was not a one sided problem, the husband and wife both needed to play an active role in fixing it.

Professor He was glad that this was sothing Alix was willing to open up about and she readied herself to dig deeper into it.

While this was happening, Caishen was busy sorting out information related to work and that related to Lai Yanfang.

One of the things he was learning was that she had paid him secret visits in the past but Mo Sen and the other guards did not inform him about said visits.

However, they kept records of all the days she ca and what she said on those days.

The records were handwritten notes which Mo Sen had stored away safely.

Currently, Caishen was looking at them in his office with a frown on his face.

“How many tis did she co by in total?” Mo Sen was standing with his hands behind his bac like a soldier.

“Seventeen tis in three years, young master.” Caishen looked down and frowned at the words he was reading.

“He can’t avoid forever.” “All i need is an hour of his ti and then i will leave.

Caishen wouldn’t do this to , he wouldn’t refuse to see because he still loves .” “Just tell him that i am in trouble.

I am sure that he will co running when he hears this.” “I will make him regret this, do you hear .

Tell him that he will regret this.

I will not be ignored.” Caishen closed the notebook and looked up at Mo Sen.

His eyes were deeply cold and unhappy because such an important thing was kept out of the reach of his ears.

“You should have co to Mo Sen.” he said in a low voice, deeply disappointed.

Mo Sen’s facial expression remained neutral as he replied, “It was a direct instruction from the elder madam and we couldn’t disobey it.

She didn’t want you eting a married ex-girlfriend because it wouldn’t do anyone any good and bring scandals to the Zhang group.” Caishen slapped his hand on his table and asked in a still cold voice, “Do you work for or my grandmother Mo Sen?” His anger was not necessarily because he wanted to et Lai Yanfang.

It was because this was information which should have been passed to him.

“I apologize, young master.” Mo Sen responded.

Caishen was filled with anger even more when he heard the apology.

It was very useless to him now.

He couldn’t help all the what if’s which slipped into his mind.

What if he had simply t her and heard her out, would he be paraplegic now?

Mo Sen wasn’t the only one to bla in this case because he had also hung up on her decisively when she called his personal cell.

What is it that she wanted to say to him so desperately that she sought him out after over ten years of separation?

Caishen looked at the last words which were recorded in the notebook, words that promised doom as Yanfang promised to make him pay.

“You are my personal head of security but you didn’t deem it fit to inform of what turned out to be a very real threat on my life.

Does that make you bad at your job?” “I inford the elder madam young master but she dismissed it.

Miss Yanfang did not appear to be a threat at the ti.

As more ti passed, i forgot all about it because she didn’t return.

I apologize for my montary lack of proper judgent which resulted in this catastrophe.” Mo Sen shared and lowered his sha filled eyes.

He touched the pocket of his long black coat and brought out a sealed small white envelope.

He looked at Caishen with a regretful look on his face.

“Young master, i will take responsibility for my actions and…” “If that is a resignation letter then you better put it back in your pocket and set it on fire later because i am rejecting it.” Caishen said with force.

Mo Sen’s hand froze as he was already passing the letter on.

He didn’t want to resign from a very lucrative job but this incident was really his personal failure.

He should have co to his boss that hired him and trusted him with the information, no matter how flimsy.

“I made a mistake young master…” “Yes you did.” Caishen confird.

Mo Sen looked at the wheelchair and his heart clenched.

If bla was being apportioned among those that contributed to the young master’s current condition then he was just as guilty as miss Lai Yanfang.

In a deeply regretful low voice Mo Sen said, “I have no idea how to face you now young master.” “If you want to face with your head held upright then dig up everything Lai Yanfang has been up to in the last five years.

Find out what was going on in her life around the ti when she ca to seek .

I want information on every shady business that she is involved in and i want to know the people she trusts the most to do her dirty work.” Caishen looked at Mo Sen frigidly and said sternly, “I want you to find her greatest weakness and leverage.

She must have thought that by involving Wang Yong in this matter then she would get away scot free even when i discovered what she had done.

She knows about my grandfather’s weak heart, and that i would not do anything that could trigger his sickness.” Mo Sen put the resignation letter back in his pocket and he said, “She must have been dug really deep to find your father and his family….err, i an…” “I know what you an.” Caishen replied with narrowed eyes.

He had already given this much thought.

Lai Yanfang had found out about his father being alive and then rather than tell him, she found a way to use this to hurt him.

For a while, after he heard that she had co looking for him, he had considered the fact perhaps this information was what she wanted to share but quickly, he ca to the conclusion that it wasn’t the case.

She would have gone to the elders if she had this information five years ago.

They would have been in her debt for eternity and so would he.

Looking at the tiline, she had only found his father at least two years after the threat was made.

His blood boiled with fury as her face beca clearer in his mind.

It was her that abandoned him to run off and fulfill her dreams, even moving on by finding herself a new boyfriend two weeks after leaving him and yet she still went ahead to try and kill him.

She would pay dearly for the pain she had caused him, he would see to it.

“Go, Mo Sen, find everything.”
