Chapter 289: Kain vs Kuthuya
"Looks like you are quite the persistent one" the white figure said.
"Where are the other amphalat?" Rein asked
"I can’t tell you, it can’t work like that, you should ask
things about your identity...aren’t you curious?"
"I know you are just trying to while away the little ti I have, who is the dinsional thief that found and distributed the three amphalat, my guess is one amphalat was used to eradicate the Estelers and another was used to eradicate the deities, and the last one is with ...though the gods don’t know"
Ao giggled, "You’ve got it all wrong, the estelers left on their accord..."
"What do you an?" Rein asked.
"You need to rember a lot, the estelers were the only ones that could at least keep the primordials in check, since the deities were unwilling to help."
"So are you telling
that the estelers were not sent away by the gods?" Rein said slowly, while re-organising his thoughts.
"Where did you get that idea from, gods were created with the aspects of estelers, no matter how stubborn a child may be, he would never dare kill his own father..." The white figure began to disappear. "Looks like we’ll be seeing soon...till you see
in all nine orbs" he waved as he disappeared.
Rein jacked back to reality, the sa thing happened to him, a collection of weird pictures of himself in forms he never rembered taking, so of it even as a kid.He staggered backwards a few step but stood well.
"I will not ask what you saw, but I believe sothing huge lies ahead of us" The Naga king said as he watched the orb turn to dust.
Rein looked around,
’I probably can’t take all these rare treasures, such a sha...’ Rein said in his head and left the room, he glanced at Miriel who watched from outside the room, she quickly left.
’Is she hiding sothing.’ Rein said in his head, ’Well I don’t care, it seems things are getting complicated than I thought’ he walked out and imdiately prepared to.go to the next bio.

anwhile, its been seven days since Rein had left the Empire and as the Ranking event drew nearer, activities of player in the Moon empire grew massively, monster hunting, carcasses exchange. Along with rumours that Arch dukes of the kingdom have obtained Ariel’s blessing.
Another thing that was happening was the selection of Ariel’s apostles. Reinard’s plan was to create a religion with Ariel as their hope and god, alongside a doctrine needed to preached, and apostles that would carry this ssage needed to be appointed amidst the players.
"The first rule is that you all have to be very strong, I an very strong" Kain said while working back and forth the front of the applicant. How Kain ca to be in what he called to be annoying and uncomfortable dates back to two days after Rein left the Empire.
Kain entered the Palatium for the very first ti since the grand ceremony as he was expected to report to the Palace to be tested. He was greeted by a paladin.
’How intimidating’ he said in his head as the Paladin approached him bowed and offered to show him the way. He agreed and was taken to the Palatium training ground where he t Arnette and Jon sparring.
Jon wasn’t exactly a close combatant and he didn’t really care as it wasn’t a weakness to him. But if he wanted to grow and fight against gods he needed to eradicate whatsoever had the littlest potential of becoming a weakness.

Jon was holding his own against Arnette, but Arnette was too much for him too handle even though Arnette was fighting him with only one hand. Jon was barely blocking.
"His foot work is shabby" Kain said.
"You have sharp eyes to be able to notice that" Kuthuya said.
Kain was shocked to his bones, it was beyond shock, he was so scared he could pee his pant imdiately he saw Kuthuya.
"It’s fine...I’m Kuthuya, the chief of knight" he said stretching his hands to shake Kain’s, but Kain bowed.
"It’s an honor to et the Chief of Knight." He said.
"If you don’t mind, would you like to spar" Kuthuya said.

Even though Kain wanted to decline badly, a part of him tingled with excitent.
’It’s been so long since I went full power, I’m sure with him I’ll be able to go full power with no issues, I might be able to see how strong I’ve grown all this ti.’ Kain finally gave in to the temptation.
"It will be an honor sir!" He shouted.
Rumours travelled so fast in the Palatium, it didn’t mater how huge it was. Imdiately Arnette and Jon were done with their sparring they walked to the sidelines and drank water that was served by the maid.
"You are that guy" Arnette said, "...the Emperor’s old friend"
"It’s an honor" Kain replied.
"I like you, I like your manners" Jon said after gulping down a glass of water and catching his breathe afterwards. Kain smiled and bowed slightly to acknowledge.
"I’d like to have a spar with this young man" Kuthuya said.
Imdiately the empty glass cup Jon was holding fell and broke.
"Hey, Lord Kuthuya do you plan to kill him, I’ve never seen you in action but I know by your intimidating presence, you can stand your own ground on the Emperor himself." Jon said.
"I appreciate the praise Your highness" Kuthuya said, "But comparing
to the grace of the empire is too much expectations placed on ." Kuthuya said.
Arnette sighed and looked at Kain. "Did you agree?"
"I’d like to asure my capabilities."
Arnette scoffed, "Looks like we’ve got a cocky one"
Kain frowned his face for a brief mont as he felt so insulted by Arnette’s comnt, or maybe it was because of his nasty personality, but he quickly got a hold of himself.
"Well, since you agreed, everything that happens is at your risk, I just don’t wanna get scolded by the Emperor." He said.
’Rein must be like a god to these people...I’ve never seen soone magnify his mate so much’
Kuthuya pulled his armours, revealing his thick dragon scaled skin and his broad chest and thick abs, he grabbed on a long sword in the weapon stand.
"What’s your preference young man?" Kuthuya asked.
"Its fine, I have so sort of skill weapon I use." Kain responded also pulling his shirt, his body was not so bad either but it couldn’t be compared to Kuthuya’s broadness.

Ariel was seated in a small garden where it was possible for her to see almost all that is going on around her. She was lost in ditations trying to harness deep the powers of the amphalat but the continues sound of movent couldn’t allow her focus. She opened her eyes in frustration and called one of the maidservant running towards the training arena.
"What the hell is going on?" She asked.
"The Chief Knight and so random man is about to fight in the training grounds." The maidservant said.
"Huh? Does Kuthuya plan to kill soone?! Or was he angered, he knows better than to accept a provoke challenge"
"Actually ma’am..."
Ariel looked at the Maidservant who was going to say sothing. She continued, "...I heard it was the Chief Knight that challenged the young man"
"Eh?" Ariel was beyond shocked.
"You can go" she said, the maidservant hurriedly ran ahead.
"Kuthuya challenge soone, what the hell is he thinking" she said and carried her large skirt as she has been forced to dress in gowns even though she would preferably wear revealing, short clothes. She ran along while lifting up the ends of the gown with both her hands so she could run fast.
In barely minutes, the whole arena was already filled with spectators.
Yhuzia approached Arnette and Jon.
"What were you guys watching allow sothing like this to happen?" Yhuzia said.
"Hm hm, don’t look at us that way, the guy definitely accepted the challenge himself"
Yhuzia adjusted his monocle glasses.
"For so stupid reasons, I feel excited ..."
"Not just you Lord Yhuzia, look around, all the players that are Knights even the Paladins and knights that were trained personally by him are gathered around, no one has ever really seen the Chief Knight fight and we all have one common interest, we want to see him fight so badly, many might have always wanted to challenge but are too scared to do so... but what I’m more interested in is...what did he see in this guy..." Arnette said tightening his gaze on Kain.
"Well we are about to find out" Jon said.
"I will give you the grace to–"
"No! Let’s fight normally" Kain said.
Kuthuya smiled, "I shall honor you then" he said.
Kuthuya swung the sword I’m his hands forward and stopped midway, pointing straight at Kain.
Kain quickly flew several steps backwards.
Kuthuya softly smiled, ’...as I guessed those eyes..."
The ground Kain was initially standing bursted twice, the tiles in the floor scattered into the air while Kuthuya had not even moved from where he was standing.
