The door had barely closed behind Elarliya when the expression on rek’s face shifted... slowly, strangely, like a crack spreading through stone.

Then he laughed.

A low, sharp laugh burst out of him as he dragged a hand down his face, shaking his head.

"So silly," he muttered to himself, still smirking. "What a witch..."

He wasn’t angry. Not even close.

He was entertained.

He had never t anyone like her. The way she snapped, the way she hid her cruelty behind that sharp tongue, the way her eyes burned like she wanted to peel his skin off every ti he touched her.

He loved it.

He loved her... not in the soft, romantic way other n fell in love, but in the twisted, obsessive way a monster admired another monster.

"She thinks she can fool ..." he murmured, licking his teeth. "But I like her. I like her a little too much."

His smile darkened.

"But business is more important right now."

His gaze hardened instantly, the amusent draining out of him. There were matters far more urgent than teasing that deadly little witch. He needed to et his brothers... right now.

rek straightened, rolled his shoulders, and walked out like a man preparing for war.

Because he was.

In the Capital - Navien’s Estate

The capital was loud, crowded, and bright.

But the palace he headed toward was silent.

One of the most luxurious estates in the capital... Alpha Navien’s personal manor. The gates stood tall and unmoving. Guards stiffened when they saw rek approaching.

He ignored them all.

Alpha Navien...

One of the strongest of the four Alpha brothers.

But he had been in a coma for days... ever since returning from the Silver Dawn Pack.

No one knew who attacked him. No one knew how a top tier Alpha ended up broken, unconscious, and nearly ripped apart.

But rek had his suspicions.

The sa four arrogant Alpha brothers who always acted high and mighty. The sa dogs who didn’t even give the Alphas face, not once.

His jaw clenched. They would pay.

As he entered the courtyard, he mind linked his remaining two brothers.

"Co. Now."

The reply ca instantly.

"On our way." Alpha Corvus replied imdiately.

"Already close." Alpha Drevan also replied as he entered the estate just after him.

rek entered the hallways.

The mood inside was suffocating... heavy, cold, suffused with fear. Servants bowed and scrambled out of his path as he marched through the hallways like a storm.

Navien’s room was guarded by elite warriors.

They stepped aside the mont they saw him.

Alpha Drevan arrived first, his eyes oozing confidence and his face calm as always but today his aura was cracking with fury.

Alpha Corvus followed a mont later, he was broad shouldered, scarred, eyes burning with barely controlled rage.

All three of them entered Navien’s room together.

The sight made the air turn freezing cold.

Navien lay unconscious on the bed, pale, bandaged, his once unbreakable body bruised and torn. His chest rose weakly, each breath a struggle.

As a powerful Alpha, his wounds should have been healed long ago but it felt like they were refusing to heal, like soone had cursed him to rot in eternal pain.

Drevan’s fists tightened so hard the bones cracked.

Corvus stared silently, jaw clenched, eyes dark.

rek stepped closer, his expression no longer playful, no longer mocking... only violence remained.

"They did this," he said quietly. His voice was soft... but filled with a deadly edge like he was already promising hell to whoever did this.

Corvous nodded. "The four Alpha brothers."

Drevan growled, "Who else would dare? Who else has the power to bring Navien to this state?"

The three brothers stood there, the weight of their fury filling the room like poison.

rek looked at Navien’s still face and exhaled slowly.

"They killed Eirik," he said. "Now this."

His eyes narrowed. "Do you want to wait until they kill the rest of us?"

"But they have a grudge against Eirik but not us, how sure are we that it was really them. Are they going against us so openly?"

"I don’t think aside from them soone is powerful enough to attack him like this," Alpha Corvus said.

Drevan’s voice dropped. "We should strike first."

rek turned to face them fully, his aura exploding outward like a blade of pure anger.

"Exactly."

His voice was calm... but deadly.

"We’re not waiting anymore. Soone is already on our tail. Soone is watching us every mont. And if we hesitate, we will die. So we should attack first."

Corvus took a step forward. "You an we start the plan early?"

"Yes," rek said. "We have no choice."

Drevan slamd a fist against the table. "Good. Let them taste fear. Let them bleed. Let them regret ever thinking they can stand above the Councils."

rek nodded.

"Before they strike us... we’ll strike them."

His eyes burned with a murderous glow.

"And when the Lycans fall, the entire werewolves community will be ours."

It was their dream from a long ti ago, the Lycans had already weakened, so why would they sit on the throne when they were nothing but just like them...

In werewolves, whoever has the power, the throne will belong to that person and not soone who has lycan blood in them.

They had been deeply dissatisfied with this for a long ti, but now they would change this rule.

"Alpha Drevan, did you bring witches?" rek asked him.

And Alpha Drevan imdiately nodded; after all, those young witches were one of the most important things in their plan.

If sothing happened to them, then maybe they could only dream about getting the throne.

After all, witches had those powerful abilities that could boost a werewolf’s power and make them younger... even their strength restored to the point when they were in their pri.

Yes, those witche’s blood was like a aphrodisiac for them, not only would it make them intoxicated but also more powerful and savage.

After drinking their blood, their wolf would beco unbeatable and could rip apart anyone...

And this beca more intoxicating when they fucked those bitches senseless and drank their blood.
