The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system Chapter 144 144: Fuck or kill?

Alix could not count how many of those Licademon things she had killed so far but she was certain that she had slaughtered hundreds of them.

The problem was that they were like flies, you killed one and ten took its place. Where in the world were they coming from?

The mbers of the Badass guild were the first to reach the leader of the Licademons, a gigantic big ass looking bat like creature. The creature was right where the system said it would be, sleeping in a cave of shimring rocks.

Their arrival had not been welcod because it's imdiately tried to rip them apart with it's long claws upon setting eyes on them.

When she played her flute, it opened it's mouth and a loud noise escaped from its mouth, blocking out the sound of her light burst.

Hero and Dark death were engaging it with their swords and knives while evading as she ca up with a plan B.

She had at least ten new level two strong spells.

"System, advise."

When she was engaged in a fight, they spoke briefly, never dragging unnecessarily.

"The song of the enchanting one." It responded.

She tapped that scroll and the notes were sent into her mind. Without a mont's hesitation, she used her points to add another layer to her barrier.

Her body was inside of a transparent bubble which water could not invade, allowing her to play her violin without interference.

As long as nothing poked the bubble, she would be fine.

Hand on strings, she started playing the song of the gracious one, a spell which would turn even the most ugly creature in front of one beautiful and enchant the opponent because they saw what was beautiful to them not reality.

It would trap the mind and control the eyes while increasing the heartbeat of the listener. It could also kill, if that heart beat beyond what it should or stop the heart from beating completely, depending on what notes she played.

The notes from her playing killed all the smaller Licademons within the vicinity of the shimring rocks first. Their small hearts could not take the violence and they exploded from inside.

Five minutes away from the shimring rocks, an elf, orc and two mbers of a different guild swam desperately in the direction of the song.

The elf was desperate to get there because the bard was there. He would kill her before allowing her to get another simple victory.

Just as Alix hated the elf, so did it hate her as well.

The elf thought that it was an insult to them all who fought fairly with their skills to be outdone by a bard that could barely compete with them physically. He hated her right from the day when she killed that guardian of the Naga queen's temple. She snuck in played her little songs and snatched the victory which belonged to him.

In Alix's mind, the system warned her. "Other players are approaching in three minutes and forty three seconds. End it."

She increased the speed of her playing and her bubble swam closer to the leader of the Licademons. Her song, had stunned Dark death and Hero, they too had been affected it seed and they just stared, srized by the thoughts in their minds.

The violent heart beating note was not aid at them so they were not overly affected to a point of being in danger.

The Licademon leader was bleeding from all of his orifices, and yet the unnatural smile on his face and twinkling in his eyes persisted.

Her original thought was to cut off it's head but she figured that if she stopped playing, five seconds was all the ti she would have for the Licademon to wake up from the spell and defend itself.

Instead, she kicked Hero on the buttocks and did the sa to Dark death. The pain of the kicks awakened the two who were briefly in a state of confusion.

But, as soon as they set eyes on the Licademon, they instantly knew what to do.

One deadly blade and one holy sword, one went into the heart which was already turning into mash and the other went into the neck of the Licademon, separating the head from the body.

Every player saw the notification from the ga wherever they were. Those who were just about to join in on the task felt a sense of loss while those who were closer but fell short by a few seconds, felt anger.

The elf and his group, specifically as they were only thirty ten seconds late. If they had just been quicker, this victory would be theirs.

His group floated in the water and looked at the three won on the BadAss guild contemplating.

The three won watched them with weary looks in their eyes and hands on their weapons.

The flute, had returned to Alix's hands and the violin was gone. She put it to her mouth and started playing the song of the enchanting one again.

"Next ti." The elf said.

He was not so stupid that he could not see the murderous intent in her eyes. And he was aware of the danger of her playing. He had also seen the paladin in action amd heard whispers about the assasin. For now, he would retreat.

His voice was low and threatening, ant only for Alix's ears.

He and his group turned around and left.

"What's up with those bastards?" Dark death asked her.

"I don't really know. Maybe they are jealous." Alix answered.

Dark death chuckled and said, "The elf either wants to kill you or fuck you."

"Okay that's gross." Alix answered.

"It's kill." Hero said. The kind of intensity she saw in the eyes of the elf did not have the makings of lustful passion. It looked more like hatred to her.

Her two companions looked up, surprised to hear her participate in the conversation.

"What?" She asked them.

"Nothing." They both answered at the sa ti.

"I still say fuck. Male elf, human bard, it's the kind of romance people love. And there is a thin line between love and hate." Dark death added.

Alix rolled her eyes and looked at the spot where the Licademon had fallen on top of the shimring rocks.

It's body was fading away into tiny water bubbles.

"What did we get?" Dark death asked, all excited.
