Chapter 93: Chapter 92: The real test begins

Rein smiled as the whole party was jubilated, it was amazing to sweep the whole battlefield with surprise, he never thought Quetz could be so useful.

Earlier during the journey, Rein being person used to gaming and he was particularly familiar with the fantasy setting but before now he had been occupied with how he could secure his life and earn a lot that he forgot all the life he had lived before now, Rein’s state might have been exaggerated by himself, but he knew the pain of having to live at the very bottom of the hierarchy, it was very hard to detach himself and make himself forget the feeling, humans tend to often forget about hardship easily and gets accustod to peace and joy easily but it’s never easy to get rid of the fear of going back to their forr state so it was the only normal sense that he would secure himself before seeing any other thing. But the thought of death hit him hard for the first ti, realizing that he could die and all that he had been trying to do will be for nought. He could die overnight, he could die tomorrow, he was aware of it every step he took so he was going to maximize all the jas towards his survival, first, the goal is leaving the Academy unscathed, if a normal percentage of dying in the new world was 50% then in the academy it rose by 40%. This was Rein’s thinking; now he was being himself again, that young boy that used to play gas all day and lead the player ranking, that young boy that has created tens of online guilds in different gas, that young RedGod was Rein this mont.

"So you are saying if we could find a magician mass teleportation could be possible, how do you even know such a thing, I’ve never heard of a magician teleporting thousands of people except the person is a nine circle magician and even as at that over 4000 is too much."

"I can do it"

"..."

Everyone’s attention looked towards where the voice had co from.

"Do you seriously think this is a joke?" Zolin was the first to talk.

"Stop it Zolin"

Rein looked towards Quetz, "What’s your job, you have not told anyone until now?"

"I’ve not told anyone because it is embarrassing"

"Co on Quetz we are..."

"Save that up for later Rein, I’m not like everyone, you don’t have to make

feel better, it’s a fact I have a crappy class, don’t try to make

feel better by saying those dumb shit like you can lean on blah blah blah, then start making promises you can’t keep, I’m way not for that, I’m okay"

’Why is every mber of the imperial family twisted’

"... I’m a basic magician, you know the ones that can’t do magic except they get skill books or rune crappy right"

’Is this pure coincidence or....’

Rein told everyone to give him space. He checked his inventory and checked the skill books he had stolen from the library in hopes of being a magician, he also was not sure what rune looked like but the system could not identify any of the items the elf gave him and he was quite familiar with runic inscriptions, of course, he had played BDO, he took out the black stone and the few books he had and returned to them, they all stood in the middle of the forest waiting to sort things out.

Quetz’s eyes brightened as she saw the black mass Rein was holding with him as he approached them.

"What!! You...!! How?!"

On approaching them, "Judging by your expression this is it right? A rune?"

"Co on! This is not just any rune, it’s a SS class rune, whatever spell you get from this could be as strong as a 7 circle magician in his advanced mana stage..." His expression got gloomy "... I don’t think I can learn this"

"Then just keep it till whenever you can" Rein gave her the runes and skill books.

"I might not be able to teleport four thousand but I can give ten a try"

’Now that’s the spirit’

"Oh, so you know teleportation" Zolin mockingly asked.

"That’s basic magic spells"

Rein looked around and smirked...

’AOE’

He touched Quetz by her shoulder, "teleport , Sigrid, lorrim, Maxi, Bra..."

"Braschiold" He embarrassingly completed his na before Rein called him what he’s not.

"...yea Brasch- "

"Braschioldddddiii, co on Bra-schi-old"

"...that one, Zolin, Ms Estrid, Drake and Mr Garret; my individual"

"Eh... I’m not going" Jon was surprised Rein was actually going to be doing this without him"

"I have a plan and most importantly it’s only you, I can trust to successfully march the army to our rendezvous point"

"Ahh... I see" Jon looked a bit disappointed but he was pleased.

Rein looked at Sigrid greedily,

She could tell the look, "don’t tell ..."

Rein nodded his head sharply "I’m sorry but if you give us a chance all might go well as I have it in my head"

"tch, I never realised you had a head" She murmured.

It was how they were able to best everyone and earned the right to obtain the 2500 APs price. Rein was relaxed but everything was just beginning of course he knew that. And he was desperately racking his head on how he could end all this, Intel had arrived but nothing over-effective was available, just the sa usual, the intel they had was not enough to claim an upper hand. Rein sat down as he was lost in thought.

’Would infiltrating their base be a wise choice, better still how do we pull them out for an all-out war, even if we fight an all-out war, we a loosing in numbers, plus with their monstrous strength... arrhhh this is annoying....’

Rein rested his back, ’or shall I just kill their boss... but I don’t know how strong he is, I could die instead’

Jon entered inside with a teacup in his hand, he placed it on the table and smiled at Rein.

"Serving

tea... is it your hubby"

"It kinda beca my hubby"

Rein was lost for words at his reply, "not that it’s really sweet or anything"

’Damn why are these guys being like this’

He drank the tea and imdiately spew it out. "What the...." He looked at Jon who was still grinning.

"How courageous of you, going to the battlefield without , I think you like bitter tea, you would enjoy bitter tea so much if not why else would you go to the battlefield without , how cocky of you SIR REIN"

"Eh..."

"..."

".....are... you serious right now"

Jon looked at him with a straight face.

Rein looked away, "... I guess you really were mad...."

’is this a psychopath’

"I figured making a little joke would lift your mood"

’he definitely is’

"You were not looking too good, sotis worrying too much will do you no good, follow your instincts and ride the flow"

Rein’s face relaxed as Jon finished, he lowered his head then asked, "how are you able to do it"

"Huh..?"

"Being a prodigy, knowing so much, being able to do almost everything, and all, how did you learn it, how are you so good?"

Jon smiled and brushed through his spiky hair, "when you are bearing so many responsibilities that is the best way to grow...I had to carry too many burdens at such a young age, don’t be envious of . It wasn’t a good thing"

He looked deeply at Rein from where he stood, "Hidden behind that careless, nonchalant rich brat I could see a young ... in had to save

again, so it wasn’t a coincidence that I decided to stick with you... I just wanted to save myself, perhaps if I can save that young

that I see, I could find answers to how to save myself."

Rein raised his head, "I’m often not good with words but I can at least promise not to disappoint you"

"That’s enough... well then I have a bonus for you"

"What do you an?"

"The fangdorrs are not just utilizing the green orcs, the red orcs too and possibly the high orcs, which will be a big deal. If the high orcs join before we decide, this war will be way over us and the union itself might have to step in"

"If that happens we automatically fail the 2nd test"

"But we could still pass, we have 2500 points already"

"You are right...but if the war becos over us, then innocent lives would be in danger won’t it?"

Jon looked surprised, ’when did he start to care about the lives of innocent people’

"probably..."

".... I’ve been through wars, maybe not as large as this but my point is I have seen lives lost, if I probably have the power to change it I wouldn’t mind trying"

Jon’s eye widened then shrank back, "Rein"

"Hmm..."

"Why.... why did you change?"

"I didn’t, let’s say my life used to be so ssed up, as a result, I was focusing on the wrong thing but now, I think I can be myself again"

"hmmm.... well then, if we will continue to participate in the war then it’s not for our sake, keep the reason to yourself, those young lads might not understand. Well then..."

Jon sat down at his front and rolled out the large map on the table in between them.

"... do you know this war was never ant to be a war that we need to drag for even four days"

"what are you trying to say?"

"The key was to destroy the Fangdorr, which would be very possible if we join forces, all the students and their soldiers and then go on an all-out attack. The academy knew it would be very much easier for us this way yet appointed us different soldiers and told us to defeat the Fangdorrs, why, they could have easily done it in terms of rit. but then why?"

Rein looked at him....

"Because they knew that would’ve been too easy. We have to achieve unity and strike the Fangdorr before the high orcs and red orcs join the fight... this is the real test"

"So the second test isn’t about defeating the Fangdorrs?..."

"The second test isn’t just about defeating the Fangdorrs alone but also unity"

"Ahh... that’s crazy coming from the academy" Rein lashed out and rested his back on his chair "now we are in deep shit"
