145: save2 New Discoveries
Lu Lele smiled and greeted Liu Lili, asking with overflowing energy:
"Good morning, Lili. How did you sleep last night? Did you feel comfortable?"
"It was alright."
Liu Lili responded with a sowhat helpless smile.
She actually wanted to rest properly, but a stunning beauty had co to find her to sleep together in the middle of the night. With soft jade in her arms, she couldn't calm her heart at all, let alone sleep well.
However, Liu Lili felt she hadn't lost out. The Earl's daughter being willing to sleep with her represented a very high level of fondness. Judging by last night, Lu Lele seed to be just a ntally immature and innocent little loli. Conquering her would definitely be much easier than imagined.
Of course, whether she had truly lost out or not was a different story.
Watching Lu Lele smiling sweetly at her, Liu Lili's heart trembled once more.
She wasn't willing to admit it, but last night she had indeed produced a feeling she had never experienced before.
Liu Lili discovered that she had fallen for Lu Lele, frail, beautiful, and cute. This kind of liking was very pure. It wasn't a good feeling generated by self-brainwashing for the sake of conquest.
However, Liu Lili felt that this kind of fondness wouldn't affect her conquest mission. On the contrary, it would let things go even more smoothly with the wind at her back. Therefore, she didn't care too much about it.
Just like that, a new day began.
Today was the second day since Liu Lili arrived at Lu Lele's ho, and also the last rest day of this week.
Lu Lele knew very clearly that the matter of her going to find Liu Lili to sleep together last night would definitely be known by her cheap father. Her new personal maid, Zhang Yuelu, would absolutely inform the Earl of this.
To be honest, Lu Lele was still a tiny bit worried about the Earl's reaction. If he felt this was bad and ca out to intervene, cutting off the overly intimate connection between the two of them, the impact would be obvious.
However, in reality, the Earl didn't express a single thing about it. Instead, the gaze he cast upon Liu Lili beca even more kindly.
Lu Lele read her father's attitude from this, the Earl seemingly didn't care at all about her building a good relationship with Liu Lili. Sleeping together was fine too. It looked like he was even quite supportive of it.
This cheap father of hers really seed to dote on his precious daughter imnsely.
Subconsciously, Lu Lele no longer viewed the Earl as an obstacle that would threaten her conquest of Liu Lili. Of course, she still kept a card up her sleeve. In front of Zhang Yuelu, Lu Lele would absolutely never reveal her true thoughts.
Better safe than sorry. As her biological father and the master of the castle, the Earl could produce a decisive and massive influence on Lu Lele. Since he possessed this kind of ability, Lu Lele had to attach importance to the Earl's attitude.
As the old saying goes, caution makes the ship last ten thousand years.
Lu Lele wouldn't forget how she died in the last save. Although that kind of death thod was indeed a bit outrageous, since the Strange God said she could have avoided it, that represented that Lu Lele still wasn't cautious enough.
Lu Lele had the room for trial and error, but that didn't an she was willing to use her life to make up for those loopholes that could have been avoided. This was purely a waste of ti and life, completely aningless.
...
In the morning, Lu Lele actively went to find Liu Lili to play, and even had Zhang Yuelu bring many toys from her toy collection, basically all kinds of dolls.
Judging by appearances, Liu Lili wasn't very interested in these little girl toys, but she still played with Lu Lele. However, the impatience between her brows was obvious.
Even if Liu Lili was very precocious, she wasn't good at hiding her emotions at all tis. After all, she was only thirteen. Although she had undergone training, compared to a true special agent, she was still far off.
Lu Lele discovered this point and actively started to guide the flow, turning playing with dolls into chatting. She began pulling Liu Lili to chat together.
Originally, finding Liu Lili to play gas was just an excuse.
Her primary goal was still to communicate with Liu Lili to obtain useful intelligence.
Liu Lili's enthusiasm for chatting was clearly much higher than for playing with dolls, and she very quickly started to communicate with Lu Lele, forgetting herself in the conversation.
Lu Lele first started with polite pleasantries, asking Liu Lili if she was satisfied living here and if the food suited her palate.
Then, she started chatting about their past lives.
Lu Lele first unfolded a wave of mories herself, giving a small narration of her experiences growing up from childhood. She especially detailed the event that had the biggest impact on Lu Lele, going to the noble school to study and getting scolded by a bunch of little nobles for being a Witch. It counted as a small act of selling misery.
While recalling this matter, Lu Lele moved with genuine emotion. She started shedding tears pitter-patter halfway through, provoking Liu Lili until she couldn't help but step forward to comfort her, even taking the initiative to hug Lu Lele.
However, while recalling this painful experience that had made her feel, Lu Lele unexpectedly discovered a logical loophole she had never noticed in the past.
It was also a fact that was very, very strange, to the point where Lu Lele couldn't help but frown her brows.
That was, Lu Lele originally actually didn't need to go to the noble school for her studies. Relying on the Earl's influence and ability, he could have completely let Lu Lele study inside the castle directly, rather than making the superfluous move of sending her to the noble school, only to bring her back after sothing happened.
You had to know, Lu Lele's body hadn't been very good since she was little. It was originally hard for her to adapt to the collective life of a noble school. The Earl couldn't possibly not understand this.
And the Earl similarly couldn't possibly be unclear about what kind of serious consequences would be triggered once a white-haired daughter went to school to study and her hair color was discovered.
Especially that wig used to cover it up. It was really a bit too perfunctory, full of the aning of plugging one's ears while stealing a bell. In reality, it would fall off at a touch, letting Lu Lele's head full of silver threads be exposed without any concealnt in front of the entire class.
Lu Lele could now basically determine that this matter was orchestrated single-handedly by the Earl. Otherwise, there was simply no logic to speak of.
Lu Lele completely couldn't figure out why the Earl would do this. Clearly knowing this would make his young daughter suffer censure and ridicule from the crowd, and feel severe pain, yet he still insisted on sending Lu Lele to the noble school. It was simply like rigidly following a script, difficult to understand.
Lu Lele thought of two possibilities.
The first was that the Earl, for so unspeakable reason, needed this event to happen. He had to put on a show, otherwise he couldn't let Lu Lele return ho to study.
The second was a sowhat malicious guess. Those noble kids all knew she was a Witch, and Zhang Lenglan also said she possessed powerful energy within her. The outside world had always circulated rumors that the Earl's daughter was a Witch.
So, could the Earl really be unclear about all this?
Would he really not know just how imnse value his daughter actually held?
If he didn't know, then one could only say he was a tiny bit slow.
But the Earl was clearly very astute. It wasn't very likely he wouldn't be clear about a matter so closely tied to his daughter.
If the Earl really knew, then the riddle was even greater.
Following this train of thought, it seed one could dig up a lot of extraordinary intelligence.
However, Lu Lele didn't spend too much energy thinking on this problem.
She decided to directly go find the Earl to ask for clarity when the ti ca. For now, chatting with Liu Lili was still a bit more important.
