Third Person POV

Aretuza.

...

...

"What just happened here?!" Philippa couldn't help but comnt as she kept her distance. She, Sabrina, Francesca, and other witches stepped back, creating a shield to protect themselves from the spells being cast in their direction, and even from the flas spreading throughout the place.

The place was filled with corpses, but none allied with Madara, with him still on the ceiling, standing upside down.

"You dare open fire in Aretuza?!" Tissaia's voice ca like thunder, making it seem as though the castle itself was trembling.

The mages who had not taken sides were frightened by the sudden chaos, and the attendants who were not magical were even more disturbed, fearing for their lives — especially as many were killed in the midst of the Northern mages' attack against Yennefer and Geralt's group.

"How can this happen? How did it co to this?" Certainly, all dignity and rights of the mages would be lost.

Even the most talented students who had been assigned to serve the famous sorcerers could not believe what they had just seen. All of them trembled in a corner. Isabella was among them, calr, but she had never seen mages fight each other like that.

Then she barely managed to see Madara move.

He was killing mages on all sides, teleporting without magical fluctuations, attacking with blades that the mages couldn't even defend against. He was still there, standing in the middle of the ceiling, after eliminating all the sorcerers who had launched that fire attack.

He dropped from the ceiling, landing on the ground with ease — sothing that should not be humanly possible. But she knew that nothing about Madara was normal.

"Stop fighting! Do you know what you have just done tonight?!" Tissaia's voice echoed again. "This is beyond any forgiveness! Northern mages, Nilfgaardian mages, attacking us when we are dealing with a serious problem involving an invasion from another world!"

"This isn't right..." a voice ca from a corner — a Northern mage who had been working with the group against Madara. He looked around at the corpses.

Hen had been controlled the entire ti, and that sent a chill down his spine. "That's why they still haven't co with reinforcents..."

Imdiately, he realized. Hen should have sent a signal for reinforcents while they were fighting — the first attack was only ant to distract while a new force entered Aretuza.

Which hadn't happened so far. Because, in the end... Hen had been controlled.

Tissaia was about to speak again, but sothing suddenly happened. The entire castle shook once more, making everything tremble, accompanied by screams.

Madara received information from his clones outside Aretuza and looked straight toward the window. Outside... sothing was erging from a giant portal.

"This is..." Yennefer also saw it through the window.

"The Wild Hunt!", Ciri interrupted Yennefer, firm, as she tightened her grip on her sword. "So they really ca."

Tissaia imdiately looked, horrified. And all those mages who had remained neutral also began to look toward the window in horror.

In Aretuza, all around it, several portals began to appear — with ships floating in the air, surrounded by a white and freezing mist.

"This is the Wild Hunt...", Madara said to Tissaia.

Tissaia's eyes widened before she looked at the sorcerers and mages. "Listen, everyone! We are under attack by the Wild Hunt itself!"

Suddenly, another explosion struck the barrier, making the entire castle tremble once again. They were trying to break through, but since the breaches had been repaired as soon as they discovered the sabotage, the barrier was still holding.

But with the barrier they had... it wouldn't last long.

Tissaia realized imdiately. "We need to prepare for battle! Nilfgaard and so Northern sorcerers have made a pact with these creatures from another world! I will not force anyone to stay — this is your chance to leave, but I ask that you take the students and the non-magical people. I ask that you stay to protect the castle, if you can."

The sorcerers were quite worried, while the nobles who were present imdiately decided to leave.

Portals began to be created, as sorcerers and their companions — along with so non-magical people — started to withdraw. Even the young woman who had been used for the mories was escorted out through the portals.

Soone was sent to call the students under Tissaia's command.

Many sorcerers simply left without even helping with the portals. They didn't want to remain in the middle of all that chaos.

Once again, the castle trembled. Cracks began to appear in the barrier.

There were more than two dozen ships... with at least around five hundred mbers.

Madara teleported and landed on the roof of the tallest tower, while the sky and the castle were illuminated by that light that was both white and dark at the sa ti, created by the portals.

Ciri teleported to his side. "So that was it... Nilfgaard really allied with them. They're after us because of their goals," Ciri growled.

"Most likely Emhyr has no idea what he's doing," Madara replied mockingly.

"More than ever, this is personal now." Ciri said.

"This is our fight, Ciri. Let's destroy a good portion of those bastards tonight." Madara said, smiling as more portals opened, more ships were arriving.

"Yes... and then deal with them once and for all. And... get closer to seeing Aren again," Ciri said, thinking of their son.

But in the distance, more ships appeared. Cracks began to twist through the space, while those beings watched.

'You will have to go to the portal if you want to preserve the present.' A voice suddenly appeared in Ciri's mind. She beca alard and looked toward one of the buildings of Aretuza.

"Sothing wrong?", Madara noticed.

She kept looking at the place before answering. "I... don't know." There was a certain caution in her voice. She didn't know where that was coming from. It shouldn't be possible.

She heard that voice directly in her mind. It was practically a ntal attack. But her shields — reinforced by Madara — would never let sothing like that pass through. Much less without any difficulty... or without activating her defenses. Even so... nothing had been detected.

Several sorcerers began to appear on the rooftops, interrupting Ciri's thoughts. Even those who had remained neutral now seed tense, seeing the enormous army of elves trying to break through the barrier surrounding the entire defense.

The barrier... was reaching its limit.

They could see a mber of the Wild Hunt appearing at the prow, watching everyone from within his armor.

He raised his arm, holding a staff, and pointed downward. A power was unleashed, striking directly at the limit of the barrier — and then it began to disintegrate throughout the castle.

All the enemy sorcerers began to cast spells. Orbs of lightning and pure magic quickly ford and were launched at the sa ti. Several Wild Hunt sorcerers also attacked, along with archers, advancing against them.

"Can you take us to one of the ships?", Madara asked.

Ciri nodded, already preparing to teleport — much better than him using the kunai with Hiraishin.

'You have to co to the portal.' The voice resurfaced in Ciri's mind.

But she ignored it. In the next mont, she teleported with Madara.

Both appeared on one of the ships — the sa one from which that commander had led the attack against the barrier.

Aretuza was beginning to be invaded, while rifts appeared beneath it.

A woman from the Wild Hunt watched in surprise — but in the next instant, a blade struck her, beheading her. Everything happened in the blink of an eye.

Ciri was already advancing, while Madara looked around. The deck was filled with soldiers and monsters of the Hunt. They turned, surprised.

Madara made just one hand seal. Then he inflated his chest and released flas — which imdiately flooded the entire deck, engulfing the ship.

The roar of the flas drew attention among the many ships, as that one was already being consud by fire.

Madara saw magical projectiles coming from the right. He created Susanoo with one arm, placing it in front to protect himself and Ciri.

Then his eyes bled. "Amaterasu."

In the next instant, black flas erged, striking another ship. The fire began to consu the wood, advancing little by little.

"This ship... and the other are already dood," Madara said. One burned in red flas. The other, in black flas.

The mbers of the Wild Hunt themselves tried to extinguish the black fire with ice magic — but it was useless. The flas continued consuming the ship slowly.

Ciri and Madara teleported once more and reappeared on another floating ship.

Both began to attack using their martial abilities.

Ciri moved with her absurd speed, eliminating dozens of soldiers in monts — sothing that not even her canonical version at her peak could achieve so easily. But here she was far more powerful.

At the sa ti, Madara wielded his sword wrapped in lightning, cutting through anyone as if they were nothing.

The battle continued for so ti. Ciri teleported to the side of a ship, wielding a layer of energy on her sword before bringing Zireael down.

She split the ship in half. Obliterating everyone as it broke into two with debris scattering.

"Incredible..." Ciri couldn't help but look in admiration, she was beginning to master the power of her blood, when it was once out of control.

Even the Wild Hunt seed disturbed upon seeing this through the visors of their helts.

Once again, Madara finished with a burst of flas, destroying another ship before joining Ciri with Hiraishin.

Tissaia appeared outside, on one of the rooftops as well. Her eyes reflected the chaos.

The ships were being destroyed — many of them capsized after being consud by black flas, red flas, and Ciri's attacks, falling directly into the sea.

The sorceresses were protecting Aretuza, trying to create shields against the attacks coming from the ships.

Tissaia looked toward the still-lit main hall. They were sending the students and the non-magical people away, while she also saw several sorcerers simply turning their backs on everything and going to save themselves.

"A bunch of cowards..." she couldn't help but mutter. She turned to look again at the dozens of ships in front of her. She had never imagined she would face sothing like this one day — especially in the middle of Aretuza.

Geralt also ca outside, running. He couldn't help but frown as he saw the entire place surrounded.

Tissaia also noticed sothing at that mont. Her gaze fixed as a circle of perfectly aligned ships around them began to cast sothing at the prow, with n wearing armor and holding staffs.

"Ciri!", Madara warned imdiately.

Ciri saw that and understood.

She and Madara were massacring the navigators on the ships before they could complete the combined spell — but it wasn't enough.

There were too many ships doing it at the sa ti.

The mont they finished... A massive snowstorm began to form, covering not only the ships, but all of Aretuza.

Everyone's minds seed to freeze.

"Fall back! Fall back!", Tissaia shouted to her companions, with so collapsing.

The sorceresses outside began to resist, but soon started teleporting back inside. Even Geralt retreated when the storm caught him off guard, making the invasion easier.

"Madara!", Ciri shouted as she found herself alone on one of the ships.

She tried to speak to him ntally, but couldn't. The communication was being interfered with by the snowstorm.

'You're going to have to go to the portal.' The voice resurfaced once again in her mind.

Ciri clenched her teeth. She didn't understand it. There shouldn't be anyone capable of breaking through her ntal defenses like that.

Suddenly, a glow began to erge within the storm.

Ciri, who was being surrounded by mbers of the Hunt, widened her eyes as she saw the shape of sothing gigantic being ford — a structure over a hundred ters tall, far larger than the castle of Aretuza itself.

Not even the largest ship ca close to its height.

Madara activated the complete Susanoo. Ciri realized imdiately.

Even the mbers of the Wild Hunt paused for a mont, in admiration and fear, watching the blue giant. Even with the storm, it was still possible to see its glow and its colossal form within the blizzard.

The Susanoo moved its hand. A gigantic arm erged, grabbing the ship Ciri was on — completely crushing the deck, along with the Wild Hunt soldiers, except for Ciri who stood at the prow.

The ship was lifted to the crystalline forehead, where Madara was. "Ciri, stay inside Aretuza. I will deal with these bastards out here."

She nodded, agreeing that she didn't have the best advantage fighting there with the storm. "Alright... just stay safe."

"You too."

The two exchanged a look.

In the next instant, Ciri disappeared.

Madara then closed his hand. The ship shattered completely.

Releasing the debris, he moved forward. "Let's deal with these bastards."

There were still nearly two dozen ships left to destroy.
