Chapter 298: The Palatium Cadre
Kuthuya was awed as he saw what revealed itself beyond the catacombs.
"You an this is Ruinspoke village?" He said.
"It’s Tytira kingdom now." Vishva said, "Let’s go" she walked ahead, Kuthuya and Sigrid followed.
They reached the gate.
"Identify yourself" a winged dragonborn behind the caged design gate said. She opened her hood, he imdiately gave the order to open the gate.
"I guess you are still the leader of the Platinum Cadre, seeing as they respect you so much" Kuthuya said.
"No, I’m not, many things happened but drash is the one leading now but yes, I still remain an important figure within Tytira itself and that is because I am the assistant instructor of the Lance defender"
"Then who leads Ruinspoke, Tytira I an"
She stopped and squinted her eyes looking at Kuthuya’s face, "Say that correctly" she said
"What? Tytira?"
"Have you been so long away from us that you have forgotten our cultures and way of life...are you even a dragonborn Kuthuya" she said and continued to walk, "The vanquisher, is the title we call our leader as dragonborns" she said looking at Sigrid.
’Why does it look like she’s not talking to ’ Sigrid said in her head.
"Ah, I forgot..." Kuthuya said with a subtle smile.
’Oh my God, look at the Chief Knight acting all cheeky with this lady...I suppose his girlfriend’ She said in her head.
"To prevent one person being in power for too long the adjudicators were established, an association for very selected few, of course they have to be both strong enough to beat a mber of the Platinum Cadre and be smart too, so every ten years a new vanquisher cos up"

"drash ca up with the idea, I know you don’t like him but he has been the reason we’ve grown so much" she said greeting the passing dragonborns. Many were surprised and could not take their eyes off the black haired girl.
Vishva stopped, pulled her robe and covered Sigrid with it, "I don’t think you’ll be able to handle the attention." She said.
"Thanks...I was getting bothered" Sigrid said with a smile.
They walked further and reached the castle gate.
"I’ve inford drash about you and what you said, a eting has been sent to the Platinum Cadre, that is why we would be eting in the castle."
She looked at Sigrid, "All dragonborns if within the sa plane, or universe can send a brainwave transmission that gives information in our native language"
"Oh" Sigrid said, ’How did she know I was wandering about that’
The gate of the castle opened and they entered.
As they entered a huge figure, russet colored scaled-skin and almost as tall as Kuthuya himself hugged Kuthuya tightly. Kuthuy hugged him back in return.
"To think we would see again, I could rember telling you that Bahamut had no heir and you were going to rot in the North sea, looks like I was wrong" he said as he relased the hug and looked at Sigrid.
"She’s his subordinate" Kuthuya said.
"Right Vishva told , co in, the Platinum Cadre has gathered"
"So fast?" Sigrid murmured to herself and belatedly looked at Vishva who smiled in return as they went inside the castle. They entered the eting hall where the Platinum Cadre gathered, but Sigrid was stopped.
"I’m sorry Duchess, you can’t be allowed in" Kuthuya said and bowed.
"Why not, she looks like an important surbodinate of Lord Bahamut’s heir, drash since we will be discussing only matters surrounding this subject why don’t we let her in?"
"If you say so" drash responded and entered. The knights opened their lances and let her through.
drash and Vishva went to their respective seat on the round grey coloured table.
Vishva looked back at Kuthuya,
"I’m sorry, since you gave up on being a Platinum Cadre to be a demigod...but there’s a seat for you young lady" she said and a chair rose from the ground.
Sigrid gently sat on it, avoiding to look at Kuthuya.
’They must have a lot of issues’ She said in her head.
"We will begin" drash spoke.
"Okay, nice to et you Kuthuya, we are glad that you are finally back but did you just say Lord Bahamut has an heir?" Balasar, an ocher colored scale dragonborn, with red eyes and drash’s brother.
"It’s a lot to take in but then you said you are looking for him...?" Patrin, a scarlet scaled dragonborn, bigger in size than even Kuthuya said.
"I an, how long has it even been since you found the hair, weren’t we the first person that were suppose to know about it, but you are talking as though you both have been playing and now he’s in trouble and you need our help" Eshuna, grey scaled dragonborn that had a slim body said.
"I don’t need your help, I need Nala’s help" Kuthuya said raising his voice.
"Oh sure, you need Nala’s help but do you think Nala will go ahead and help you if we the Palatium Cadre do not agree to it" Eshuna said rising up from his chair and slowly moving round the table towards Kuthuya who was behind Vishva.
"Stop Eshuna, I know you the next thing that will start between you two is a fight" Vishva said.
"Go back to your seat Eshuna" drash said.
He went back to his seat, glaring at Kuthuya who was trying to calm himself.
"Kuthuya how long have you been with Lord Bahamut’s heir" drash said.
"About three weeks" he said.
"Really? Three?" Eshuna yelled.
"What have you been doing for three weeks, didn’t we deserve to know that he has ascended Bahamut’s throne." Raian a black scaled-skin female dragonborn said.
"That’s true Kuthuya, even if I want to help, seeing as how you kept this from us... I don’t think you need to be helped" Nala said, she had a brown scales speckled with gold. Unlike most female dragonborn, Nala had a lithe body.
"He had to save his subordinates... and his empire" Kuthuya reluctantly said.
Nala giggled hard till her head fell on the table, "So you, expect
to help you find a deity that chose his subordinate and empire over us; his responsibility. You really had guts coming here for this Kuthuya" she said.
Sigrid gulped
"You were suppose to guard the new lord of the north sea, you know how important it was for him to et us yet you not only chose to let him but also followed him to save his subordinate and play empire." drash said.
"I’m sorry, but that does not change the fact that I need your help" Kuthuya said
"For what exactly, why do you need to find a deity..." Patrin said.
"He’s presence is urgently needed in the empire, he’s failure to be there will tarnish he’s public image"
*pfffttt*
Eshuna let out a loud scoff and laughter afterwards.
"What is this Kuthuya, you’ve completely changed from what I used to know... you are playing with humans now? In just how many days of eting the new lord you are already running errands." Eshuna said and still couldn’t stop his laughter. The rest of them giggled too.

Sigrid stood sharply making the chair fall on the ground, all their attention was focused on him.
"What do you lowly human think you are doing?!" Eshuna yelled.
"To you all, it might be just playing with humans, you all might not understand from your perspective, because honestly from my perspective I don’t understand too. But one thing I know is, Rein has a family, and responsibilities apart from you, he leads millions of people, his decision affects millions of people, and his absence in this ceremony can cause a ripple effect that would cause all the hardwork and effort he put into building this, co crumbling to bits...and when he probably finds out that you could have helped but refused to because of your envy towards Kuthuya...I think he might hate you forever. You are not doing this for Kuthuya, but for Reinard."
"Who the fuck is Reinard" Eshuna said.

He fell off his seat as Vishva’s boots slapped his face.
"What was that for?!!" He said rising back to his seat.
"That is for not having a clue that Reinard is the na of your new patron deity." She said and looked back at Sigrid who was shivering with embarrassnt, she smiled, her face turned to Kuthuya and switched to a frown.
drash sighed, "We’ll help you find him and we’ll go together to et him" he said.
"Tchht, I’m only letting you off because of what Vishva said. But next ti you dare raise your voice against
a dragonborn, you are dead before you even know it" he said and walked out.
Nala looked at Sigrid and smiled, she looked at Kuthuya, "you should thank her, et
at the bastion." She said and walked out.
Vishva stood up and looked at him, while the others also went outside but all stared at Sigrid.
"Hm...this is awkward" she said and turned to Sigrid.
"I like you...what’s you na young lady" she asked smiling.
"Sigrid"
"Sigrid...that’s a nice na" she said as she walked out with Sigrid.
