Chapter 102: Chapter 101: The Sleeping darkness 3: Contract
"This will be over earlier than I expected"
Russ watched as everyone massacred the orcs and Fangdorrs, the plan to attack with fire had thrown them off balance, so this was like a one-sided kill, even though they still lost n on their side, the battle was looking like theirs, the only person they had to get was the leader. Dor’thuk, if he does everyone’s battle spirit would die down in an instant. But he wasn’t a joke either, he slaughtered everyone including students with anger and bare hands, he hadn’t even drawn the dual sword on his back, yet with pure strength he massacred many, soone had to keep him in check if things were going to go their way.
A dwarf with a very large hamr, an elven girl who seed to be an Elentalist, a dark assassin in entirely dark clothing were dashing towards the Fangdorr leader, Russ without hesitation joined them. He ran in at a horrifying speed, Zolin was the first to land a hit, suddenly erging from the shadows and slashing his back. Then disappearing into thin air, after much training Zolin’s power over the shadows has increased, his assassination skills were getting better, all mark of an assassin is their camouflage and clean hit.
Zolin’s double dagger was gifted by Rein, they were expensive and the effect was enormous, a dagger capable of inflicting paralysis and poison on its target, of course, Rein had been tempted to use it, since he knew it would be an easier kill, but his sense of leadership was developing, he felt the urge to contribute towards the growth of his party so he poured a lot of his money into items for everyone.
The things Rein did was; infuse a high-grade protection rune on the party’s battle uniform, purchased everyone high-grade pieces of equipnt and fulfilled all of their requests. He had the money to do it after all, but he was going to go broke if he kept doing that which is why he decided to use the portion making as a source of his money-making, not that Duke Erin would refuse it anyways.
It was a joint attack and was too for Dor’thuk especially when Zolin kept disappearing on him, the elental attacks, and the main damage dealer who did not waste any opening to smash him with his large hamr, not to talk of Russ who was shooting from afar with what looked like the Britannia era pistle, he couldn’t afford to get hit so he had to avoid all the gunshots, he had a lot to deal with at the sa ti and was bound to leave small openings every ti which Zolin and the dwarf always took advantage. Jon watched the battle from afar as the sword of ice whirling around him dealt with his enemies.

Jon was always concerned about Rein’s reputation, which had been damaged before everyone but still, there were still few that started to believe in him since the tournants. He was determined to make everyone realize Rein’s true strength, everyone, especially the leaders.
Even though the tides of the battle was on their side, the fierce battle wasn’t coming to an end, the Fangdorrs were persistent and it took at least two soldiers to bring down one orc or Fangdorr. The battle on the other side continued.

Nonek’s eye opened to reality, everyone else was stagnant, standing like a statue, he breathed hard as he fell to his knees, he quickly touched his belly but he realized he hadn’t even removed his sword from where it sat at his back. He sighed relieved and looked ahead at the beast which was still lying down but had its eyes wide open.
Nonek was conflicted, no matter how much he thought about it this was still death, only he cannot go up against a demonic beast. He had no idea what to do, his legs did not move and he was sweating all over.
’See ....even though you left my illusion world, it makes no difference. But I must admit, things have changed. Over the past 800 years or more no one has ever broken free of the illusion’
The beast flicked the finger on its lower arms and a small light began to flicker around, with this Nonek was able to see all of the skeletons lying, sitting, standing around. They were the bodies of the past raid teams that have also co to search for the demonic beast.
The beast stands up, it was even larger and darker than the one in the illusions, but its crab-like arms and legs were chained down so it had a very limited movent, giving Nonek so hope and relief.

A larger magical circle with runic engravings appeared on the floor, Nonek exclaid he had underestimated the demonic beast way too much, well he couldn’t be blad since he too knew very little about it. He drew his sword and held it at his shoulder level, with both of his hands holding it tightly, he pushed his right foot forward which smashed into the ground and crashed the surrounding because of the intimidating amount of aura Nonek released at once.
"AURA MANIFESTATION STAGE THREE: CLONING!!" Nonek had underestimated the demonic beast way too much, he was going to take things seriously, Nonek had a dark blue smoky aura, a lot of pressure fell on the beast.
’What is this force, isn’t this like our demonic energy, I’ve seen many use it but I’ve never seen such an intimidating amount. You truly are a worthy opponent. CO FORTH HEZROU!!’
A creature looking like a humanoid shark but with horns all over its body down to the end of its spinal cord, it had long arms and short legs, its hands had three thick sharp claws but Nonek stared at it with conviction in his eyes.
The creature firstly began to speak in a language that Nonek was unable to understand, it had a disturbing vibration and disturbed his head.
"(what you are able to summon
from the alternate realm)"
"(Yes but because of the seal, the ti Is really short, plus your physical abilities are cut in half)"
"(what the heck Gezrou, you really have been had)"
"(I have no ti for your chit chat, finish the human in front of you)"
"(why is a demon getting worked up over a human, you-)"
"(Hezrou!!)"

The summoned Hezrou almost lost its head, "(what a dangerous aura, no wonder brother was scared)"
Nonek realized the demonic beast was trying to talk to him, but since he couldn’t understand their language he did not care. Instead, five of his clones suddenly appeared above Hezrou. Who shot the horns on his back around to buy distance. Unlike Gezrou, Hezrou was of a lower rank demonic beast and couldn’t use telepathy or summoning magic but he had a unique ability which allowed him to be resistant to all elental attribute and being able to return three tis of damages received he also had the last defence which made his defence impenetrable if he would die with the next attack. So Hezrou was particularly cocky and always felt like he was immortal, he never thought there would ever be a human that...
"AURA MANIFESTATION STAGE FOUR FORM ONE:"
Both of the demonic brothers stared at the massive energy that fell on the atmosphere, Hezrou fell to the ground due to the pressure.
"(...to think he was still capable, who on earth...?)"
"CAVALRY!"
Multiple images of blue figures on a horse appeared around them, a very large amount of them. They filled the whole forest.
"ATTACK"
All of them dashed at Hezrou who yelled for help in the abysmal language and cried out in anger as his summoning was cancelled.

’Indeed, I am chained plus the chains are constantly feeding on my demonic energy and getting stronger so I can’t do much. But look around you, they’re still fighting and getting killed over and over again’
Nonek looked around with pity in his eyes, but soon sharpen his gaze, "well they will automatically be freed was I killed you"

enlighten you about a demonic beast, there exist, three distinct class of demonic beast, the Primordial demonic beast, the Catastrophic demonic beast and the Ragnarok demonic beast. And as simple as I may be looking I’ve been a Catastrophic demonic beast for a thousand years, and the only reason why the Catastrophic and primordial demonic beast is special is because of their immortality. Human I cannot be killed, besides the fact that you kill
will not grant your friends freedom, it’s a loop that has been set in place, it doesn’t need my interference anymore, it’s an illusion yet their souls are completely separated in a distinguished reality of my creation. Either way you can never have them, but I can propose a deal with you human’
