Chapter 118: Faerdham
Kain bowed,
"Thank you very much for your lending us your ho"
"The pleasure is all mine young lad, thanks to you being here I was able to have a splendid ti, it’s always been boring here"
Keijisama bowed to but didn’t say a word, he has been like that since the fight with Drax, he said less and spent more ti training. Kain at first found it depressing but he soon adjusted to it perhaps Keijisama was preparing for a revenge, he had no right to stop that because that is his goal too, so he thought but even though he failed to express it he still wished Keijisama would revert back to his old self atleast for the young Max who they were now very close.
Max was a talkative but he had a warm heart, which drew Kain in. Kain saw him as a younger brother and loved him.
They began their Journey of no destination, Kain’s plan was to enter a kingdom and settle down as adventurers and earm so money and livelihood till they are ready to et with the other guild mbers.
They began to walk day and night, they kept walking during the day and rested at night, with nothing like Map they were bound to walk aimlessly and get lost it went on like this for them for a week but soon they reached a large forest.
On entering the forest,

The three of them got the sa notification at once. Kain and Keijisama sobered up while Max held madarias tightly, ready to unleash it if anyone should approach them.
Then they heard a voice.
"Outworlders"
Kain ford water balls around the three of them, Max let out his aura and got ready to attack, only Keijisama stood calm and collected as he tried to observe his surrounding.
"You all are almost flawless."
"Who are you?!" Kain asked
"My na is Lorak Orbryn and I am also known as elder elderwood, an high elf, what do you seek in the elven kingdom? "
Kain wanted to take a step when Keijisama stopped him.
"Stop, we are surrounded by hundreds of archers one step and it could be the end for you"
The high elf smiled, "oho, a sharp one" He jumped down and appeared to them, unlike every other elf he was tall, very tall and hard horns that looked like that of a dear but was not as huge, his face thin and his eyeball was deep and brown. His clothing was prestigious and the elven style but was more of a gown that made him look like a sage, he had no beards or anything but his face was old.
"they are called Amroth’s order, guardians of the wood and they are extrely fast and are trained to kill silent without causing much of a hassle, they might not be assassins but are capable of stealth than even the best of assassins and yet you managed to discover them just by taking so few glances around. Who are you people? says?"
"No sir, we are rely wanderers looking for where to settle down"
The high elf squeezed his face, "you lot are too strong to be wanderers"
"We were part of a guild, but were attacked by the forgab empire ryders we lost our guild and everything else, hence we are trying to start anew"
Keijisama spoke.
The high elf sighed,
"If that is the case I understand and will let you into the elven kingdom of Faerdham, but here is my warning..."
The high elf unleashed his aura, which fell on them like a catastrophe, the sky darkened and began to rumble.
"Ahh, I really didn’t an for that to happen" he smiled.
They whispered amongst themselves,
"elderwood is doing it again, he’s flexing"
"Yea, I know, he does everyti there’s a newcor"
The smiling high elf’s eyeball went towards the dire.ction they were at, imdiately there was perfect decorum.
Kain and Max found the rush of aura very intimidating but Keijisama withstood it, the high elf looked him and smiled, turned around and said, "Follow "
They walked deeper into the forest, guarded by the elven archers also known as guardians of the wood for about half an hour and Max kept looking in awe throughout, Kain and Keijisama must’ve been able to digest it well but Max was overwheld, he only watched about elves only in movies but he was following an elf to their kingdom right now, if not for the series of event that had happened to Max before now, this reality would’ve been hard for him to accept. After a while they read a large wood-crafted wall, even though it was crafted with wood it was very high, too high to be crafted by just elves alone.
One of the guardians whistled and seconds later a part of the wall began to enter the ground, then imdiately arrived a long stay of soldiers in completely different armours from the guardians, the guardians had a brown and silver armour while these ones wore green and silver, their helt was silver the main clothing was green but the threading was silver and each of them carried a a rectangular shield which looked too big for their statures but elves were not to be judged by their looks alone.
The elderwood and the rest of the party entered into the kingdom, Max was a little intimidated by the unnecessary charade but he shook it off.
On entering into the kingdom’s main walls, what anyone of the three of them expected wasn’t what they saw.
The whole place was flowing with life. Kain’s eye widened at such beauty, the streets, the buildings, down to every vendor was very eye catching in their own way, there was this splendor of multi colour which gave the whole place a feeling of roughness yet it felt calm and lively. Not to even speak of the fact that there were not the only humans around. Dark elves, blood elves, wood elves, dwarfs and all kind of races were walking the street, all three of them could not help but be marvelled and curious as to which kind of city they were in.
Then the elderwood got in front of them.
"Surprised right?, that is how it always is for first-tirs but you see Faerdham is for people who have given up on war, aningless battles and have co to settle down for peace, so you are not the first set of rcenaries to be here, you will probably et strong folks like yourself hit number one rule here is to not fight on the street, such things as destroying buildings, and causing a large disturbance the queen detests them, you could be charged heavily so be careful. Hence I wish you a happy stare"
He disappeared instantly, the guardians all lept away in different directions.
The three of them entered into the bubbling crowd, firstly admiring the sight of everything that was being displayed and secondarily finding a place to stay.
After a long while they were finally able to get sowhere. The place seed a bit tacky and hoodish but it was the perfect thing for them as of now.
Kain reached the bartender.
"ohh, a new cor"
"A big room for three"
"hmm, do you have the currency, as a matter of fact here in Faerdham we don’t use silver and gold coin pieces"
"Ha, my bad...."
"but I can help you, you can stay but seeing as you are you are fit. Register as an adventurer at the kingdom guild house and earn so new money, then pay . You understand that."
"Yes sir, thank you sir"
The bartender who was the innkeeper also slid the room key to him.
"Happy stay"
"Yooo! Heris is that a new kid" A drunken man staggered forward.
"it’s not your concern Stampe, you can as well stay out of my business"
"Co on man are you angry just because of so few papers I’m owing you"
"Yes, you are but I’m used to you, just don’t ss with this guys"
The drunken man got closer to Kain who was about to leave and then uses his big rough hand to lift Kain’s chin up.
"Doesn’t he look to good for a rcenary, he looks like he’s from a prestigious family"
"Stop it Stompe!"
Kain looking at the drunken man was already vexed enough but he leot the words of the elderwood on his mind and was refraining himself strongly.
"One more act of disrespect, just one more and you will never be allowed access into this bar again."
"tsk!" He spat on the floor and began to leave
"there are tons of bars around bar boy, don’t act so tough!"
He left.
"Haa, so people can be like that here, don’t mind it"
"They are everywhere I completely understand"
Kain looked at Max and Keiji sama and went up the stairs he looked at his status as he climbed.
