Chapter 35 - Waiting In Vain
Xiao i was humming tunes while preparing her dress.
It had been two hours. She had been trying to find a suitable dress for her. All her closets were filled with different types of signature dresses worth thousands of dollars, but she found all of it unworthy for tonight’s occasion.
When she did not find any dress that she fancied, she imdiately grabbed her purse and went out the hotel. She was currently living inside ’Luxury’, a five-star hotel owned by Lu MinFeng.
At first, she wanted to change place because she was afraid of that bad gege. But after she learned that it was MinDe who was currently managing the hotel, she gritted her teeth and tried to swallow her fear.
For the sake of her lovelife, she had to be brave.
’Jia You![1]’ Xiao i was on the 37th floor and she was currently walking towards the elevator.
The main office of the hotel was at the uppermost part of the building. While she was waiting for the elevator to arrive, she turned around and stared at the private elevator on the opposite side.
The private elevator can only be used by those prestigious people in the business world. Although Xiao i was surnad Xiao and the Heiress of Infinite Airlines, it wouldn’t change the fact that she could not receive such treatnt. If she used her grandfather’s power, she might be able to, but right now, she was on the run, hiding from her family.
The elevator’s door opened. She went inside and pressed the close button. As the doors closed, the private elevator opened. She saw two silhouettes inside the elevator. The woman turned and whispered sothing towards the man. When the woman went out, she saw the man’s face. Although she only saw half of his face because he was looking sideways while holding a phone, the first thing she noticed was his resemblance of MinDe.
She was unable to clearly see if she was correct because the elevator already closed the door.
’Was it... Nahhh.. Impossible! My beloved MinDe won’t betray . Besides, he’s a shy man. He won’t let those nasty won near him. Only I can touch him. No one else. Mmm.. Yup! It’s not him. Definitely not him.’ She decided to forget about it.
Xiao i went to the mall and entered countless boutiques to choose her OOTD[2].
After she saw a peach colored knee-length dress, she imdiately bought it without even counting the zeros on the tag.
After buying a dress, she imdiately went to a salon for a total makeover.
She instructed the makeup artist to do a Korean-style[3] look.
She did ManiPedi[4] and straightened her hair.
After 6 hours of beauty care, she was ready to knock this Second Young Master up!
She turned a couple of tis before she stared at herself in front of the mirror. Seeing that she looks beautiful. She inwardly complinted herself.
’Good!! MinDe will drool after seeing !’
Xiao i drove her car towards their eting place, The Royals. It was quarter to six already, few more minutes before MinDe arrive. She was sitting inside, waiting for him when a waiter ca and asked for her order.
"I’m still waiting for soone. I’ll call you again later."
"Yes ma’am."
The waiter nodded. Ti slowly ran. It was exactly 6 pm in the evening but she could not see MinDe, not even his shadow.
She already notified the managent, so, if he arrived, they would imdiately usher him towards her table.
One hour..
Two hours...
Three hours...
It was already 9pm in the evening. She had been waiting for almost three hours. She was already famished, but she did not eat because she did not want to let MinDe eat alone.
The waiter returned. Unsure what to say. "Uhm.. Ma’am.. It seems like the one you were waiting for was busy. You should eat first while waiting." Thinking that maybe MinDe was really busy, she decided to order first.
{11:30 pm}
"Ma’am... We are sorry but the restaurant is closing." Xiao i was startled. She was staring in a daze when the waiter talked.
"Oh..."After paying the bill, she left the restaurant, leaving a drop of tear on the table.
Few minutes later, a black rcedes Benz drove away from the restaurant.

Feng Jiu was currently wiping her hands.
She was inside the restroom. She leaned on the lavatory. She closed her eyes, trying to control her emotions. She already fixed herself. If soone saw her right now, they wouldn’t believe that the woman that was defiled a while ago and the woman that was currently in front of the mirror was the sa. There was no longer any trace of what happened earlier. She already wiped herself clean. Even the sll of sex that was lingering on her body had already vanished.
Her eyes were still closed when her phone rang. Xiao i was calling her. "Ah Jiu... Can you stay with Ah i for now? I don’t want to be alone."
Xiao i’s voice sounded hoarse, as if she cried and bawled like a child.
"Ah i? Is there sothing wrong?"
"No... Ah i just misses Ah Jiu... Can you co here?"
"Sure... Where are you...?"
"I’m at the park near the station."
"You commuted?"
"No. I drove my car but when I saw the park, I suddenly thought of our childhood days. So, I went inside and sat on the swing."
"Okay.. I’ll co over quickly. Wait for .."
"Mmm.. *sniff* only Ah Jiu treats best.." Xiao i ended the call.
Feng Jiu also wanted to sit, relax and recall their childhood days. It was better than to cry in the corner, better than to think about MinFeng.
Every ti she thought of him, her heart would hurt.. She was always in pain... Even if she waited for him endlessly, she would just wait in vain..

Soone asked why I used Chinese Nas instead of Filipino Nas.
I dunno.. I’m really weird.. When I was crazy with ani, All the novels I wrote were Japanese-thed.
Sa with when I was into Kpop and K-drama. And of course when Watty was just starting (DNP and She’s Dating were very famous back then.)
And now, It’s been 2 years since I started reading Chinese novels so maybe that’s the reason. I’m into Chinese right now. Heheh~
I tried to learn Mandarin like what I did with nihonggo and hangeul but... Urgh..
Anyway, it’s Sunday tomorrow~
