Chapter 254: A visit to the academy
Building altars for Ariel was a simple tax, all she had to do was commission a party Quest, that is a quest that can be fulfilled only by being in a party, and the reward was definitely catchy, such as hints to getting at least a unique rated class. Which many players didn’t want to miss out on. The amount of players that built the altar grew and so did the amount of players that also went to the altar to receive the blessing of Ariel and abandon the system god. Voil was full of rage as they saw that the numbers of Avatar were trendously reducing. But all they could do was wait for the angels, though they had all start to move their exarchs as a counterasure for if the angels decide to betray them, but they all still had their doubts if an exarch can do much damage to whom they suspect to be a deity.
While Rein was also a participant of the quest, he was given a one man quest to build hundred altars and get the mory of the world to answer any of his question, which he commissioned to the hands of Theo and the dwarves. Locations were also important, in order to avoid trouble Rein sought remote areas, gave them enough money for the land and even the villagers helped in building the altars which was because Rein knew that in the future as players continue to gather around altars, it will begin to affect those remote areas and they will gradually begin to develop faster than before and he intends to lay claim on those area using the influence of Ariel.
Apart from that Rein’s second aim was to find the North sea, Bahamut’s domain which was not his only domain as he had found out in Bahamut’s mind library, it wasn’t even Bahamut’s main domain, because Bahamut was a dragon, so his domain was naturally draconic, and there was nothing draconic about the North sea, at least from all that he has found out, it seems to be just a place of authority, plus even Bahamut never spoke highly of it, which ant Bahamut didn’t really consider it a thing. Which is also why he couldn’t help but wonder why he feels like the class is so important to him. He also had to et other dragons which was his goal for coming back to the Central artic, specifically to the academy.
He was greeted by the bald head instructor, Rein looked around as he was escorted to the principal’s office, he couldn’t help but reminisce the old tis.
"He is beyond this door" the head instructor said, with a slight bow.
Rein entered but Ariel, Azes and Theo were not allowed to enter.
"You have definitely, grown stronger...now I regret not killing you back then"
"Because you can’t anymore?" Rein asked.
"Why have you co here?" The principal asked as he turned away from the window and faced Rein.
"I want to et the fire dragon" Rein said.
"I’d be a fool to let that happened, the episodes of dragons was sothing that closed millenniums ago, if I was to let you et the fire dragon coupled with the recent appearance of two dragons, that’d be worsening the situation. Because I know you intend to kill that dragon...which is quite arrogant of you"
"Oh, I think you place quite the expectations on , though they might be too much, how will I kill a dragon?...I’m not that strong..."
"Am I supposed to believe that when you have two dragons stationed outside my door?"
Rein was surprised, ’He knew’
"Wow, you must be even sharper than I imagined"
"Is it okay though, coming here when your subordinates are in war with the greatest empire in the west...?"
"They’ll be fine...these are important matters...plus, I also ca to ask for your investigation regarding Belet and what are you doing to keep that place off limits?"
"Your demonic mount escaped on its own, thats the only conclusion we could reach and as for your second question, it is up to the union leaders to answer that not ...if you’d please...leave"
"I can’t, not until I’ve t the fire dragon"
"Do you seriously plan to make
fight you?" He said and released his sharp killing intent at Rein.
Theo imdiately disappeared, so did Azes but Theo was faster and appeared behind the principal, before the principal could lift his eyes, all different kinds of silver spear filled the atmosphere, they were all pointing to him. The guards and instructors jamd in but they wouldn’t dare take a step seeing what was before their eyes.
"How dare you lowly elf, release hostility towards my lord" Theo gnarled subtly releasing dragon fear which made everyone tremble.
~Rumble~
There was a subtle shockwave afterwards.
Rein smiled,
"I just figured, if you won’t let
go to the mountain, then perhaps I should make the mountain co to , I know his nasty attitude, plus this is sort of his territory, he will definitely respond..."
The principal flinched, "No! Don’t –"
"Do it Theo" Rein said and imdiately Theo fully Unleashed his dragon fear in the atmosphere, the instructors began to bleed internally, so even passed out.
The rumbling worsened and the shockwave got stronger, it was a good thing that the academy had no students currently but there were still inhabitants of the academy, such as the Monastery, the kitchen, the blacksmiths, the rest of the disciplinary committee and even instructors lived inside the academy. Having just fully recovered from the damages of the appearance of the ulamog which they are yet to fully investigate the cause, appearance of a dragon would really destroy the academy which Reinard didn’t care about.
The ground began to crumble as the slumbering dragon rose to the surface of the earth.
Theo looked through the window from where he stood,
"I’ve not t him before‐"
"So have I not t you before..." The fire dragon Zaldres replied, standing right next to Theo, who had already left the principal alone.
Rein was beyond surprised, ’his polymorph speed is crazy... plus he was outside there just a mont ago’
He looked at Azes, looked at Ariel, then looked at Rein.
"You...I definitely know you, your appearance have changed, and so has your sll beco more elegant, but I can still feel it... I know you" he said to Rein.
"I have so questions for you Zaldres" Reinard said.
Zaldres looked at Rein who in turn looked back.
"To speak like that despite knowing I’m a dragon, you must also be a big shot..." he said.
"Do you have the mories of the forr red dragon?"
Zaldres flinched, he stretched his hand to reach Rein at a crazy speed.

His hand up to his forearm disappeared instantly, and he was unable to heal himself.
"What did you do to ?" He groaned.
"I just took out so thing that would let you have a hand, so you can’t regenerate a hand that was never there in the first place" Rein said.

"Do you have the mories of Tianthus?" Rein asked again.
"I see, it was you that relieved him...are you the new king chosen to lead us? But you should know, we sons of Tiamat can never accept you...which is why I can’t help but wonder why you have a black dragon on your side, black and gold dragons are said to be the most powerful and the rarest, a gold dragon has only been born once and I assu you are the second birthing of a black dragon...why have you fallen so low...?" He said turning his face to Azes who gulped and did not respond.
Reinard sighed, ’it seems there’s more I still have to find out about this Tiamat...’
"I have not co here to ask for your approval, there’s only one thing I need to know? Do you have his mories?" Rein asked.
"Yes, I did" Zaldres responded.
"You did?"
"They were torntful, they made
go crazy and kill wyverns, so I got rid of them"

Rein got angry as Zaldres spoke.

"I’d be a fool to walk into my own grave" Zaldres replied.
"Then you got rid of his mories, the only responsibility he entrusted you with!!"
Zaldres stared at Reinard with lazy eyes that showed that he didn’t care.
"I knew from the first day I saw you, you act all Hugh and mighty against humans, but in reality you are just a coward" Rein said.
"What do you know?!" Zaldres yelled at him gritting his teeth.
"A dragon needs to die, so it essence would fully rebirth another dragon of the sa kind, but I was born a premature, you know why?!! Because he wouldn’t die, I was born less powerful and ford compared to other dragons out there and I had to hide in caves all my life to hide my weakness, that happened because that bastard wouldn’t d–"
~slap~
He looked down at the hand that slapped his face.
"You really have no respect, he truly is disappointed in you but also sorry" Ariel said.
"He would surely have died if he was able to, but the choice to even die was taken away from him, that was how cruel this world was to him. And you his successor, self centered, cared about none of this...it is really a sha that you are a dragon!!" Ariel nagged at him.
’What the hell? Why does it feel like I’m being corrected by and grandma when she’s just a little girl’ Zaldres thought.
"In order to pay for you foolish sins, you would accompany us, till we find and destroy all traces of Eurekyl" she said.
He couldn’t say anything, he just gritted his teeth and said.
"I’ve heard so give
back my hand"
Rein pointed his hand forward and his hand reappeared.
Zaldres couldn’t help but wonder how Rein did that.
