Chapter 1231: Chapter 1231: The Revenge of the Parents
"Please follow ," he requested.
"Elder Xi Hu, I would like to et with your Supre Elder directly."
Xi Hu was slightly taken aback, but then nodded in agreent.
Chongxu Sect, Forbidden Area.
In the end, only Ning Fan was the one who ca here; Mr. Xuan had been arranged to rest in a guest room within the Chongxu Sect.
Approaching the tightly shut mountain gates, he was enveloped by swirling clouds and mist, rendering him unable to see his surroundings clearly.
Facing the gates, he bowed and said directly, "Junior Ning Fan is here to et you."
The mountain gates before him slowly opened, and a heavy voice ca through.
"Co in."
After a mont’s hesitation, Ning Fan decided to go in.
It was an opportunity to learn about his mother; naturally, he would not let it slip away so easily.
The cave dwelling in front of him was clean, lit up by a single candle fla.
A round stone platform appeared in his sight, and on the stone, a black-haired elder dressed in a black robe was sitting cross-legged.
From the mont Ning Fan stepped into this cave dwelling, the black-haired elder had opened his eyes and was examining him thoroughly.
He soon showed a satisfied smile.
"Truly the son of Ning Potian, you do resemble him a lot."
Ning Fan slightly furrowed his brows, then asked, "So the senior knew my father?"
"How could I not know him? Back then, Ning Potian was a significant influence on us, the Five Great Sects."
"He almost annihilated all the talents in our sect alone; had it not been for the combined forces of the Great Sects, we might not have been able to harm him."
Speaking, the Supre Elder showed a deep color of guilt.
His eyes beca misty, as if he had fallen into so mories.
"The death of your father was not the doing of Chongxu Sect; after we all together badly wounded Ning Potian, he vanished, and by the ti I was inford, he was already dead."
"So, when I learned of your identity this ti, I directly chose to have Chongxu Sect not partake."
Ning Fan listened quietly to all of this, observing the changes in the Supre Elder’s expression; at the mont, he did not appear to be lying.
There was no big vendetta with Chongxu Sect.
"Who killed my father?"
The Supre Elder shook his head.
"In fact, I don’t know if your father is dead or not, because none of us from the Five Great Sects ever saw his corpse."
"They said he was dead because the people from the Great Sects forced him to jump off a cliff. So whether he’s dead or alive, nobody knows."
This gave Ning Fan hope; his emotions stirred at the mont.
Did this an his father might still be alive?
Taking a deep breath, Ning Fan soon cald his inner excitent. Once again, he looked toward the Supre Elder and inquired about his mother.
"So... Senior, what do you know about my mother?"
"Your mother?"
The Supre Elder gave a bitter smile at this mont.
"Your mother almost destroyed the Five Great Sects with her own strength alone; if not for her showing rcy, the Five Great Sects would have ceased to exist."
"She is still alive, but she is not here, in a very powerful existence, that is the only family in Kunlun that can crush a sect."
"Ning Fan, I know nothing of that family, but I can tell you this—your mother left sothing behind in the secret realms of the Five Great Sects, yet they are all protected by powerful formations, unenterable by anyone less than a Nascent Soul Cultivator."
Ning Fan was shocked; the words of the Elder before him had exceeded all his expectations.
He had never imagined such a significant background for his mother.
However, now it seed his mother should still be alive.
"Senior, what do you think about my mother?"
"She was probably taken away by people of that family; I do not know where that family is, so you can only rely on yourself to find them."
After the Supre Elder spoke, his expression beca serious.
"Ning Fan, Chongxu Sect owes your father a debt, so whatever you need, just ask, and I will do my best to fulfill it."
"I want to enter the secret realm of Chongxu Sect."
Without any hesitation, Ning Fan expressed his wish.
The Supre Elder remained calm, seemingly having anticipated Ning Fan’s request.
"Agreed."
The Supre Elder took out a token, "Crush the token, and you can go to the secret realm. The secret realm has a ti limit; when the ti is up, it will send you out."
Ning Fan took the token, bowed deeply to the Supre Elder, and then imdiately crushed the token.
A flash of light enveloped Ning Fan, and in the blink of an eye, he had disappeared from the spot.
The next mont, Ning Fan found himself in a secret realm, unfamiliar surroundings all around him. He could only move step by step deeper into it.
...
Chongxu Sect, in a room.
Mr. Xuan sat in a chair, drinking tea indifferently, while sitting beside him was Chen Yunhai, the Sect Master of the Chongxu Sect.
Chen Yunhai set down his teacup, looking at Mr. Xuan with interest, "Senior, I’m curious about your origin, why have I never heard of you?"
A Pseudo Dan Peak cultivator should not be unknown among the sects.
Mr. Xuan smiled lightly, glanced at Chen Yunhai, and replied, "That’s not what you’re really interested in. You want to know my exact origins, don’t you?"
"I can tell you, even facing Nascent Soul Cultivators, I can fight without being defeated."
Chen Yunhai’s heart sank; the words of Mr. Xuan extinguished that slight hope in his heart. To be comparable to Nascent Soul Cultivators, that was not sothing his Chongxu Sect could handle.
Mr. Xuan glanced outside at the sky, his expression subtly changing. The young master has been gone for what seems like too long.
"Where is my young master now?"
