Chapter 76 - Please Resign
Xiao i walked towards the nearest restaurant. Robert who was following her sat on the opposite chair.
"Big Brother Robert. Tell , why did you co to Beijing? Did you follow here??"
Robert sighed.
He tried to reach Xiao i’s hand that was placed on the table but she imdiately retracted it. "Big brother Robert, please... Answer my question."
Robert stared at her. His eyes were full of longing and love.
"Little i, you know why I ca here. It’s all because of you. I wanted to see you. I miss you."
Xiao i felt guilty. She knew that her big brother Robert had feelings for her. She already knew about that since they were young.
"Big brother Robert, you shouldn’t have co. I... I can’t marry you... I’m sorry."
Xiao i could only tell him the truth. She did not want to give him any false hope. She loved him like a brother. That was the main reason why she ran away from ho. She did not want to marry soone she treated like a brother.
When Robert heard those words, he could not help but clench his fists. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Little i.. I will not force you..but please, give a chance to show my love to you... I’m not asking you to love back.... Letting love you is enough for ."
Xiao i wanted to tell him to give up but before she could say anything, Robert already beat her to it.
"Please do not say that I should give up on you... Little i.. please...just let love you.. I promise I will not force you or anything.. I just want to see you, have dinner with you, talk with you.. like how we used to be.."
Robert smiled and stood up.
"Little i... As long as you are not married, I will not stop pursuing you... You and I are engaged... Just give a chance to show you that I am worthy of your love. I gotta go. I will call you soon."
Robert leaned forward and sneakily took a peck on her cheeks.
Before Xiao i could react, Robert was already at the front door.
In the end, Xiao i could only glare at him. When she looked at her watch, she realized that it was already late. MinDe might be at ho right now. Xiao i imdiately stood up and hurriedly walked towards the door.

MinFeng was current busy facing his laptop. He wanted to finish everything so he could return ho early. His schedule was a bit hectic since he was trying to finish everything before FengJiu’s twenty ninth birthday. He could only move his schedule forward so he could have enough ti to prepare everything.
He wanted FengJiu’s birthday celebration to be perfect. He wanted to propose to her on the day she was born. FengJiu already knew that they would marry each other again but she had no idea that he would propose on her birthday.
It had been hours since he sat on the chair and faced his laptop. His eyes were starting to get blurry.
He was pinching the center of his brows when Chen Hao entered the office.
"Boss, here are the files you needed for LongXi Complex."
"Enn.. put it on the table."
MinFeng resud typing on his laptop. Chen Hao felt that his Boss needed to rest so he suggested that MinFeng should sleep a bit before working again.
"Boss..I think you should rest for a while. I will finish this one for you."
MinFeng stopped his hands from pressing the keyboard and raised his head to stare at Chen Hao.
"How about the monthly report of Jade Hill Resort and the upcoming sale promotion of Xuan Mall of China?"
Chen Hao nodded.
"This subordinate already finished everything. Boss, I think you should really rest. Young Madam might worry."
When MinFeng heard FengJiu’s na, he imdiately nodded. He was afraid that she might get angry if she found out that he was not paying attention to his health.
He gave the files to Chen Hao and entered a small room. The room was designed to be a mini bedroom. It had a big bed in the center and a small cabinet which was full of his clothes. He usually used this room when he was very busy and could not return ho, but since he t FengJiu and lived with her, he never used it again.
MinFeng laid down on the bed and closed his eyes. Few minutes later, MinFeng fell asleep completely.
He did not know how long he had been sleeping but he dreamt of FengJiu.
FengJiu’s body was on top of him. Her two large buns were pressed on his chest.
She touched his face and kissed his neck.
MinFeng could not help but moan. He slowly worked his hands on her body. She giggled and kissed him wantonly.
He was starting to feel hot when he realized sothing was wrong.
FengJiu’s lips tasted different. Although it was still tender, there was no usual sweetness.
Her body felt different. It was still smooth and soft but it did not fit in his embrace, like he was holding soone else.
Her scent was different. FengJiu’s scent had a faint mint on it. He always felt comfortable whenever he hugged her. He liked to sll her scent, especially on her neck. But the scent he slled right now made him want to puke. A very strong sll of perfu assaulted his nostrils.
MinFeng imdiately opened his eyes and saw YanRong on top of him.
"FUCK!!!"
When he saw YanRong, MinFeng’s soul almost few away.
He hurriedly pushed her off him and stood up.
He repeatedly wiped his lips while glaring at her.
"WHY. THE. HELL. ARE. YOU. HERE??!"
YanRong felt like she was slapped a thousand tis.
Being pushed by the person she loved, YanRong could not help but cry.
"Feng ge..."
She tried to touch him but he stepped back as if he despised being touched by her.
MinFeng glared at her and said,
"Miss Yan, it seems like you are not in your right mind. If you can’t separate your work from your personal desire, I suggest that you grab your things and resign imdiately!!"
