Chapter 807: Chapter 807: Mount Everest Avalanche

The snow piled at their feet began to tremble, and everyone was unable to stand steadily, all crouching directly on the ground.

Before they could realize what was happening, the guide ca running down from above, crazily, screaming at the top of his lungs.

"Avalanche!!! Run for it!!"

Behind them was the approaching snow wave they had just noticed.

In an instant, everyone’s faces turned deathly pale!

An avalanche, the natural disaster that is most likely to occur on snow-capped mountains and the situation least desired by the ordinary people.

In front of this terrifying natural calamity, re mortals had no power to resist at all!

"Damn it! Run!"

Liu He was the first to shout, dragging Hong Yun as he scrambled downward.

The rest didn’t bother to continue blaming Ning Fan, and ran like mad along the path they had co.

But however fast they were, they could not outpace the rolling snow wave.

The speed of an avalanche was much faster than most people imagined; with the snow mass descending continuously, speeds could even reach a staggering 100 ters per second!

The scenes in so movies depicting humans racing the avalanche and beating it at the last second were almost impossible!

Most of the ti, by the ti you hear the roaring sound, you should be running already.

Otherwise, by the ti you see the snow line, it’s usually too late to escape!

"Damn it! We can’t keep running like this!"

The guide, his face drained of color, roared as the tumbling snow wave closed in, looking around and suddenly his eyes lit up.

"Over there! We can squeeze in there! Let’s go there!"

The group followed the direction he was pointing at, and saw a protruding rock wall that ford an eave-like structure.

"Quick, quick, quick! Hurry over!"

"Don’t push !"

"Damn it, walk faster!"

The group hastily changed direction and dashed towards the shelter beneath the rock wall.

Ning Fan and Su Qingcheng followed and ran over as well.

Just as they had barely taken shelter, the howling snow wave thundered down from above!

Boom boom boom!

The deafening roar exploded, nearly bursting their eardrums.

In the face of nature’s might, even Martial Artists could only briefly retreat!

The saying "man triumphs over nature" seed nothing more than a slogan in such monts.

While everyone was still in shock, Hong Yun suddenly made a sign to the people beside him.

They exchanged glances and finally nodded their heads vehently, as if they had made so sort of decision.

"Hong Yun, help

check if anyone was left behind..."

Hong Qingyan had just begun to speak when she saw Hong Li, with an ice axe in hand, pointing at her with a cold gaze.

The other family mbers also drew their blades, taking control of Liu He, the guide, and the other people.

Hong Qingyan’s eyes widened in disbelief, "Hong Yun, what, what are you trying to do?"

"Heh, the kid was right," Hong Yun sneered, "today is where you’ll be buried."

Hearing this, Hong Qingyan could hardly believe her ears.

"You, you want to kill ?"

Hong Yun scoffed, "Isn’t it obvious, or can’t you see?"

"Why?" Only then did Hong Qingyan realize that what Ning Fan had said was all true, "Aren’t we family?"

"Nonsense family!" Hong Yun spat, "Just because you and I were born different, you get to be the Miss of the Hong Family and enjoy everything rightfully, and I just have to struggle hard?"

"You’ve been placed on a pedestal since you were young, adored by everyone, while we, who are rely lacking your father, have to manage the family business for you, so you can live a more comfortable life?"

Hong Yun’s voice grew louder, and towards the end, he was practically bellowing.

"I ask you, why?!"

"Why, for what reason?!!"

Hong Qingyan was almost stupefied by his shouting, looking at her cousin as if she were a stranger.

She had never imagined that those who grew up with her could show such a demonic face!

Ning Fan comnted lightly, "The problem lies not in having too much or too little, but in inequality."

"Shut your mouth!" Hong Li turned and bellowed, "If it weren’t for your sudden appearance, things wouldn’t have turned out this way!"

"Oh, so you bla

for ruining your murder plan?" Ning Fan raised an eyebrow.

"Don’t think you’re impressive just because you have so skills." Hong Yun sneered, "This is an avalanche, and no matter how great you are, you can’t confront it head-on! If I will it, you’ll die here on the spot!"

The space was cramped, even for a Martial Artist who needed space to maneuver.

They outnumbered them; if they so wished, they could instantly push all those who did not submit to them into the snow wave.

Hong Qingyan couldn’t accept this reality and stamred, "Just, just for that, you want to kill ?"

"Of course there’s more to it than that. It’s because of your damn father, who wants to take control of the force in our hands." Hong Yun ground his teeth, "He actually wants to hand over what we’ve labored for to you before he dies, paving the way for you to take over the family, how can I endure that?"

"That’s what I’ve worked so hard for over the years! If anyone wants to take it away, I’ll kill them! No one can take what’s mine!"

After venting his resentnt, Hong Yun took a deep breath, his face blossoming with an unprecedentedly radiant smile.
