Chapter 1095: Chapter 1095: Once a Battle

"Boom!"

A trendous roar erupted, sending invisible shockwaves spreading in all directions, as the earth trembled and gales howled and surged.

Vice Sect Master Zhuang Peng and Huang Gu simply could not withstand the residual force and were shaken back several yards before finally steadying themselves.

Even though there wasn’t a large gap between their realms and Ning Fan’s, in reality, they were far from comparable.

After steadying themselves, they both looked up in unison, filled with hope.

Yet, the opening of the gate they were hoping for did not occur.

The White Mist Gate seed to be in a different space entirely; Ning Fan’s punch just now had distorted the air around it, but had not affected the gate in the slightest.

"Let’s do it again."

Ning Fan swiped his right palm over the Qiankun Ring, and the Jadestone Mini-sword fell into his grasp, his robust Spiritual Power pouring into it.

The sword beam burst forth, carrying with it formidable strength, and slamd fiercely into the White Mist Gate.

However, this strike still had no effect.

Ning Fan’s brows were tightly furrowed, his eyes filled with solemnity and confusion.

The White Mist Gate’s existence was very strange, and entirely different from what he had imagined.

His attacks were indeed hitting sothing, but it felt as if there were countless unknown entities in between.

His power landing on the White Mist Gate was instantly weakened by these nurous entities before finally touching the actual gate, naturally having no effect whatsoever.

Taking a deep breath, Ning Fan cald the roiling Spiritual Power within him.

"This won’t do, there’s sothing wrong with the White Mist Gate; re brute force won’t allow us to leave. We should explore within the Secret Realm first; perhaps we will find a way to depart."

"Moreover, those guys outside will definitely not let things rest, we just need to survive in here ensuring not to provoke that terrifying being from before, and when they co in again, we can take the opportunity to escape."

Ning Fan turned to face the two, speaking in a deep voice.

Zhuang Peng and Huang Gu, of course, had no objections, and followed behind Ning Fan into the deeper parts of the Secret Realm.

They made their way through and soon entered deep into the dense forest.

"What an aroma."

Ning Fan suddenly wrinkled his nose, turning his head towards a certain direction.

Not far away, there stood a plant of Spiritual dicine.

Without hesitation, Ning Fan pocketed it and continued leading the other two deeper into the realm.

Along the way, they were pleasantly surprised to find a large number of Spiritual dicines, each of them so ancient that even in Kunlun they would be considered rare.

Even more so, they discovered broken Magic Artifacts here.

"Sect Master, these artifacts have been damaged in battle, it seems this place must have seen an extrely fierce fight."

Feeling the aura coming from the artifacts, Huang Gu’s brows couldn’t help but twitch.

Even though the artifact was completely damaged beyond use, he could still sense from it a palpable sense of dread.

It was obvious just how powerful the Cultivator who had wielded this artifact must have been.

Against that individual, he would likely only et instant death.

Ning Fan’s expression grew even grimr as he sensed a familiar aura from this artifact.

The sa aura as that from the Sundry Chandeliers, Long Saber.

"These artifacts... have they once been in contact with my father?"

He collected these broken artifacts and continued leading the two deeper.

Very soon, their surroundings beca increasingly hostile, the terrifying marks left from battles many years ago still exuded a dreadful aura.

"What on earth happened here? Why are there so many traces of battles within this Secret Realm? Could it be that soone had entered here before and a fierce fight broke out over treasures?"

However, this guess was simultaneously refuted by both Huang Gu and Zhuang Peng.

"If this Secret Realm had been opened by others before, there should have been so rumors at least, but before today, we had not heard any news related to this Secret Realm."

"Indeed, just that terrifying presence from before, probably, only the Five Great Sects together could contend against it, how could there be no whispers about it?"

A sudden thought flashed through Ning Fan’s mind.

"What if that battle took place within the Secret Realm from its outset, wouldn’t it be normal for the outside world to have not heard any inklings of it?"

Just as they were planning to continue their exploration, a horrific presence suddenly spread out, enveloping them instantly.

"Not good!"

Ning Fan was startled and imdiately grabbed Zhuang Peng and Huang Gu, trying to flee.

Damn it, why did that thing wake up all of a sudden?!

...

In the Posuo Forest, Tan Xi and Qian Hong were leading the remaining Disciples, constantly fending off their pursuers.

"Left."

Qian Hong suddenly made his move, slashing with his saber.

His robust Spiritual Power converged into a saber beam as sharp as divine silk, fiercely cleaving through an empty space.

At the mont when the saber beam struck, a Disciple from the Sharp Peak Mountain Sect abruptly appeared there, colliding head-on.

To the onlookers, it seed as if that Disciple had deliberately charged into it.

"Spurt!"

Blood splashed, and the disciple was bisected on the spot, blood gushing out like a fountain.

"Keep moving!"

After killing the disciple from the Sharp Peak Mountain Sect with no hesitation to linger, Qian Hong continued leading the disciples, fighting and retreating all at once.

After finally shaking off all the pursuers, the group had ti to rest.

"Old Tan, what should we do now? Shall we just keep fleeing?" Qian Hong’s expression was grave as he asked in a heavy tone.

Tan Xi glanced at the disciples covered in wounds, his eyes also flitting with seriousness.

Their cultivations were not as strong as Zhuang Peng’s; indeed, they could easily defeat those Sect Disciples.
