Chapter 710: Chapter 376 “Void World” and “The First Step to Ascend to the Other Shore” (Subscribe Please)_1
The old man’s voice trailed off, and Milton Cheney didn’t speak, simply shaking his head with an indifferent expression.
This was an instinctual act; at this mont, as an observer, Milton Cheney could no longer control his body.
In the next mont, the old man’s profound eyes deeply gazed at Milton Cheney one last ti, then without further words, his figure moved and left the place.
He had said all the advice he had to offer. After all, he couldn’t possibly force Milton Cheney.
From a third-person perspective.
Suddenly, an aberration appeared in the Space surrounding Milton Cheney, a pitch-black Void portal materializing in front of him.
Without the slightest hesitation, Milton Cheney stepped into the Void portal.
Milton Cheney, who retained all the mories of this body, naturally knew what this Void portal represented.
If the Transcendence Path could be likened to a World, then the other shore would exist within another World.
For a Cultivator of the seventh or eighth stage, crossing from one World to another might seem easy, but what about an Ordinary Person?
An Ordinary Person attempting to cross from one World to another was almost impossible.
Without the aid of any tools, the possibility of success was non-existent.
The reason why it’s said to be extrely difficult for a Transcendent to take the step onto the Transcendence Path and ascend to the other shore is because this step signifies an Ordinary Person crossing from one World to another.
The difficulty of the two is the sa, and ascending to the other shore is even more challenging.
Within the Void World, Milton Cheney’s figure appeared.
The next mont, Milton Cheney suddenly started.
Because he clearly felt that his control over his body had suddenly returned.
This also ant that to step onto the Transcendence Path and ascend the other shore, he needed to steer the course himself.
The sensations brought about by the first-person and the third-person perspectives were entirely different for Milton Cheney.
From the third-person perspective, he could easily face everything, knowing that whether he succeeded or failed had little to do with him; he only needed to play the role of an observer well.
But when shifting from a third-person perspective to that of one personally experiencing it, things were completely different.
At least now, Milton Cheney suddenly didn’t know what to do.
This had nothing to do with experience or history; the original owner of this body had never gone through this scene either.
Milton Cheney was rely a bit dazed, for he hadn’t made any preparations.
It could be said that if the original owner of this body were to complete this step, there would be at least a slim possibility of success.
But for him to take control of this body and make this final step now ant there was no possibility of success at all.
However, even so, the emotions arising in Milton Cheney’s heart were just montary.
After all, whether he succeeded or failed, it was all just a simulation.
Although the Fate Simulation was precious, Milton Cheney still didn’t know what the Fate Simulation could offer him.
The experience within this Fate Simulation had been sowhat unexpected, but it was still just a trial and an experint.
To understand more about the Fate Simulation, he could only see what he retained after the Simulation Ends in reality.
“Then let try and see just how difficult it is to ascend to the other shore,”
In this mont, perceiving the eerily unreal World around him, Milton Cheney whispered to himself.
Now that he had regained control of this body, he had no way out and could only attempt it.
After all, whether he ultimately failed or succeeded seed to have no downside for him.
Such an opportunity wasn’t available to just anyone.
In the next mont, as Milton Cheney’s thought stirred, he began to control his physical body following the mories in his mind, attempting to break through the Void World.
“BOOM!!”
A loud noise filled the Void World.
The disturbance was great, but like a large stone thrown into a pool of water, the Void World beca calm again after a mont.
To ascend to the other shore, breaking through this Void World was only the first step.
Yet, it was this very first step that trapped Milton Cheney.
Milton Cheney suddenly felt very powerless.
Just as it’s difficult for an Ordinary Person to split open a rock, Milton Cheney felt like this Space in the Void was unbreakable.
Normally, no matter how difficult this step was to accomplish, Milton Cheney would not entertain such thoughts.
But at that mont, these thoughts spontaneously erged in Milton Cheney’s mind.
This proved that sothing was subtly influencing him.
Milton Cheney’s ntal fortitude was strong, and rging with all the mories of this body only strengthened it further, making him understandably not easily influenced.
Therefore, Milton Cheney remained calm, trying over and over to break the Void World.
Ti slowly passed, the length of which was unknown.
In this Void World, Milton Cheney could not perceive the passage of ti at all, and how long had gone by remained a mystery to him.
Fortunately, the wear of ti had a very minimal impact on Milton Cheney.
The lengthy simulations had carved his ntal fortitude into sothing even more resilient under the erosion of ti.
“It still won’t work. This body is so powerful, yet the impact it has on this Void World is so negligible,”
Milton Cheney mused to himself.
Although he could not perceive the exact passage of ti, he couldn’t be completely devoid of concept.
After all, even though he wasn’t concerned about the passage of ti, he was exceptionally sensitive to it.
This Space could scramble his sense of ti, but it couldn’t muddle his self-awareness.
