56: save5 The Phone Call

Lu Lele first called Liu Lili's mother.

Lu Lele wasn't polite this ti. She started right off by saying she already knew what had happened last night and this morning, making her attitude clear that she was unhappy and demanding an explanation.

"Please apologize to Lili and imdiately."

Lu Lele spoke calmly and firmly, then turned on the recording.

Of course, getting an apology wasn't an easy task. However, Lu Lele hadn't lived through her previous attempt of nearly half a year for nothing. After so many cycles, Lu Lele was full of confidence, no longer lacking the courage she had the first ti she called Liu Lili's parents.

She had collected plenty of information on Liu Lili's family and knew their weaknesses inside out.

As expected, accusations ca from the other end of the phone. Lu Lele gave a scornful snort and said in a haughty tone:

"Oh? Why should I speak nicely to you? Do you think I have a reason to be nice to you? I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, a sheltered young miss born above commoners like you. The wages you work so hard to earn for a month are nothing but a fraction of my pocket money. Why should I treat you as an equal?"

"Decades of your hard work can't even reach the starting line of my life. Just like the attitude you hold toward your daughter, I have never looked at you as anything significant. Before, I was polite to you because you are Lili's parent. But now that you have made Lili suffer this kind of tornt, do you think I will still be polite to you?"

Lu Lele finished this long speech without taking a breath, feeling incredibly relieved.

To be honest, Lu Lele didn't like using social status and class to oppress others. Before this, she wouldn't have deigned to do so, and she absolutely wouldn't have said sothing like "I am a sheltered young miss born above commoners like you."

But the other party had touched Lu Lele's reverse scale. She no longer planned to show any rcy.

Forgiving them is God's business. If she could, Lu Lele would send them to God herself. Of course, the best result would be sending them to hell.

But if she really did that, Liu Lili would be sad. So, for now, Lu Lele could only run her mouth.

To get justice for her beloved, to retaliate against the beasts who hurt her beloved, Lu Lele would stop at nothing. She could use any thods she despised and say any words she previously disdained.

Even if this speech made Lu Lele seem like an arrogant villainous young miss who looked down on commoners, she did it anyway. She didn't care what the other person thought; she just wanted to make Liu Lili's mother understand that she was an existence whose social class stood above hers, soone she couldn't afford to provoke.

The other end of the phone was no longer calm, starting to accuse Lu Lele of being rude. Lu Lele had no intention of retreating:

"For a piece of trash from the bottom of society like you, do you think I need to be polite? I'll tell you the truth, I'm already suppressing my nausea just by calling you. The mont I think of what you did to Lili, what you said, I want to throw up, like I'm seeing a dog eating sh*t. You actually dared to bully my best friend like that. I cannot accept it. You must apologize to Lili and ."

"I'm still using honorifics right now, which is only out of respect for you being Lili's mother. I really don't want to use words like 'dog thing' to taint Lili's bloodline. Do you understand?"

Lu Lele's sharp words broke the other woman's defenses. She started cursing at Lu Lele and prepared to hang up.

Lu Lele realized the crucial mont had arrived. She sneered and said:

"Don't be in such a hurry to hang up. I think you'll definitely be interested in what I say next. You might not know, but my sister is an executive at the tobacco company. She knows people in both the white and black worlds. That is to say, if you make unhappy, I only have to tell my sister, and perhaps in the days to co, you and your family will encounter a series of misfortunes."

Naturally, the other end expressed disbelief. The corner of Lu Lele's mouth lifted, and she recited the lines she had prepared:

"You don't believe ? I know your family still owes quite a bit of debt, right? You work at the XXX Tobacco Processing Factory, and your husband works at the XXX Cannery. What you don't know is that my sister happens to be an executive at the company that owns your factory. And the boss's wife of the XXX Cannery is my sister's best friend."

"Perhaps you and your husband are outstanding workers. But my sister can make you and your husband lose your jobs today. You could make a bet with to see which of you and your husband will receive the termination letter first? My guess... it'll be you first. What do you think?"

As she spoke, Lu Lele revealed a wicked, charmingly cold smile.

Of course, Lu Lele knew that just relying on her status as a little rich girl wasn't enough to make the other party bow.

At most, it would make the other party think: "You're a second-generation rich kid, so what? What can you do to ?"

Coincidentally, Lu Lele really could do sothing to her.

So Lu Lele let her know this.

When real interests were at stake, Liu Lili's mother couldn't remain calm anymore.

Lu Lele knew very well that only substantive threats were the magic weapon to defeat the enemy.

The other end of the phone finally couldn't sit still. Her attitude instantly did a one-eighty turn, becoming submissive. Her tone beca low and humble, asking carefully what Lu Lele wanted to do.

"I don't want to do anything special. What I want is very simple."

Lu Lele maintained her haughty tone:

"First, you have to apologize to Lili. Second, from now on, every weekend, Lili will stay at my house. On Fridays, she won't go to her aunt's house to help anymore."

Lu Lele paused, then continued:

"Out of respect for you being Lili's relative, I will reluctantly bestow upon you, a piece of bottom-feeding trash, so money as compensation for letting Liu Lili live at my house. I will also hire a housekeeper for Lili's aunt. The amount is one hundred thousand. If, when you apologize in a mont, you add the sentence, 'I am the most incompetent, most failed, brother-favoring, misogynistic mother in the world who isn't fit to be a parent, you stupid bitch,' and repeat this sentence one hundred tis, I can give you another one hundred thousand."

The other side of the phone fell silent for a mont.

Faced with one hundred thousand yuan, Liu Lili's mother made her choice.

"I am the most incompetent, most failed, brother-favoring, misogynistic mother in the world who isn't fit to be a parent, you stupid bitch..."

"I am the most incompetent, most failed, brother-favoring, misogynistic mother in the world who isn't fit to be a parent, you stupid bitch..."

Lu Lele listened to the middle-aged woman on the phone trampling on her dignity and apologizing over and over again. A happy smile appeared on her face.

With every repetition, the expression of pleasure on Lu Lele's face intensified.

It felt good. It felt so damn good.

People who hurt Lili deserved this kind of punishnt.

But it still wasn't enough.

After the hundred repetitions were finished, Lu Lele spoke like a demanding client, using a dissatisfied tone:

"Since you said that so reluctantly just now, I can at most give you another ten thousand at most. I hope you realize exactly what a failure of a mother you are. Goodbye."

Saying that, Lu Lele paid no further attention to whatever reaction Liu Lili's mother might have and hung up the phone directly.
