Chapter 124: Chapter 123: Excavation part 1

"Fist of steel!!"

????????????!

Nozick fell back as blood burst out of his chest where the monk guy had used his bare hand to cut. It hit Nozick weirdly as he never anticipated a piercing attack with bare hands.

"I guess I underestimated you from the get-go"

Nozick’s body crystallized.

"I won’t make the sa mistake twice"

Nozick never had a special or legendary skill, he could simply fight and fight strong, he had a strong sense, and had awakened aura materialization up to stage three, and was a master at using his beastial form since he had gained it since he was 10.

The monk smirked at Nozick’s new appearance, Nozick felt mocked and jumped in, he Bagan to throw in blows but every blow he threw was like a Gatling gun. But the monk’s speed was crazy as much as no ordinary eyes could follow the rate at which he blocked every single blow. At so point, Nozick’s crystallized fist began to fall off but imdiately regenerated.

Nozick thought Grunder’s defence was the absolute defence there is, he had always been confident and though you could ravage anyhow so far he had the absolute defence but what ca before his face now was unbelievable and unacceptable for him. To think that there was a skill that could break his absolute defence. He jumped farther away from the monk and smoothly released his aura. It ant Nozick had analyzed his opponent and was beginning to see the power gap, so instead of the aggressive announcent of aura when unleashing aura attack it was best to give your aura a gentle nature so the opponent wouldn’t find it easy to predict the next line of attack.

"Aura Materialisation stage 1: Golem!"

Nozick’s aura grew larger and then compressed on his body forming a golem-like body all over revealing only his eyes.

"Here I co!!"

??????????

??????????

"Iron Body"

??????????!

A large smoke dispersed the mont both of them collided. As the smoke cleared Nozick was surprised to see the monk stand upright without even a slight scratch.

The monk cracked his knuckles,

"From the looks of it, you look like you are an all-in defensive type, using such defence as a powerful attack too is brilliant but you are not a match for .

"Way of the Sacred Fist: Channel divinity!"

Enormous light shined from beneath Nozick looked around as the flow began to seem like its going slant, the monk stood on his spot.

"... Domain reveal! Honor domain: Benevolent dignity!"

The monk threw his fist into the air, imdiately Nozick body fell on the floor.

Everything before him moved in slow motion.

"... I can’t feel myself -"

His eyes closed as he fainted completely.

*******

Reim’s party got ready for their first-ever excavation, their first-ever working together since they beca a party all of them were very happy has the put on their newly arrived set of uniforms, that would make it three sets of uniform that they had, this ti it was an all-black with a red threading and silver-blue buttons. The design was the greatest of all their uniform, looks like Chief Letra put in a lot more work in this one, Rein’s was splendid as usual, with a blue coat that he hung over his shoulder.

He adjusted his black gloves to hide his whitening skin but he couldn’t hide his face.

"Are you sick Rein?"

Zolin was the first to ask

"No... Yea just a bit"

He thought there was no point denying it since he already looked like this but he also had no plans to tell them he was graduating from being a human to being sothing even he does not know about.

Estrid kept staring at the black cat on the floor and was getting a huge urge to touch but she kept restricting herself.

"You have a pet now? Jon asked"

"More like a child... Haha"

Rein let out a shy of shyness.

Everybody was probably sorry for not knowing what Rein was going through, they found his hardships too grand and in their mind, he was becoming an existence they couldn’t comprehend, even Sigrid was completely silent because of her actions.

Braschiold was the only odd one. He jumped forward and carried the cat high up.

"hooray! My master’s pet. Master, I had no idea you love cats"

’Asshole that’s a draaaagooonn... I seriously wish I can say that but Azes wanted to keep it a secret at least till he has finished with reading the mories of the world and entered the juvenile stage’

Rein broke a sweat as he forced the smile onto his face.

"Yea yea"

To his surprise, Azes seem to be enjoying the lifting. Braschiold held him together in his arm and he already seems to be sleeping again.

’Whether it’s a dragon or not, a kid will still be a kid’

"Well, shall we go?"

"Uhm everyone, I have sothing to say"

Rein looked at Quetz, it was not hard to tell that what she wanted to say was bad.

"You can just say it after we are done with the excavation, let’s focus on one thing at a ti."

They proceed to the entrance of the dungeon, the dungeon Committee opened the shield for them and they continued in with their excavations tools in a bag carried by Grim’s walking machines, he had two, about 6ft tall and the third one he was controlling from inside slightly taller than the order two but well designed and looked like an astral ranger.

All of them looked excited as they entered, it was a dark, rocky dungeon and they could barely see, but that wasn’t an issue, as Grim put on his magical powered electric led light from his two other machines.

Rein looked at the led light. ’perhaps they might even end up surpassing earth when it cos to technology’

They continued further inside. They were gonna start excavating starting from where they saw the smallest minerals available but all that they could see right now was rocks.

Jon walked up to Rein,

"Why excavation though, I figured if you would normally have wanted to go to a dungeon it would have been a normal dungeon challenge"

"Well, we would still do that but right now I just felt we needed this. There’s a lot that minerals can do in the central artic, and for us, if we would be targeting to beco a prominent guild the first steps should be creating a solid foundation for inco generation, let’s just say I’m trying to test which production-based trade would be best for us as a guild in the whole world."

Rein’s explanation marvelled Jon, of course, it was correct but it was not Rein’s priority right now, after looking for the best possible place to get the crystals he could only get one answer in the library and even the answer wasn’t 100% assurance but he had to check, it was a risk.

The crystals are generally called, Ignum, but due to their varieties they were specifically called: red crystals, purple crystals and black crystals and are normal crystals that have sucked in an enormous, energy of divine existence, they are very common in the world of the gods even though they are of no particular use to them, they had no use to humans too, but beings like the dwarfs, elves, gnos and tieflings found a very great use for it and would often seek it, due to this another fact was able to be gathered that these crystals also grow around dragon lairs but who would dare go to a dragon lair to excavate minerals except Renard of course.

His eyes did not falter one bit as he thought about it, was it foolishness, overconfidence or bravery.

Finally, they began to reach places where minor minerals like iron Ore and tin ore could be found.

"I don’t think mining iron ores is a good idea, there are plenty of them outside here" lorrim spoke.

"We move forward" Rein marched onward.

He gave off a different vibe from the usual very cold compared to the forr him, they all found it unpleasant and uncomfortable but could not complain since he lashed out about almost dying at the hands of a god.

"Is it I or master seems a bit not himself since the day with the union guy" Braschiold murmured to himself as he patted the sleeping Azes.

Azes lifted his head and looked at Rein’s back, then he continued his sleep.

’His in pain again...’

Azes hated the fact that he could not do anything about Rein’s status he was already beginning to regret accepting the na, originally Rein should have never had the ability to na him, it could have reduced every normal human to ashes but after being abandoned by the system, being an outworlder he beca an anomaly that the rules didn’t apply to, hence his changing of race was Gaia forcibly fixing him into the hierarchy and since he had already successfully nad a dragon, he couldn’t be placed below dragons as that would cause a ss that would disrupt the flow Gaia has ordained, Reinard’s predicant was strange and had never occurred in truth Gaia would be wishing he dies because even she has no idea what a being above a dragon would be. She had the power to modify concepts but she didn’t have the power to choose what it gets to be and not be, she creates a flow but does not create what flows.

So he was sothing burdenso for Gaia, for the gods.
