Chapter 210: A lesser Deity
---wake up self, wake up, everyone in this world is your enemy because you are an existence that should not exist. You are a phenona that defies logic. You are sothing even the universe cannot comprehend--- For so reason Rein was reminded of the words of his deiti-self.
"What are you waiting for?!" The Griffin King shouted from afar as he knocked the harpy queen’s back against the wall and hooking her there.
"I can’t Rein" murmured to himself.
"Father?"
Rein looked at Azes, "I don’t think I can do it" Rein’s hand began to shake.
Like every other person there was so many things Azes could not comprehend about Reinard, starting from the event of Rein naming him, it never made any logical sense to Azes, but he loved being with Rein, at first watching Rein suffer because of the race change he felt guilt but as he saw Rein adjust to it he was happy to be by his side. "I will undoubtedly follow any decision you make Father." Azes assured Rein.
Rein carried the egg shouted, "I will take the egg with !!"
-woooooosh- The Griffin king arrived at Rein’s front. "I can’t let you"
Rein stared into his eyes, "I wasn’t asking"
Azes grinned, ’now how’s that, sowhere deep within I know Father has the qualities of a deity and is fit to be one’
One of the Griffin King’s rose high and ca at Rein who disappeared and appeared afar off, a result of using flashspeed.
"Wow, nice speed" The Griffin king was in his front the next minute but Rein went afar off before his sharpened feather swiped off his after image. He was carrying the egg with one hand so he carefully used on hand to frictionize the floor in order for his speed to reduce before hitting his back on the wall.
The Griffin king did not let him rest, he was already in front of him again this ti Rein did not just run.
-Swooooooosssh- he used stage one lordblade to throw a sword aura strike at the Griffin King who went below it and dashed at Rein, but Rein continued to throw aura strikes by swinging his hand.

But he did not do it in just one direction, thanks to the fact that the Griffin king was coming at him with the intent to kill, he could use the shadow skill; death flash which allowed him to effectively tell the direction the Griffin King would be coming from and throwing a aura strike in that direction, the Griffin king always find a breakthrough and Rein always predicted that breakthrough, it was a series of throwing and wearing event that kept the Griffin king from approaching Rein and it was also Rein’s fallback plan if he ever t anyone that surpassed him with speed.
The harpy queen dashed at the Griffin king and they both crashed into the wall together, she casted a wall of tornado wind around both of them and shouted at Rein, "go!"
"Fool! As long as that thing lives this strange relationship between monster and mythical beast will never Stop!!" He faced the harpy queen, "and you...do you really think you can fight ?! You are nothing but a monster that lived too long"
wham- he transforms into his Griffin form and grabs both of the harpy queen’s feather with both his fore-leg, she let out a wide scream and he tears it apart.
Rein wanted to help.
"She made a sacrifice, we should honor that sacrifice not be stupid" Azes said to him.
Rein ran out of the building but as soon as he got put sothing crashed on him from above.
The dust screen began to clear out and Azes transford into his dragon form and moved to Rein’s front.
’Huh...what’s wrong...I’ve never seen Azes face so serious-s’
’Hey Kid...’ Huemac’s voice rang in his head. ’Brace yourself’
’What is going-’ As the dust finally settled Rein realized why everyone was so vigilante, a yellow-haired man with golden eyeball was standing in from of him. But what shocked him more was that he couldn’t feel or sense his presence with remote sensing but upon seeing him, Rein felt like the a helpless kid in front a very tall giant.
"A black dragon? How weird... I didn’t even sense the birth of black dragon, are you the only one, ah yes you should be, gold, black, red and blue are the unique of both sides, they can never be two of those...mahn I sure have missed hanging around dragons when Master Bahamot was still around"
’Wait...did he just say...’
"Oh, are you hiding, does that an you are acquainted with the black dragon?" His face was a breathe away from Rein’s.
’How, how, how-w did he get here?’ Rein fell on the floor.
Azes imdiately morphed into human but because of his maturity influence he was only able to morph into a boy of Thurber’s age, black long hair and deep blue eyes. He discharged a wall of darkness imdiately, without being seen moving, the yellow haired man was already afar again.
"To be this emotional against humans, but black dragons are of Tiamat not Master Bahamot... thinking back, those two did give a lot of trouble, I was nothing but a re rock then" he smiled. "By the way black dragon, whatever you are trying to protect in that guy I’m really serious, perhaps he’s not human, he seems like human yet he does not seem like one."
"Who are you?" Azes asked.
"... I’m Levon, a lesser deity"
Rein’s eye widened.
"I thought all deities were gone" Azes said.
"Indeed, when the issue with the deities happened I was not a deity then, I was rely a cloud that was adored by a deity. You might not know this since you are a new born, when a deity adores a thing, be it living or non living, that thing will eventually gain life after many years, or how do you think deities are born... but I must admit it’s always very hard climbing up the rank, it’s been 900 years since I opened my eyes and I’m still a lesser deity." He sighed. "Okay, I’ve answered your question, now answer mine...who’s that boy and why are you do you seem close to him?"
’Father, how far and fast can you run in one minute...’ Azes asked Rein.
’Huh...eh...’ Rein was rather freaked out. ’Huemac was not joking when he said I am not as strong as a lesser deity even though I am a greater deity, what.... am I even a deity at all, that’s what a deity is supposed to look like dammit.’
"Answer , black dragon... I consider you worthy enough which is why I’m here talking to you, normally I would have killed you both"
The Griffin king flew out and paused, "Levon? You are here"
"Tell
Hysiris, did you try to kill the egg?"
"I add to"
"So you were willing to disobey
huh... we’ll talk about that later, I have to deal with this first." He looked at Rein and then looked back at Azes.
"Even though it was faint, that human gave off a presence similar to that of your kind"

The yellow haired man swung and smacked the Griffin king, he crashed into the ground.
"Stupid, are you trying to compare
to that bug?"
Rein looked at him, ’...bug’ he shivered.
Levon walked closer to Azes, "I’m keeping myself a secret you see. Which is why I cannot allow any of you leave here, not alive"
Azes smiled, "You going to kill a dragon...?"
"You are barely a juvenile, I can suceed"
whaaam- The next minute Azes kick rumbled his belly, he flew off and crashed outside the tower they were in, Azes grabbed Rein and flew with imnse speed.
"Good grief, I think I underestimated the dragon" he smiled and raised his hand, the cloud began to co together and form a large arrow he swung his hand down and the cloud arrow fell on Azes who got one of his wings injured badly, with one wing there was not much Azes could do.
’I’m going to have to save Father first’ Azes threw Rein in the air and projected him forward with a slap of his wings, he continued to fall as he watched Rein being thrown afar off.
’F-F-Father...’ his eyes slowly closed as he continued falling.
Levon looked from above, "nothing to be worried about. He will die, the boy will die too. Now back to you" he turned to the Griffin King. "What were you saying?"
"I would never belittle you Levon, but that guy emitted a deity-like presence like yourself, for a mont it was as if he was the highest and then it all vanished so I could not tell exactly what it was, but you have to be careful, if a deity can be born anyti or anywhere, is it not possible that one of the old deities adoration has manifested into a human form?"
Levon’s face turned serious, ’he’s right... currently now, we are three so far, with
being the oldest, Mos and Twen were born about two hundred years ago. It’s possible that the boy was a deity that has yet to realize, perhaps that was why the dragon was protecting him. Damnit, did I just let him slip out of my hand...he may be in danger... there’s no telling, the gods could find him and that may lead them to find us too’ he faced the Griffin king, "Find the boy for ... at all cost"
