Leaving these words, he turned and left.

The Nine-Winged Beast quickly departed from Mount Veridia, darting swiftly through the sea of clouds, with Kian Sterling standing on its back, nine fox tails unfurling in the wind.

As he approached The Redstone Gorge, he suddenly squinted his eyes, catching sight of the serpent silhouette hovering above the dense forest, barely visible in the dawn light, with purple-black scales shimring coldly, clearly no ordinary beastman.

Looking closer, all nine tails behind him bristled; this group of Aethel Serpents had encircled Rhys Blackwood, Zeke Veridian, and others.

He furrowed his brows, "Did they cross The Endless Sea to find Luna? But why provoke The Aethel Serpent Clan?"

Just as he was about to command the Nine-Winged Beast to descend, he saw Rhys suddenly transform into a colossal purple-black serpent with bone wings extending from its ribs, its venomous fangs chilling, and icy vertical pupils intently observing the enclosing Aethel Serpent Beastn.

Kian’s beautiful fox eyes flickered with astonishnt, "Aethel Serpent True Form?"

Following closely, Corbin Crowley also transford into the Ancient Silver Moon Wolf form and soared into the air.

Silver-white fur adorned with dark golden patterns, claws extending three inches with chilling gleam, and the most terrifying was the pair of white wings protruding from its shoulder-bone spikes.

Even the original crescent mark between its brows transford into a third vertical eye.

His gaze swept across, revealing Zeke, who also instantly transford; his form was no longer the Azure Moon Wolf, but the evolved Celestial Moon-chaser Wolf.

A moon wheel illusion slowly condensed on his back.

Except for Malachi Arcanus whose base form remained unchanged, Corbin Crowley, Rhys Blackwood, and Zeke Veridian all had transformations, and their strength reached the eighth rank?

Though Malachi seed unchanged in evolution, his strength was at the Seventh Rank Peak.

Even the usually extrely smart Kian felt his mind suddenly short-circuit, looking over in shock, completely unaware of what had happened.

How could they all evolve and break through in such a short ti?

Except for himself, his strength remained at the sixth rank, suddenly becoming the weakest among them.

His heart felt uneasy, the joy of regaining the Nine-Tails disappeared completely, leaving a complicated expression.

To speak of jealousy, there was certainly so; he wasn’t a saint, how could he possibly refrain from feeling envious?

Kian quietly mocked himself, yet the corners of his lips curved into a smile, "Indeed, great danger accompanies great opportunity."

He couldn’t help but think, if he hadn’t gone directly to the main sect through The Royal City forbidden passage back then.

If instead, he had crossed The Endless Sea with Corbin Crowley, Rhys Blackwood, Zeke Veridian, and Malachi Arcanus, he probably could have gained such opportunity and achieved evolutionary breakthrough.

Perhaps he could have grown nine tails just the sa, without fearing the sect’s authority.

Thinking thus, his expression grew increasingly complex, feeling he had missed sothing.

But this emotion was suppressed in an instant.

Kian squinted his fox eyes, the Nine-Tails glistening in the morning light.

He leaped gracefully from the flying beast, silently approaching the battle circle.

At the canyon center, three purple-scaled Aethel Serpents were confronting Rhys Blackwood.

The elder Aethel Serpent Beastman coldly fixed his serpentine gaze on Rhys.

His na was Jace Blackwood, a confidant to the new Clan Leader of The Aethel Serpent Clan, now the Fifth Elder.

He was also among those who hunted down Rhys’s grandfather and his father and matron twenty years ago.

The Aethel Serpent bloodline within Rhys had been extracted by Jace himself back then.

Thinking that a cub with extracted bloodline surely couldn’t survive.

Unexpectedly, it lived, restored the bloodline, its aptitude imnsely excellent, breaking through to the eighth rank.

Such strength, even among his peers in the Aethel Serpent main sect, few could compare.

He was entirely a prodigious figure.

It made Jace deeply regret, regret not having directly killed him back then.

"So it’s you, Rhys, the grandson of Specter, the cub whose Aethel Serpent bloodline was extracted, I deeply regret letting kindness spare you back then, giving you a chance to restore the bloodline and break through to the eighth rank."

Jace’s gaze was cold, with the three Aethel Serpents by his side glaring maliciously at Rhys, as if staring at a dead object.

Rhys’s appearance bore a six to seven likeness to his grandfather.

As soon as Jace encountered him again, he recognized him almost instantly.

Rhys’s expression was icy, his serpentine pupils flashing with chilling light, "Jace..."

Blood-soaked mories from twenty years ago surged like tides.

Amid a downpour, the screams of his grandfather’s snake gallbladder being gouged, his father and matron’s limbs torn apart, and that bone needle stabbing his spine to extract blood.

"Seems you still rember ."

Jace sneered venomously, revealing poisonous fangs, "Just in ti to use your poison sac in the Clan Leader’s dicine—"

Mid-sentence, three shadows simultaneously lunged forward.

"So you’re the filth, I’ll skin your serpent today."

Malachi Arcanus’s roar exploded from the side, the Netherworld Dark Fire surged like giant waves.

Jace hurriedly evaded, only to see Corbin Crowley’s silver wings cutting through the morning mist, the cold ice from his brow instantly freezing two Aethel Serpents in mid-air.

"Crack!"

The two frozen Aethel Serpents were shattered by a claw from Corbin Crowley, shards of ice mixed with scales scattering everywhere.

Having just dodged the Netherworld Dark Fire from Malachi, Jace turned his head to see his kin dying tragically, his serpentine eyes growing colder, and filled with shock, "Ancient Silver Moon Wolf?"

Corbin Crowley ignored him, his massive form swept through the air, swiftly closing in on Jace, wolf claws piercing through his bone wings, splattering blood everywhere, "This claw repays Rhys’s blood feud from back then."

"You all..."

Jace’s serpent tail swung wildly in the air, poison ready to spray but was grasped tightly at the seventh inch by Rhys’s tail, tightening further.

His cold voice echoed, speaking human words, "Was my grandfather’s snake gallbladder tasty back then?"

A sudden crisp applause resounded from the canyon entrance. Mael Valerius leaned against the rock wall watching the spectacle, his dark golden eyes intrigued, "The blood of the Aethel Serpent Clan sure is filled with stench."

He tugged Luna Sutton’s hand, "Luna, guess who’s going to die next?"

Luna Sutton said nothing, originally thinking Rhys only gained evolution into an Aethel Serpent by encountering opportunity, not expecting he was originally a mber of The Aethel Serpent Clan.

Behind him lay such a tragic past.

Grandfather, father, and matron all brutally murdered, and at just three years old, he too had the Aethel Serpent bloodline extracted; what imnse blood feud was this?

Yet, he had never ntioned a single word.
