I rember being in this cave alone and feeling so cold. I rember the fear I had walking in and being alone. I didn’t think I would survive the mating ritual. I didn’t know what I was walking into and gosh was it hard to overco. It took a lot of self-control and strength to get through it but boy was I glad I did.
lying on the ground in their arms and I don’t even feel a shred of cold, I am the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. Life hasn’t been the easiest but I have heard of stories. Finding your mate will make it worth it. You will feel a sense of accomplishnt. You will finally feel complete.
I thought they were all just exaggerations, like why should a person make you feel accomplished. You have to do that on your own. No one controls soone’s happiness. I was stupid to even think like that because right now, because of Gyles and Blue, I am finally happy. Yeah, at the end of it all, it takes to be happy but with them in my life, they make it all add up.
They make want to be better. They make want to be happy and content. I am proud to be their mate and I
can’t wait to see what life has in store for us. They said they would protect and I’m glad. I don’t think I could do this on my own.
"Wow,’’ Blue finally speaks up in the silence of the night. I turn to him slowly and his eyes are shining bright. "That was beautiful.’’ He speaks. He looks up at and he smiles. Gyles is quiet but in the silence of the cave, I can hear his heart throbbing loudly. I like that we are in here with no disturbance from the outside world. I always used to identify Lycanthropy as being barbaric. I was wrong. It is more than that. It is a feeling of being complete and not having any worries. They are the two most beautiful gifts I have ever gotten. I am so happy I can’t even explain it. Life is perfect and I love it.
I move to Blue and I kiss him on the cheek. He blushes and he moves closer to Gyles. Gyles wraps his arms around him and Blue starts to kiss his neck. I join in and we all start to kiss and hug and touch.
I am so happy I can’t even explain it.
"Do you think we are going to have a lot to deal with when we co out of here?’’ Gyles mutters quietly in our embrace. I know there is still a lot to do. I know that things are not as easy as we think they will be but I also know that we will be able to overco it all.
"No, I don’t want to have to deal with my mother,’’ Blue says quietly. I know he has been thinking about it. It has to be on his mind--I an, he thought he lost her and now he is hearing that she is alive and even monstrous than he thought she was.
Analise is the main person we have to deal with and I know that he doesn’t want to have to do all that. I would rather just forget about the coven and not bother about it but I don’t think it is sothing that Gyles can do. He is literally being haunted and I think the only way we can get rid of the ghosts is just by going back.
"We are in this together,’’ I tell him with a low whisper. He nods his head and he kisses on the forehead. I know he is nervous about it but I am sure that everything will be okay.
I know that we will all be happy. during the punishnt, I saw things that I never want to experience. I know now that our future is bright. I know now that we will co out stronger than whatever we are being dealt with.
"The sun is coming up,’’ Gyles points to the open space in the cave above us.
I look up and I can see the light peeking through. I am glad I lived to see it. I am glad I got this day with my mates.
I move to the side of Blue and I wrap my arm around him. Gyles wraps his arm around and we all stare at the light coming into the cave.
They are my mates and I love them more than I ever thought I would love one person. my heart has been split into two. I touch my neck and I feel the marks on my skin. I know these bite marks will heal but the scars will always be there. This will always be a reminder of this night and the love we share.
When the sun finally rises above us, I look at my mates and they are staring at I look at them and I smile.
"What do you think the future holds for us?’’ Blue asks. I look out into the sunlight and I smile.
"I don’t know but I think we should find out together,’’ I say to him.
"I like that,’’ he says to .
" too,’’ Gyles replies.
" three,’’ I say and we all start to laugh.
I am looking forward to the future. I am looking forward to the life that we will have together. I know that this is just the beginning but I am excited to see what happens next.
With my mates by my side, I know that we will be stronger. I know that we will get through anything thrown our way. I know that we are going to have a great future. I close my eyes as I feel the warmth of the morning sun. For the first ti since I ca into this cave, I am one hundred percent content as I drift off into the most beautiful sleep of my life.
