Chapter 168: Chapter 166: Vampiric Disaster

"Eh..."

The huge fireball that had was as large as the sun itself disappeared without a single trace left, that enormous heat disappeared and the environnt felt imdiately better.

"What is this... I had my expectations up for nothing" Zearus scoffed at Rein.

"...what was that... is this bastard joking right now, that could have easily taken care of the demon lord and saved us a lot of stress and ti...and yet..." Ulfur grumbled with frustration as he cut through the demon armies.

"...Ben... what do I do... I think I run out of mana"

Ben bowed his head, "My lord, aura is sothing that can constantly be regained with the right breathing technique even when they are being expended. All you just have to do is use the right breathing technique and if I may say, My lord cannot use other breathing style humans use, it might not be enough, judging from what I saw, your aura, my lord, will be a very expensive one"

Rein sighed, "I know right..."

The demon lord scread, and seed to had entered rage state without even being touched yet, it was as though the sudden appearance of the huge energy ball above its head threw it off bat and made him almost pee his pants, now he was very angry because he thinks soone is trying to as with him.

He swung the large shark-shaped greatsword in circles and cut down everything that stood in his way, including his armies.

***********

At this point the ominous and sinister aura of the demon lord had alerted everyone around, the first leader’s soldiers had seen the hole in the middle of the ocean and even fishes were ending up dead by the edge of the ocean, which was due to presence of the demonic aura. But as at that the soldiers could do nothing, the commander was loyal to the bones, he was going to stand on standby and attacked anyone who ca around even if the demon ca out and begin to kill everyone. This was what loyalty ant to the likes of Commander Colheim who was trained and brought up by the Central Artic military.

But deep within he questioned himself, he tightened his fist and turned away from the ocean, just as he turned away he saw a single man begin to approach from afar.

He imdiately scread, "all archers get ready to confront!!"

In the blink of an eye all the soldiers were already in position and were marching out of the camp and facing towards where a man that seed to be in dark clothing was coming from.

"Bows ready!" He shouted.

And imdiately the soldiers all pointed their bow and arrows out in the air.

"Set!!"

They pulled the string of the arrow.

"..." the commander paused for so seconds then. "fire!" He shouted.

The soldiers poured their arrows into the air and it fell on the stranger that was coming from afar off.

Commander Colheim calmly tried to observe if it was the end of the person but he could not get a good glimpse from that far, he was about to go front when he turned back upon hearing a sucking sound.

*??????????* *??????????*

*??????????*

He saw a black-haired, red-eyed vampire sucking the blood of one of his n, he looked around and found the others laying on the floor, the one the vampire was sucking kept stretching his hand and gasping for breathe as the red eyed vampire sucked harder, the hand finally fell and the vampire stood up and smiled widely, "bonsoir monsieur" Count Mori cleaned his mouth with a white handkerchief.

"I hung around the newly arrived humans, who were quite strong, I hung around them a few tis and they said it ant good evening, they call it a language ... I especially like the way it sounds..." he tilted his head and gave Commamder Colheim a perverted smile, "...don’t you, monsieur?..."

Colheim shivered with rage, his veins popped out as he tightened his fist and gritted his teeth. "You monster! How dare..!!!" With crazy speed he unleashed the double axe on the back of his Armour, he swung it simultaneously pushing forward but for a vampire count like Mori, it was not hard to weave, he dodged and dodged with his hands behind his back, as Commander Colheim swung his age open in order to close them on Count Mori, entrapping him and giving him a fatal blow but he belatedly realize,

’Crap...I’m slow...’

??????????!!

Count Mori slapped his chest before he could even begin to bring his axe down, he flew away at a very fast rate and crashed into the rock.

Aradhel and the other elven chieftains, alongside Jon and Dugnis who just arrived watched from above.

"He really is strong... to be able to deal with a commander like that?" Elder Takwook complinted as he watched, he faced Dugnis, "how did you get a strong vampires like him to form a contract with "

"...I didn’t exactly get him to form a contract with , Mori has been my guardian since I was born, my parent died early so I know nothing about them. Mori has been the only one." Dugnis answered with a calm and resentful expression.

"Hmmm..." Elder Takwook surely felt bad for asking that question.

The queen wore a bright smile on her face, "this would be coming to an end faster than we thought..."

Elder Takwook scoffed, "...do.you really think so"

"...what do you an Elder?" Queen Aradhel asked.

"You see this is why I really don’t like you new generations, you have no alertness, we have been surrounded for close to an hour and you couldn’t even tell?..."

"What?Elder why didn’t you say?" The queen asked with a soft and whimsy voice.

"Well because I thought you knew" Elder Takwook scoffed and walked away.

Mori kept playing with Commander Colheim, and he couldn’t keep up, he began to breathe heavily but suddenly he wore a smile.on hi face.

Count Mori found the smile very displeasing that he appeared in his front and slapped him, Commander Colheim.was thrown away even by the slap but not as much force, he sorsaulted as he was thrown and landed on his feet.

"Do you really think, I will just co here with a hundred archers?"

"...." Count Mori was silent and still kept looking at him.

"You were so confident I’m yourself you didn’t even bother to ask.." commander Colheim spread his arms into the air and from the top of the mountains alot of heads began to pop up, with a weapon that Mori recognized and hated, guns.

Mori looked around and had an angry expression and his face ca back to Commander Colheim. "You tricked ..."

"...what the hell do you an... how else was I suppose to win?"

"You could have easily confronted

with all your soldiers"

"I’m sorry vampire, but I couldn’t take my chances, since I was surrounded by so many elven soldiers, I had to be smarter but lucky enough even the elven soldiers were so wrapped in what was going on in the middle of the ocean that they didn’t notice. What do you expect, I commander close to a thousand soldiers and I am a commander that was trained by the Central Artic Military."

"Humans...they just can’t help talking" Mori snapped his fingers and many shadows flew out from him. The heads that were above the mountains began to suddenly go down, they were being slaughtered by the black-clothed beings that ca out of Mori. Commander Colheim watched in despair, ’what monster... what monster is this?’ His eyes widened, Mori grinned and walled closer to Commander Colheim, he staggered and walked back, he fell to his butt in fear and shouted as Mori raised his hands up to slash him.

"Aish, aish, aish, stop!" Mori patted his head. "Normally I would have killed you or made you a vampire but you see soone said to keep you alive."

The black-clothed beings returned into his cloak. He picked Commander Colheim by his clothe collar and disappeared.

"We have finished them all, your majesty" The elven commander reported to her.

"Good, let’s get ready to move" Aradhel commanded.

The Commander nad, Reithel asked, "I’m sorry your majesty. You an move to where?"

"The middle of the ocean"

"What? Why?"

"Because we would be joining them, if what Ellie said is correct then that ans that all the union leaders are fighting alone in that place."

"...but your majesty we must consider our people first, I know Ellifis is important but he left us, twice already and normally he shouldn’t have a ho to return to, not only did you accept a traitor back but you are also risking the lives of our people for his sake and yet the elder and chieftains are saying nothing about it...with all due respect your majesty" he bowed his head.

"...first of all it is not for his sake, it is for the sake of the world..."

"Stop" Elder Takwook interrupted her. She turned and watched him as he got closer to them.

"What?...with all due respect, you dare mock your queen? Do you think you would have done better on the throne? Or you think she is being swayed by emotions and you are better, are you truly any better, pompous of yourself because you were made the commander not even based on your own achievent now but because of the achievent of your ancestors and the legend your lineage carries, yet you dare question the queen’s authority and have an opinion against her orders?"

"No, elder... I’m deeply in regret, I never should have"

"If you are going to do sothing then you should have done it and had no regret about it, the fact that you feel regret makes you worse, a traitor and a coward, atleast Ellifis was a powerful traitor whom not even the elders of the court could control or defeat, he was bold in all his proclamations, he recognized authority and respected it, but you are a coward, a stupid commander... put off the armour and atone for your sins today, for now you are not worthy to lead the army, you have been temporarily disposed from your position, when you prove to be worthy then you can be reinstated"

The queen looked at elder Takwook as he perfectly countered and punished Reithiel.
