Chapter 171: Chapter 169: A Talking Cat
Durandel gripped the neck of Zearur tightly as he kept struggling.
"Kill him"
"Really you want that?"
"I need to confirm sothing."
"It’s an illusion..." the vampire Ellifis summoned spoke out.
Ellifis gritted his teeth, "how exactly did he....since when"
"He left, the mont you arrived, but the shiny light around you wouldn’t let you see" Ben said. "Jidgung by how je ran with his legs in between his legs I guess he was not ready to put up with and an had sothing more important to do"
Ellifis was deep thought after he heard what Ben said, ’what were they truly after that could have Zearus leave in such hurry.’
Ben flipped his hand and dispersed his energy which began to delete the illusion walls and thing were revealed, it was the sa state of the surrounding but the butlers were not there.
"Where did they go?" Ellifis asked,
"Out of the ocean and they flew towards the mountain"
"Thank you, Durandel let’s go!"
"Roger you bossaaa" he grabbed Ellifis and jumped out. The vampire also followed them.
Ben placed Rein softly on the floor, he looked a Rein began to sweat and his temperature really rose. He carefully knelt beside Rein.

The dungeon expedition team Hagar had gathered finally defeated the dungeon boss and got rewards in return, Hagar was determined that he had to kill one Rein, the Rein here had the habit of disappearing out of sight then suddenly appearing again. The students jubilated, they were glad that they had finally beat it, Rein sat down beside the fire and stared into it.
"You seem to be in deep thoughts" Hagar said as he approached him.
Rein lifted his head up to look at him but did not reply, then he continued to look at the fire.
"How was the dungeon experience for you, if I would say, you didn’t particularly participate like I expected..."
Rein sighed, "why don’t you drop the act now?"
"What do you an?" Hagar asked.
"I know what you have been up to and also know that this is not the real you and I also know that you want to kill
badly, if you are going to live a thousand years you should at least learn to hide that ridiculous bloodlust of yours." Rein’s eyes began to glow blue as he talked to him, of course this was not Rein but Azes who had polymorphed into Rein. He stood and alot fire brids appeared behind him.
"How impatient..."
"You won’t be able to defeat ... because that is a fake" Qzes stretched forth his hand the fire brids all attack Hagar. At first Hagar easily put up a shield but then the shield began to crack, never in his life had he ever thought one, he would be had by the lowest level of magic, fire brid was a magic that everybody knew, it was like when a toddler first learn to walk, and right now that sa fire brid was being shot with so much powerforce that even his barrier was gonna be broken, he found it very had to believe, but the truth is that the Hagar here is not the real one and because of what is going on the other side it would be very risky for him to exert so much power from the source so he was going to keep things simple, but Hagar didn’t know he wasn’t facing a human, he was facing a month old dragon.
Even though Azes could polymorph, he couldn’t keep the state for a long period of ti so he jad to take a breather, the cost to maintain the form Rein has cost more than even maintaining a human’s or a cat’s, ’is it because father is a deity’ he thought as he poofed back to being a small dragon, he polymorphed to a cat imdiately. And sat on the flow waiting for Hagar to recover from his shock.
"Ahhh Azes!! There you are, I’ve been looking all over for you, you were always missing whenever Rein’s around, do you have a fight or sothing..." Braschiold rushed to Azes and picked him for the ground, as a black cat Azes struggled and owed but couldn’t get out of Braschiold grasp.
’this kid has he gotten stronger... holy aura is gushing out of him like he is an angel...’
"Guess what Azes..." Braschiold asked and continues as Azes kept trying to leave his grip, "I made contract with a high-leveled spirit, I think it’s a celestial spirit, it happened during the fight, his debut appearance was so great, everyone praised , man I really wish Rein was there, he really does seem distant during this dungeon expedition though..." Braschiold looked up as he talked and saw as the smoke cleared and Hagar arrogantly jumped out of it.
"Kid, stay put and I will take care of this!!" Azes slipped put of his hand as he was shocked by two things as the sa ti, another set of fire brids gathered around Azes as he floated in the air, this ti mixed with ice arrows.
"Are you ready again Hagar"
Hagar looked at the fire brids and ice arrows, more than being able to cast to different elents at the sa ti what surprised him was that a cat was talking and that cat seem to had also been Rein. He was taken by surprised, ’am I about to get defeated by a cat?... if the next attack would be like the forr there’s no way I would live through that, even the energy supplication quotient is getting very low, I’ve been out here for too long. ... I have to end this with my ultimate.’
Hagar crossed his arms and suddenly the black statue appeared behind him, huge and ominous.
But instead the Azes scuffed.
Hagar got mad, "what?! Did he just laugh... a cat...?"
"Ohh oh, forgive , I was wandering are you going to use that thing to defend against this thing... behind ...?"
Hagar looked again and got shocked, "when did the ....when did it get so many, even air shots, rock cones too, all four elents????"
"...oh no no, not for alone, adding my attribute to all of them..." purplish-dark aura split out of the Azes and spread throughout the whole of the attacks Azes prepared, all of them took on a similar form, dark and ominous form.
Hagar freaked out, "what... attack is this, what... its like of them her wrapped in a greater attribute..."
"Ohoh... at least you recognize that much" Azes swung his cat hand forward and all the attacks rushed down on Hagar, it kept rushing on him for awhile and Azes watched.
"...he got destroyed before the attack even finish pouring, ah I think I know where the real one is"
Braschiold couldn’t believe his eyes, ’...a cat that talks, but not that alone, it has really crazy magic....’
"Little boy, get the others. We have to leave..."
"Pardon?!" Azes voice woke him from his thoughts
"I said look for everyone, we have to leave here, Rein needs his friends...we’ll he’s particularly okay on his own, but this will an nothing if you all are not there... since his story is about to start."
"Azes is that you?" Braschiold asked with a voice that irritated Azes.
"Bozo!! It’s , get the others now!!"
"...okay" Braschiold ran out in haste as a reasonable response to the urgency in Azes’ face.
But before he could even reach far he t Sigrid.
"The ...the ...the ..the cat..!!"
Sigrid looked at him weirdly as she continued to mine the remaining minerals with the soldiers, she was already popular amidst them, they complinted her for her unparalleled strength especially her tenacity.
"Speak out Braschiold..."
"The ...uhm, Rein’s cat can talk, it can shoot really power magic."
Sigrid tilted her head that made her hair fall on her face even Braschiold blushed for a second as he saw it.
"A talking cat? Rein’s? Where is Rein...?" She asked.
"That’s true, I should have asked the cat... but he said we should all gather, he said sothing about helping Rein..."
’As I guessed he was not here afterall, he really has not changed, doing things without informing us... what exactly are we to him, just so party fill ins, probably I should consider leaving, all those shit talk about going a long way is really looking fake.’
She looked at Braschiold, who earnestly awaited her reply, "go get the others... like the cat wanted."
She walked in to the chamber where Braschiold was coming from. Azes sat down looking at the fire, in his cat form.
Sigrid observed the cat from the back and silently withdrew her long silversword. She stealthily walk behind Azes who was so consu in looking at the fire and swung her sword, Azes disappeared like the wind and before she knew it, he was sitting on the sword, totally weightless.
Sigrid was awed, "you are Rein’s cat?...let
guess, another SSS-tier mythical beast.
"I’m nothing of such. Have you ever seen a mythical beast talk?"
"Well I’ve seen many use telepathy..." she replied.
Azes smiled at her.
"What?" She asked, "...that smile is making
feel cringy"
"You truly are amazing as I suspected, to be able to be this casual and calm around
even though I am a talking cat"
"...tsk that’s not even an issue, since it is not you I have business with, the one who has an explanation to give is your owner"
