Chapter 34: War: Kaha Province II
The bald man with thick black beards stared at the silver Knight for a long while then sigh and smiled,
"thank you Jonas"
"don’t thank
for what I should be doing"
He walked out of the general commander,
"sir commander are all silver knights like this, he’s really proud.." the bomber leader said.
"haha, don’t do that, all silver Knight aren’t like Jonas, you should especially et Nilus the Silver knight commander and rank number 1, he’s sweet"
"ohhh rank 1, I heard he rarely cos out of the palace"
"yes Nilus is a quite busy kid, Jonas turned out like this because he’s the son of a duke.... Duke Griswold vou Donzel’s first son, so much expectations were placed on him at a young age, so he matured pretty early"
"waow Duke Donzel must be so proud of him, he’s son is the seventh rank silver knight"

The bomb expert leader moved closer to the Commander general’s front, it was obvious what he wanted to do,
"ehm.... You seem so close with the silver knights you even address them by na,... do you actually think it’s possible to uhmm... find

" hahahahahah..... You heard wrong mister, the knights ranking is the one place corruption does not reach, just brute strength if you want to be in the silver knight’s ranking you first have to be a normal foot soldier then after years of war experience, challenge an unranked silver Knight, if you make a good impression the silver knight might recruit you, then when you are worthy you’ll be given a chance to challenge the ranked silver knights, if you win the spot is yours...hahah"
The man went out disappointed, "so long process..."
The general commander looked at his back as he went out and laughed, one of his generals entered,
"reporting sir"
"yes, sir Defflien"
"my troops are ready..."
"ok I guess we would be trusting your archery skills for the main ti"
"however sir..."
"what is it?"
"it seems a war eting was held yesterday"
"yesterday...? Was there another eting apart from the one that caused our movent"
"yes, according to my elder brother Duke Spooner, it seems it was a closed eting between the dukes and the king, it was to select the empire’s army lord, as the position has been vacant since the death of the forr army lord"

but it seems like the empire is planning sothing big with this new squad."
"the empire is always like that sir Defflien, well thank you for the information, I really like that you are on my side"

"anyway our enemies would be arriving soon, let’s move"
The Commander general and the rest of the generals climbed up to the walls of the province, the flag of the empire could be seen in view as they ca out of the forest to the plain ground that not even a living plant survived on due to the frequent bloodshed, the Azure Empire army ca in view, imdiately the archers raised up the arrows and began to shoot in the air, the azure army imdiately brought up their shield and took almost no damage but imdiately after the arrows followed fire arrows, the shields imdiately caught fire, the fire spread than usual fires and they were able to imdiately depict that it was a magic powered fire. The mage got up front and faced the commander in front of the azure army.
"after I do this, I’ll use up a lot of mana therefore I would be inactive for a long while"
"do not worry sir Jorek, we are capable of protecting to you."
"assign that boy to protect , he’s the only one I can trust."
"you an... the boy that protected us earlier"
"yes"
The mage for the first ti began to chant, the magic orb in his staff began to glow brighter than usual, the clouds began to get darker and thunders continued to rumble in the clouds, the Forgan Empire army looked up in fear. The commander general especially regretted that they didn’t request the presence of the red and blue knight, now they had to worry about a powerful mage.
"judging by how there’s no reaction yet, it must be a type of attack that takes long to cast... But it’s only one man."
"do you think you can take care of him Jonas?"
"going there would be reckless"
"how about throwing him a spear or sothing...."
"do you think a mage that knows he’ll be casting a long spell like this leave himself defenseless"
"that’s true..."
"but still it’s not like it’ll hurt to try" The silver Knight Sir Jonas collected a spear from on the general, everyone gave him space. He pushed his left leg backwards and raised the spear backwards he was holding with so much force as well as fusing the spear with aura, his aura was plane and white but thicker and sharper than that of the bomb experts, it showed he had a higher aura mastery than them. The floor he’s left leg rested on began to crack, after fusing a lot of aura for awhile he finally threw the spear the breeze impact almost could blow a full grown man away.
The mage smirked as he saw the incoming attack, he showed no worry as he continued to chant, one of the general ran front, no one had stopped him or said anything because it wasn’t a bad idea to stop it if he could, and the general who stepped forward wasn’t a weak general either, sir Selios who was also a spear expert and was in charge of the training of the Azure empire Spearman. He got in stance and got his right hand ready to catch the approaching spear.
’’stupid’’ Knight Jonas murmured with a smirk.

He couldn’t even stopped the spear for a second yet that was not his greatest sha. The thrown spear, imdiately tore off his hand as he tried to hold it, his hand fell to the ground four ters after where he stood, which showed that the hand was pulled out by the force at which the spear was thrown, he fell to his knees and quickly used his other hand to try to stop his bleed yet he was awfully crying.
The spear collided with the mage’s magical shield, it did not stop but instead began to spin and drill into the mage’s shield which began to slowly crack, the mage imdiately put another layer of shield inside he couldn’t help but be distracted as he had thought his shield would easily stop the spear, yet it seems the spear would break his shield.
’it was just like back then....those three silver knights.... don’t tell ...’ He belatedly realized the person that threw the sword might be another silver knight, he began to wear a worried expression on his face.
The army commander seeing this wielded his two handed big sword and hit the spear but instead got pushed back by the impact, the spear however continued to spin and was now successfully breaking the first shield layer, it penetrated and continued to drill into the second layer which imdiately cracked. Suddenly a barbaric looking man grabbed the spear with his bear hands, bloods began to burst out of the veins on his hand but he did not let go, instead he used more strength and began to pull the spear away, he continued to struggle with all his might but soon successfully withdrew the spear and twisted his entire body and trajectory in order to send the spear back in the direction it ca from, he fell on his butt and watched the spear fly back at its thrower, he hurriedly started to catch his breathe and slowly stood up.
"move away"
Sir Jonas looking serious, instructed the general commander who imdiately stepped away and urged other generals to do the sa. The spear ca at them but the silver Knight caught it with his left hand, even though his armor gauntlet was shattered to pieces, he didn’t look like took damages in his hand but instantly scoffed,
’I have so much to look forward to in this battle’ He left the scene without saying a word. The archers began to shoot up their flaming arrows again.
