Chapter 50 - My Lovely MinDe

FengJiu needed to recuperate at the hospital for few days before she could leave.
Fortunately, nothing happened after she woke up. No complications were found and everything was normal. Even Little Bump’s vital signs were normal.
As FengJiu was still staying in the hospital, MinFeng assigned 20 bodyguards for her.
FengJiu almost puked blood after learning the truth. She is not so Young Mistress nor an Imperial Concubine that needed protection all the ti. She could take care of herself.
But MinFeng insisted. He was afraid that the main culprit would strike again inside the hospital.
He could only tighten the security and make sure no one could enter and leave without permission.
MinFeng decided to create a mini hospital room in his estate to cater FengJiu’s needs once they move in.
He already asked 5 doctors to temporarily live in his estate to monitor FengJiu’s health and recovery.
He was still very vigilant. He did not want FengJiu to stay here in the hospital. But she needed to undergo tests so he could only grit his teeth and wait for few days.

Xiao i was bored to death. After FengJiu and MinFeng left that night, YanFei gege also left few minutes later.
Since then, FengJiu did not contact her.
She could only sigh.
’Aiyaa... I’m bored to death... What should I do? I don’t even know MinDe’s schedule.. Aiyoo.. I’m afraid to ask bad gege.’
Xiao i went back to the Market where she ate last ti to relieve her boredom.
She also wanted to find out if soone found her handkerchief.
When she left the hotel, she did not noticed a black rcedes Benz following her red Audi.

When she arrived at the market, she decided to ask the managent personnel about her handkerchief. Unfortunately, no one found it.
Xiao i could only sigh and give her thanks.
She was walking endlessly without even paying attention to the different delicacies presented in the stalls.
She lost her desire to eat food because of her handkerchief so she decided to board her car and drive towards the nearest mall to waste ti.
Before she could start the engine, her phone rang.
She looked at the screen.
The word ’MOTHER’ blinked few tis.
Xiao i was very reluctant to answer the phone call.
She left ho after her parents decided to betroth her with the son of their business partner in Arica.
She did not want soone to dictate her life.
She wanted to be free.
She wanted to find love.
She wanted to start a family with the person she loved and not because of mutual benefits.
So she left ho.
After few more rings, Xiao i decided to answer the phone call.
"Hello, mom?"
"Ah i! Where were you in these past few weeks?? You didn’t even call . You just left the house. Ah i... My darling... Are you okay? Are you eating well?"
Her mom sounded so helpless and full of worry.
Xiao i felt guilty.
She never really considered everything before she left ho.
She never thought of her mother, father, their company and everyone before marching out of the house and running away from her marriage.
"Mom.. Ah i was very willful and stubborn... But please forgive Ah i for running away... Mom.. I----"
Before she could finish her sentence, she heard a loud voice from the other side of the call.
"Who are you talking to? Is that your filial daughter?! How dare you contact that ungrateful child!!"
"Ah Guan, she is still your daughter! How could you say that?!"
Xiao Guan snorted.
"She left ho so she no longer have any connection towards the Xiao Family!"
Xiao i could hear everything what the old couple was arguing.
Xiao i could not help but bite her lips as tears fell down her cheeks.
She slowly said, "M-Mom.. It’s okay.. I’ll hang up."
But before she could end the call, her father snatched her mother’s phone.
"Why did you call?"
Xiao i wanted to retort and say that it was her mother who called her but in the end she just closed her mouth, refusing to answer her father’s question.
"You unfilial child! You only thought of yourself!! This union was made for the sake of Xiao Family--Our Family! For the sake of your happiness! You dare run away and give sha to our face! You are no longer fit to be my daughter."
Xiao i felt she was stabbed a hundred tis.
She could not help but burst into tears.
She laughed mockingly and answered her father.
"Really? You did it for my sake? Hahaha. No! No, dad... You did it for your sake!! Did you ever ask if I was willing?! That if I wanted to marry soone I do not love?? No! You did not care about !! You only cared about yourself! About Xiao Family’s face!! You only cared about our family business!!
But you never really cared about !! You never treated as your child!! You treated like a business collateral!! Soone you could use to expand the business grandfather gave!
I know, deep inside, you bla . You bla for being a daughter. That I was not a son that could carry the lineage of the Family..

Xiao i ended the call while sobbing hard.
It took her half an hour to control her emotions.
She left the car.
She went towards a Korean tent that was selling soju[1] and other finger foods.
"Ajussi! 5 glasses of soju!!"
Xiao i drank and drank until nightti.
She was leaning on the table.
She was dead drunk. She tried to stand up but she could not even use her feet. Her limbs were void of energy.
She tried to stand up again.
Fortunately, she was successful this ti but before she could take a step forward, her body swayed back and forth.
Her vision went blurry and she fell backwards.
Two big hands steadied her body.
She turned her head upward and saw two beautiful eyes staring at her.
She grinned.
"Ahhh! My lovely MinDe~ *hiccs* why-why are you here?? *hiccs*"
She hugged him like a koala. All of her limbs were firmly attached to his body.
The man’s mouth twitched while looking at her grimly.
