152: save2 Experinting
Lu Lele imdiately tried moving her body so more, and finally reached a conclusion.
That was, after chanting that strange Ancient Elf Language with Zhang Lenglan and then taking a nap, the sickly constitution of this body had miraculously vanished.
Who would have thought! I can walk normally now!
Not only could she walk, she could even skip and jump!
Even a high-difficulty move like high kicks was no longer an issue!
Lu Lele was excited beyond words, bouncing and jumping around the room, circling left three tis and right three tis, twisting her neck and wiggling her butt, looking exactly like she did back on Blue Star when she spent her whole life failing to draw a rare card only to suddenly pull a gold one in a single draw.
This was also the happiest mont Lu Lele had experienced since coming to the second world.
You must know, although she had gotten used to this body’s sickliness, getting used to needing a maid's help for everything, even having to be carried just to walk.
But that didn't an Lu Lele was truly willing to just lie flat and be a good-for-nothing who depended on others for clothing and food.
In any world, Lu Lele liked to hold her destiny in her own hands. She liked to actively bring about change, rather than passively accept it.
Even though the Lu Lele of the second world really couldn't be as action-oriented as she was in the previous world, Lu Lele still tried hard to utilize her intelligence and identity, attempting to make everything proceed according to her plan.
Even the failed ending of Save 1 was a result of Lu Lele's active attempt, not a passive ending she just walked into.
Now that the sickly attribute had suddenly vanished, the feeling for Lu Lele wasn't just pleasantly sour; it was simply heavenly.
However, Lu Lele still maintained this body's strong points, which were steadiness and calmness.
The joy lasted for about two minutes before stopping, and Lu Lele returned to her usual tranquility.
She reached out a hand, then cast her gaze at her palm.
Lu Lele recalled that dream she had once had.
In the dream, Lu Lele saw a city composed entirely of white sand, gradually dissipating in the wind.
If the Lu Lele of the past didn't know what this dream ant and just found it shocking, then Lu Lele now knew.
Turning everything she touched into white sand.
This was the ability of Lu Lele's mother, the White Witch.
The Earl said the White Witch had passed her power down to Lu Lele, and now with Zhang Lenglan's help, Lu Lele seed to have awakened the power within her body.
The fact that Lu Lele was no longer sickly but had recovered her health and vitality was proof enough of that.
So, did this an that the current Lu Lele could also turn the things she touched into white sand?
Lu Lele tried touching the newspaper on the desk.
Nothing happened naturally.
She tried to focus her mind, to see if she could sense the mana within her like in other novels, but that didn't work either.
"As expected, it doesn't work..."
Lu Lele mumbled to herself, but she didn't lose heart.
Perhaps using this ability also required chanting the Ancient Elf Language first, just like awakening the power.
She just needed to ask Zhang Lenglan about that.
And in reality, Lu Lele did exactly that.
Of course, Lu Lele didn't recklessly reveal that her sickly attribute had vanished. She still let Zhang Yuelu carry her to Zhang Lenglan's room.
No matter what, it was better to be cautious. The current Lu Lele was no longer that little loli who knew nothing about her own situation.
Through the information revealed by the Earl, she knew that there were pairs of eyes inside the Earl's mansion right now staring at her. That was surveillance directed at a suspected underage Witch.
Once Lu Lele showed any obvious changes, this intelligence would be passed on to the major factions within a few days, and the insects lying in wait would start to stir.
Lu Lele didn't want to add trouble to her currently peaceful daily life. Therefore, unless there was sothing that absolutely required exposing the disappearance of her sickly attribute, Lu Lele would continue to maintain her previous appearance for now, pretending she was still that sickly young lady who couldn't even walk steadily.
Anyway, after so many days, she was long used to it. Lu Lele could easily maintain the status quo. Even if she really had to expose it later, a day or half wouldn't make a difference.
After finding Zhang Lenglan again, Lu Lele expressed that she felt her body was a bit better and felt much more energetic than before, and ca to express her gratitude to Zhang Lenglan for this.
Then, intentionally or otherwise, Lu Lele asked a question:
"I heard from Dad that whether it's God's Favorites or Witches, they can all use extraordinary powers. Can I too?"
"You definitely can." Zhang Lenglan answered very certainly.
"Then how do I do it?" Lu Lele asked.
Zhang Lenglan replied:
"I'm not clear. Historically, when God's Favorites or Witches use their own abilities, they just use them directly. They themselves should know how to use the abilities; there isn't a unified thod."
"Moreover, according to records, almost all Witches use their abilities for the first ti only after reaching adulthood. Perhaps they only know how to use their abilities after reaching adulthood."
"Alright."
Lu Lele nodded, paused slightly, then began to ask another question she had held back for a long ti:
"By the way, Teacher Zhang, what about that black leaf you ntioned before? Should we deal with it?"
"Ah, if you hadn't ntioned it, Young Miss, I really would have forgotten."
Zhang Lenglan scratched her head slightly embarrassed, saying:
"I will teach you right now how to sever your connection with it."
In the end, Lu Lele followed Zhang Lenglan and chanted a few sentences of unintelligible Ancient Elf Language again.
Surprisingly enough, the effect was quite significant. The originally incredibly rotten black leaf could have barely kept its existence from falling apart, but now, in the blink of an eye, it turned into fine powder. Touch it with a finger, and it crumbled.
"Is that it?"
"Mm."
"By the way, Teacher Zhang, I'm quite curious about the Ancient Elf Language. Can you teach a little more?"
Lu Lele was originally just holding a "let's give it a try" attitude and didn't expect Zhang Lenglan to agree.
Unexpectedly, Zhang Lenglan didn't really hesitate and nodded. As she spoke, she handed a book beside her to Lu Lele:
"No problem. This book is a comparison of so simple common language and Ancient Elf Language. Feel free to take it and look, Young Miss."
For Lu Lele, this was completely an unexpected surprise. She hurriedly took the book and said:
"Thank you, Teacher Zhang."
Lu Lele wanted to figure out if she really could use the sa ability as the White Witch.
If the answer was yes, then for Lu Lele, there was no doubt it could greatly reduce the difficulty of the conquest. At the very least, it would let her stop worrying about getting bullied because she couldn't beat others.
However, this matter actually held certain risks.
After all, judging from the intelligence Lu Lele had collected so far, it seed Witches had to wait until adulthood to control their powers. Recklessly trying to use abilities might bring about bad effects.
